	Hi, I'm trying to redownload this game after playing a long time ago but I'm having issues downloading the game.

	I tried clicking the link it just opens a tab and automatically closes. I also tried copying the link for the installer, it just downloads a 5mb zip. Tried to also download it on different browsers like Chrome, Opera, Safari, and Firefox but still no luck.

	As soon as I play PLAY, launcher goes away, nothing happends. No window pops up, no xigncode starts, nothing happends in the task manager. <br />
	<br />
	So far I tried:<br />
	disabling the windows firewall,<br />
	restarting pc,<br />
	reinstalling,<br />
	installing it on a HDD instead of a SSD,<br />
	unplugged bluetooth,<br />
	unplugged 1 screen, <br />
	updated windows,<br />
	run it as administrator,<br />
	tried compatibility running on XP SP3/SP2 and windows 7 and windows XP,<br />
	closed all apps and tried to run it including Discord<br />
	malwarebytes turned off,<br />
	no other antivirus is installed,<br />
	verified the game,<br />
	ran it from desktop and inside the folder to ensure the right file,<br />
	rechecked DirectX and Microsoft Visual C++,<br />
	added the folder in the firewall virus exception list,<br />
	added the SB, SB launcher and the XM from xigncode into the firewall acception list (Inbound Rules and Outbound Rules).<br />
	latest graphics drivers<br />
	<br />
	This has been going on for atleast a year or 2 and tried another shot today but again nothing. <br />
	<br />
	My PC:<br />
	Windows 10 64bit - updated Today <br />
	SSD / HDD available<br />
	32GB RAM<br />
	1660SUPER (6GB)<br />
	Antivirus available: Windows antivirus (which is turned off atm)<br />
	Antimalware available: none<br />
	Graphic drivers up to date.<br />

	Tried alot of forum posts here. What worked:<br />
	<span style="background-color:#ffffff;color:#353c41;font-size:14px;">Type “Performance” in Windows Search &gt; Adjust the appearance and performance of Windows &gt; Data Execution Prevention &gt; Turn on DEP for all programs and services except those I select: &gt; enter both SBLauncher and ScarletBlade exes. <br />

	When I got to the Mereholt area, my game crashed, showing a blank message box in error. This happens every time after logging into that character after about 5 seconds in the game in this area. I have currently verified the files on both the game, the redistributable, and the DX9 files along with double checking that the game is whitelisted on my firewall, which it is, and the problem persists. I am at my wits end with the issue.

	Issue <span>: After I log into the game, within 5 to 10 minutes "Connection to Server Lost" will appear. and i must re-login, When I log back in, it says "This account is being used" that make me to re-login twice.</span><br />
	My internet connection is good, even i try use VPN/GPN, and change my ISP its still same, if there anyone have same issue like me please help this problem appear suddenly since August 8 until now.

I've pretty much tried everything even turning off my Windows Firewall, adding the xm.exe to the whitelist and running the program as well as the launcher and primary Scarlet Blade application in different compatibility modes and as Administrator but nothing will work. I can't change any networking configs because I'm on wireless connection and also I tried installing the program from a drive other than C.</span>

	Hi! I'm trying to play Scarlet Blade, so I registered and downloaded the launcher, then ran the install executable after extracting the archive. After installation, everything seems fine until I open the launcher, which tells me that the repair process failed after downloading the files from the server. So I click Verify, and it gets stuck on "Downloading and unpacking files" at a rate of 0. Uninstalling and reinstalling the launcher led to the same issue. Is there something I'm doing wrong?

	UPDATE 1: So I used 7Zip to extract instead of the default Windows tool. Running install.exe in Scarlet Blade Vendetta Installation Files gives me a pop-up asking if I want it to make changes to my computer, I click yes, and I get something from my AV saying there's a positive for 'Malware.Sandbox.28'

	Update 2: I figured it out. Had to turn off my AV software before installing the game and set SB.exe to run in Windows 8 Compatibility Mode.

	<span style="font-size:17px;">So, I’ve been trying to get this game to work on and off for over a year now and I’m finally deciding to just ask and see if someone knows what the hell is up.</span>

	<span style="font-size:17px;">I have verified the files multiple times, completely updated Windows 10 and all drivers, restarted over and over, have the entire folder and .exe’s themselves as exceptions in Avast, even tried turning protections off entirely to verify files and start the game, tried every compatibility mode, have both exe’s set to open as administrator, disabled the admin pop up just in case that might’a been interfering, got both dll’s and every single C++ and DirectX download necessary and yet when I log in and press “Start Game” the launcher tells me the log in was successful, closes, I hear my computer’s fans go nuts and then… nothing at all. I even checked and there’s nothing in Task Manager so it isn’t like it’s trying to load in the background or something, it just doesn’t seem to exist at all lol.</span>

	Hello all.

	Came back a few weeks ago for some healthy dose of nostalgia, and get some good progress done.
</p>

<p>
	The most recent maintenance, April 17, required the game be updated. However, as I was updating the game, it gets to downloading game.bin, but then hangs at "unpacking files game.bin".
</p>

<p>
	I've left the patcher on and running for 2 1/2 hours and it still was hanging on the aforementioned file.
</p>

<p>
	I am running the patcher as admin, with it as an exception in my firewall (to prevent Windows from being funky).
</p>

<p>
	Advice would be greatly appreciated.

	Hey everyone, I had a question about this error and installing the game.

	To make a long story short, I played this game years ago when it was first released, and have now learned that there is a way to play it once again. I've created an account, installed the game, etc. When I go to start the game I get the error

	I've tried to reinstall the game multiple times, but I still have this error pop up every time. All my drivers and my OS are up to date, and my antivirus isn't getting in the way.

	I've read that some people have recommended installing/re-installing "Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 Redistributable Package" and that this has fixed the problem for them. I use Windows 11 (Home), but I haven't seen anyone say that you can install Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 Redistributable Package without issues in Windows 11 (Home). So... can you?

	And, how knowledgeable do I need to be to be able to do this without screwing up my computer? <strong style="background-color:#ffffff;color:#353c41;font-size:14px;text-align:left;"> </strong>

	And, where would I install it anyway (would it go into , e.g. C:\Windows\System.... ?)

	Are there other possible solutions to this problem?

	Hello dear Scarlettias; last time I had played SB on August 2024. I came back now and my characters' all golds are gone. One of my characters has now over 100 gold and the other one has 500 gold that has just come from the auction now. But I remember I had over x thousand gold at that time. Is it possible restore or does the system delete the gold periodically?

	Also, when I click on Windowed option, it goes full-screen; vice versa.
