  1. I just don't think this arena would be fun for a lot of people cause imagine if you are a mdps main and you only have say Cloth Armor geared and you get put on Knight or Blade Dancer. Your basically going to be useless which makes you and your team have a bad match.
  2. There isn't really a huge difference between our NPC placement and the default. My concern is the monsters that are killing you. The map monsters aren't very strong. Are you using the free gears provided from the level up packages as this should make survivng very easy?
  3. Its still something I'm looking into but as you see from the last patch, there was a lot of changes made and most of them where changes suggested from around the server release so just in-general I'm sort of backlogged.
  4. Idk I understand the convenience of this change. However, the game is already getting burned through by a good chunk of the community so I don't really think its a smart idea to make things gated by time less gated by time.
  5. This isn't possible as the server does not store such information. Once you close the window simply the server forgets about it completely.
  6. Someone who had the same issue said they fixed it by restarting their router and pc and others found success using a different connection. You could try using a vpn or something to get passed this problem with the first solution doesn't work for you.

    Information Hey everyone, just giving you all a quick update. I know there is a couple of suggestions waiting and some changes to some classes planned but we've had to hold back on the Awaken server side of things due to the ongoing patch work for the next content update. As I've stated in the past its very hard to update things when another update is in the works so I've been trying my best to work around this so changes aren't being neglected. We will have a new patch preview coming this week and I'm trying my best to get it done as fast as I can! Update Added a confirmation button when clicking Reset UI. Added the Old School jump as a selectable Emote skill for all classes. Bug Fixes Fixed the animations on casting that became bugged with the release of Inquisitor. Current Updated Fixed the Territory War party members colour so they now appear blue as expected. Updated the text on Guild Building Reapir for clarity. Enjoy yourselves ❤️

    Updates Added a new Honor Star reward NPC "Arena Reward Merchant, Winston" who is located in Aven (X:446, Y:396). Added Mimic Class Outfits as a body and headwear costume that can be purchased from Arena Reward Merchant, Winston. Added the Vendetta Upgrade Stone to the item mall. This item can be used to upgrade certain in-game obtained Alpha costumes to primes. The currently available costumes are: *new* Mimic Body and Headwear costumes. Lightning Halo (CCM Reward) Note: More costumes will be added in future. Added a confirmation button when clicking Reset UI. Reverted the Classic Change of the Support Skill "Tornado". Added the Old School jump as a selectable Emote skill for all classes. Updated the amount of items that can be rolled on at a single time from 3 to 5. You can no longer gain GVG Guild Fame unless you are level 60. Note: This change was put to combat the amount of boosting in low level arena for "free" Glory Gift Bags.   10. Maybe in Classic since they will never be available. But not for awaken unless I decide to make irrelevant ones like 65 and 75 ones able to be used as a costume.
  11. Idk about this. This seems more like a player base problem and will likley just be a 3rd chat channel for people to act this way. I'm not sure if making another chat channel will prevent this problem.

  14. Just cause I haven't been keeping an eye on the game chat as of late, what's wrong with World Calls? Like isn't that sort of regarded as the trading channel since Peer Chat isn't bound by level and is free to spam while World Calls cost a small amount of gold to use so people are less likely to spam that to explain their life story. I'm just not so sure what would be the point since most games that do have this feature don't usually have a Peer Chat channel and unless you have moderators being chat nazi's they end up becoming a Peer Chat in most cases.

When it comes to systems related to trading and such I always avoid making any changes unless completely necessary as I don't want to risk making any mistakes and having something like items being lost or items being duped. I don't really want to come across of cheap shotting a way out with this answer but truely thats the only reason I'd never do a change like this unless it was completely necessary (Like a bug/exploit).
  16. STR gives block so its understandable to have STR on a class that is a tank regardless of it's main damage type. Crit Rate is slightly less important as the majority of the core used skills are magic damage but I'll iterate to another point that the class is already strong as doesn't really need things that will only make it stronger. So maybe in future patches like 70 cap and onwards when the class starts to fall off a bit we can look into this change but as of the moment its already strong enough.

  19. It was bugged until this week. So hard to judge atm if that was the main cause as a lot of people have came to me asking about it for Classic. The sides aren't random its based on order of joining. But it would be hard to coordinate with people to make the matches fair and it would be hard to determine who should be on what team without manually setting it like in the past on Awaken (Which I'd rather not do as its a pain to keep on top of and always causes bias remarks). I think maybe if someone could come up with some more balance rewards per participation then maybe we can discuss it and work out a change in reward. One thing another game I played does is gives say a side based quest in pvp like this. For example: Cap 3 crystal - Get a Chest Kill 100 players total - Get a Chest As 2 easy examples and when those are complete everyone at the end of the match (Like the chests now) will recieve a reward in the mail. Some things like that could give more rewards out to all participants and can actively make guilds who are on the losing side still try to cap crystals and get kills to complete the quests / objectives. (Just as another idea). This is something we can definatly work on for sure. Also yes encouraging not merging guilds into 1 big one would be a good idea. Maybe I was bit unclear but basically my idea was to have better rewards within the system. So you're not just rewarded with more PvP but also reward with more opportunities to get more rewards and obviously the rewards could be better, especially on the weekend event. Time is always an issue even with the current TW. I've been asked by asians to move it earlier / later. I've been asked by American's and South American's to move later it will always be an on going problem. Territory War in Awaken was active and there was a good number of Europian players who attended. I always believe that if the PvP is worth going to and the people actually care to join they will join at any time. We had a number of Asian players in our guild back when I played and these people are going to TW at like 3-5am (every day) and waking up for it and then going to school/work a few hours later. I believe if someone is a PvP player and they're actually trying to win they will attend regardless of the time unless it directly conflicts with something such as work or school. Yes there is some people who will openly refuse to actually attend but atleast from my experiance with the game people who are dedicated to win will make it work. However, I'm always trying my best to make times accommodate as many players as possible.
  20. I mostly agree with this but not in all scenarios. One of the benefits to a system like this is it gives some of the better looking costumes more rarity inturn making them more valuable for people to own. On awaken think of it like the Diamond altar where not everyone has certain costumes which makes it more rewarding to wear / own / sell. I do think there needs to be a system in place for this and not just make every costume super common. A bit of rarity on some items is good for a game as it gives the cashers something a bit more exclusive that doesn't impact the game much or if at all. While giving the free players the option to miss it and put their money into gears and such or into these expensive costumes.
  21. This would be a terrible idea as you'd make the game very Pay2win since you're limiting people to only have success if they pay. The reason why in my take on your suggestion it had the option with getting more but NT was simply to give people the option between taking them to make money off players by selling the items (helping the economy grow) or to choose the NT and get slightly more for your money but limited to yourself. A lot of the time people will choose the tradable option over the NT option as it will give them options too, if they need it they can use it or if they need money they can sell it. This will be the case for many players. This would mean total gold generation within the game will go down meaning the price of items will go down as simply if someones trying to get the same price for items as they do right now simply no one could afford. So sellers will have to reduce their prices based on the current gold in the economy. You will also find putting in those 5 hours would be more rewarding when this happens. As right now half the server has unlimited time each day to put many hours into farming gold. But when you take away that time due to real life commitments it makes finding the time to farm gold more valuable as many of the people farming gold right now will be like "Well I've just come off an 8 hour shift so can't be assed farming gold for 5 hours" which is understandable but also leaves an opening for those who really wanna make money (Making your time more rewarding). You shouldn't be comparing a server which is not only 5 years old but also a server with much more content. Things have to be dummed down and simplified as its not as simple as Classic. Like just hitting on the obvious factor, stones need to be cheaper as with Awaken classes being as broken as they are you cannot simply have someone with +6 armor go against a Reaver with +14 Sickle. That Reaver will destroy that person without any issues. However, in Classic the damage is just no where near that level. Please do not compare the value of VGN on both servers as they're both different games practically and have different things to purchase. Everyone is allowed to have there own opinion.   22. This will kinda be too hard to do as a everyday thing as their isn't many rewards you can give since the games economy is very limited already. Maybe for special events we could do them alongside it but again rewards would be hard to balance.

Adding CC to the game is never a good idea, this is one of the reasons Awaken Classes became such a terrible thing to play with as with every class having CC and especially on the original release with them having CC's that ignore immunity. People have already been complaining to me about struggling to survive thought the current state of the game specifically because of CC. So adding stuns and stuff is really not a good idea. Samurai is a very good PvE class and if built correctly is one of the best classes to PvE on as its one of the only classes that can effectively solo content, especially as the level cap grows and the self healing PDPS weapons start appearing (Human's have it much easier than most with their racial healing skill). Although a dash might help it in PvP I do not think its necessary as Samurai is really good in PvP now especially with the revert on its Purgatory and Asura so you no longer have to lag behind where the player was standing when you pressed the button and now rather you can predict where they move too. You can also hard punish those healers and support classes who forget that you can't tank a good Samurai Again like CC adding -resistance to the game was a big fault of the Awaken Classes. Like for instance one of the reasons Human ranger is one of the more dominant races for the class was because it has the -resistance debuff racial skill (It also has the +resistance which is the other factor). Similar point with buff removal, the less the better. Not sure how I feel about Hunter DoT AoE as I think it wont change the main issues with Hunter, especially since it does actually get use in PvP due to it Anti-Heal. Shaman could be interesting with Rage of Storms changes but I still don't think it would change anything as Magician and Cleric are just better still. I suppose you could play it off meta to abuse people who didn't put much into their Lightning Resistance but idk still I think it just doesn't have the damage still to match Mage and doesn't have the CC to match cleric. I also think there isn't much point to buff its heal spells as its already higher than what Cleric is if I remember correctly. Clerics just better and the second you make Shaman better then everyone will be here asking for Cleric buffs cause now it would be "useless", happened on Awaken Server countless times. Warlock healing wouldn't change much but isn't a bad suggestion for sure, Warlock -Move Speed on the other hand could become a bit of a problem in things like 3v3 where the class can shine. I mean just to generalize I don't think many of the changes will change much about the game state. However, I do appreciate the thought and caution that went into the majority of these changes (Basically, you didn't go over board slapping rediculas stuff everywhere). The main issue with stuff like this is I don't really want to get into the same state as Awaken server where I'm buffing and nerfing classes on a per patch basis. It's very hard to keep track of everything going on and there will be some people who just get tired of it and quitting (Like what happened with Awaken). I know many of the community appreciate the changes made and understand why they are made (Refering to Awaken) but we have here on Classic have a big community of players who never played the Awaken server which is one of the reasons Awaken server's numbers where almost un-effected by the release of Classic (I know the PvP got quieter but thats more related to the try hard players maining Classic leaving the environment a bit more open for more casual players). So its hard to tell how much people would appreciate changes like this to the game. So MAYBE some small tweaks could be made to things like Shaman and Hunter specifically out of the classes you mentioned. However, it's not like these classes are unplayable right now. I think as of right now there isn't really any class I would class as completely unplayable right now (If you had to push me for an answer I'd have to say the top 2 candidates would be Warrior and Shaman but as we all know Warrior gets stronger with patches).
  25. Although I agree with some of your points I don't agree with the current time of the game. Right now if people build EVA they can become naturally tanky that way and especially at this level of play where its hard to build stats, building EVA and then topping up to 100% with procs will make the class be able to dive into the middle of the enemy line up and survive. You cannot rely on EVA alone though, you will need some good resistances too along with shield swapping. I agree however that with +14 and level 75 cap this becomes a bit of an issue as that is when people have good ACC without losing out on their other stats. It can still work in that state though as I know a couple of people who have actively played BD in PvE and PvP environments and made it work.
