  1. There is no reason to make an account wide bank for materials that would benefit players that wouldn't benefit from just having more backpack spaces.

Materials are very carefully selected to be either none tradable or tradable and anything that is tradable isn't really much of an issue to the above mentioned point as most people have their ways of storing tradable items to keep their bank / bag tidy and not full.

Archive only supports a single item of the same item id. So even if you did make it archivable it would only take up 1 less space of x999 which again simply mailing to an alt or trading to an alt on a second account is not really any more or any less hassle in most cases especially since the archive does not display the quantity.

So there is no real benfit to this change that wouldn't break the conventions of materials that we set. I can see an arguement for amount of materials and not enough backpack space but that is simply solved by expanding the players individual storage an not making something that is account wide.

  2. Changing font is hard because of some of the more internal stuff of the game like the titles and other stuff as you mentioned. It's not impossible just not something that can be swapped without causing some secondary issues that would also need to patched and fixed first.

Also we likely would not be able to add it as a selector like the other things unless it was more along the lines of "This will change next time you restart the game". But I'd have to confirm something like that before saying it to be 100%.

Also as a side note font is unlikely to be causing any performance issues in the game as its just images that get created for each character and loaded later. The other server uses live translation (which is likely the reason you might see some performance regarding text, more likely chat than in game as the translations in game are just selecting from a different file set). However, they also have not fixed some of the issues I have fixed which plagued the old AG server too (like gear swapping around other players causing people to freeze). This is likely another contributing factor too. Ofcourse there is a cost to text rendering but it would always be less than a group of players.

I will mention though that we just use the standard english font that the official server used in the past. We do not really care for supporting the chinese text it was always just a nice bonus to have. However, we cannot just swap to the FR/DE/PT/SP server font as they allow some less than optimal characters that fall back to my first sentance.

I will look into it maybe after the next big patch but as far as I know as a side note. A number of people can see the characters in which you mention and it seems to be some computers can see them and some cannot. So I'm not really sure if theres something that can be changed on the system to fix it as a sort of "temporary fix".

As example from my own computer: SJ4e5M6.png

just double checked today, and it sent straight away. Don't know what it was, but it was definitely not because my email was full. I used all three emails I have over the course of a month, one of which is completely empty. But, for me at least, it is working now and I have successfully registered.

    There was a fix made.

Just guna answer the few nuggets since most of this is just repeated from the original post.

I'm not guna tit for tat on what is considered enough as people not selling when you are buying is not a metric use to state whether or not there is enough of them as multiple factors could be at play. Such as but not limited to... People selling when your offline, people seeing the demand and letting the price climb, people wanting for personal use, people storing for future personal use, people prioritizing guild mates / friends over yourself.

There is also nothing stopping someone who is in dire need of them just using the gold to purchase eden crystals or get eden crystals from the various different places we have put them and fragments in the game. I know for certain there aint a shortage of those and because of the dungeons available and the ways to farm gold you don't have to donate a single penny.

If your asking for more ways to obtain pet skills then just bloody make a suggestion rather than dancing around it acting like I'm trying to do harm to the server.

And your right maybe I could have done better and had a double Pet Coin week or something. I'm not the all thinking brain who thinks of every option and scenario, so instead of rants / complaints maybe try suggest it first?

Anyway unless you have some solid suggestions this is my last response to you as its just going around in circles. This was a very hard and tricky update to complete and tried my best to make the process for players to get battle spells much less RNG based and much more balanced for the sake of the entire game as a whole.

I'm sorry if this doesn't satisfy you.

    Hello,

Just saying, this is not 100% chance of getting an ultimate skill, this is 100% chance of getting a random Skill. I fused many pets to try getting some Ultimate skill, I checked based on Yui's post if the skill I got matched with an ultimate, and no :)

As example, I got a pet named "RunBitchRun" (Robust Scarlet Vandra), the 4th skill he got is "Natural Chaos", which isn't listed in any new skill type.

The ultimate names have typo on the post. If you look at the normal ultimate skills (for primes) and the enhanced ultimate skills you will notice the nature damage skill has the same name. However, if you look at your pets skill it matches the description of Natural Disaster in the enhanced ultimate section.

Also, as you didn't consider the lack of Pet Coin in the server, I would suggest to get new method to get them, we don't really care about the RNG spending 999999 pet coins to get the skill book we want, we first need to spend 20 minutes to find someone selling a Pet coin.

There is almost 8,000 pet reward coins in the server currently (within peoples backpacks or banks). Then if we factor in only people who have logged in since February 1st 2024 theres around 3,000 so I hardly call that as  a "lack of".

They're also the joint 3rd most common item on the crystal altar with them being of a similar rate on the gem altar (obviously being higher skews this a bit but its not like they're trying to be rare).

People might not be selling them because people might want to use them themselves considering they're a hot item right now due to the rework.

Also since it comes as a further point later on. Pet Reward coins are available in all places the old Nelle Books would drop. So there is free playable ways to obtain them right now.

Since the rest of it is just negative sarcasm and aggression (passive and not) I'm not really guna waste time on the specifics to be honest. If you want to open a dialog atleast be pleasant about it.

    However...

If you think the current system is P2W then idk how you coped with the old system without having a breakdown. I guess the only arguement that can be made for the old system being "better" is the fact that because there was only 1 or 2 really stacked skills there was less books needed (even though those less books where in bigger pools of items, we're talking about like almost 100 items in an RNG pool down to 20-30).

If I wanted to make it Pay2win why would I split the book pools not only based on skill type but also skill slot? And why would I make ultimate skills a simple reroll item instead of making it a reroll item in a book like it was originally before the custom books (Vicinity).

But anyway unless you bring anything productive to the discussion I have nothing further to add.

  6. The old skills where unable to balanced around as not only where they from 1 extreme to another (most where really bad then there was just a handful of what you can consider gold).

There was not really room for debate on this topic because to put it quite simply the old pet system had a lot of issues around balance which is why pets where disabled across most relevant content (If I remember correctly just Abyss and if you still consider HoO relevant).

And could you imagine me asking players if they want me to balance / change pet battle skills. What do you think the response would be to what can only be boiled down to a nerf on their battle pets that doesn't affect the PvP environments. It would be a majority no for sure full of heated debates so we're solve none of the issues with pets they'd be disabled for eternity and I'd end up just having to stop putting new ones in the game.

Why would I stop putting them in the game? Well because another issue with the old pet system is that people see new pets being added to the game all the time. But because of the high level of investment into fusion odd pets and spending 100's of tokens and praying to get the Blade Fury book (or buying it for a ridiculous price) people where just not interested in buying them for any reason outside of prays they might need rather than just to have a cool pet that they like.

Now atleast people can see a pet they like, buy it and use it without having to worry about the huge investment since the book RNG has been significantly reduced and not to mention just the significantly increased amount of different pets you can have now. One of the main points of this update as was mentioned on the patch notes was to pretty much remove any reason to use pet fusion for battle pets outside of getting the pet to 4 star for the ultimate skill (Which is no longer 50:50 to unlock but 100% chance to get one every time).

At the end though we knew it would be negatively recieved for some but we had to make changes for the health of the game so that pets where usable and people can have more freedom to use w.e pet they want and not have to worry about the significant costs that come with that.

I'll end my response with the specific relevant snippet from the patch notes. Just to note this was something done for the good of the game and the playerbase and sometimes the decision in the short term sucks but in the long term this will be a positive for everyone.

    Changes to Exisiting Pets

So you're probably wondering how this effects your current fused pets.

Well we have tried to keep the id system in line with what people already have. So the skill that replaces another skill should be atleast similar to the skill it replaces. This isn't always the case but please know we tried the best we could to create as little disruption as possible.

Due to some bad decisions there is some ultimate skills that have made it into slots they should be in (such as slot 1 and 2 on prime pets and additionally slot 3 on legendary pets). These skills will be removed with something else. Due to the amount of pets in game we cannot guarantee and can almost guarantee its going to be something people don't want in the slot. This is an unfortunate consequence so we can only apologize for this inconvenience.

As for any left over Nelle's Pet Battle Handbook's they have been replaced with a refund item that will return 1 Pet Reward Coins. Any Vicinity Book's will refund 2 Pet Reward Coins.

    Pet Skill Update

    EE_PATCH_120_01.jpg

It's been on the list for a while now but we have finally gotten around to revamping the pet battle skills!

Pet skills have been poorly balanced for a while now with most of them being useless while having one or two of them being really broken (We're looking at you Blade Fury).

We hope that this brings more variety to pet skills and also gives us the opportunity to re-enable pets across all PvE content.

In addition to the changes pets will now always learn their ultimate skill upon reaching 4 stars.

    Skill Categories

So we have revamped all the pet skills and broken them into several categories.

    Standard Class Skills

These come on all alpha / prime pets as standard.

Can be learned via Skill Book for slot 1 and slot 2.

    Enhanced Class Skills

These come on all legendary pets as standard.

Can be learned via Skill Book for slot 1, slot 2 and Slot 3.

    General Pet Skills

These come on most legendary pets and some custom prime pets as standard.

Can be learned via Skill Book for Slot 1, Slot 2 and Slot 3.

    Special Pet Skills

These come on some legendary pets as standard.

Can be learned via Skill Book for Slot 1, Slot 2 and Slot 3.

    Prime Ultimate Pet Skills

These are obtained by reaching 4 stars on a prime grade pet.

Can be rerolled using Ultimate Skill Reroll Book!

    Legendary Ultimate Pet Skills

These are obtained by reaching 4 stars on a legendary grade pet.

Can be rerolled using Ultimate Skill Reroll Book!

    How to obtain

We have updated how to obtain the skills for pets outside of pet fusion. With the new changes we expect people to mostly ignore fusion when it comes to creating new battle pets.

You can purchase the skill books with Pet Reward Coin's like before but instead of it being a big random pool for each skill it is now broken down into the above mentioned categories and then into slots. This reduces the RNG pool significantly making the process of making battle pets a lot cheaper.

However, as mentioned above. To change your pets ultimate skill you must use the Ultimate Skill Reroll Book until you get the pet skill you want. Like before there is no Skill Book for Ultimate Skills.

    Other Pet Changes

We have done some small adjustments to both Prime and Legendary pray values.

These changes are mainly just to make the numbers match a bit better with other prays that are available.

There has been some nerfs to the Movement Speed prays.

    Celestial Arrow Changes

    EE_PATCH_120_02.jpg

These changes have been long overdue since the Lethal Arrow rework.

Unlike Lethal Arrow this class is mostly fine. However, we wanted to update the effects to be more relative to what the abilities state they do.

We have also shifted some of the numbers around resulting in mostly buffs. Like with previous reworks here is a list of the new abilities:

    Spoiler

    Cleansing Arrow
    Cooldown: 3 seconds

    Abyss Adjustments

Although the content is still relatively new we have made some small adjustments to the material requirements for the new awaken sets.

We have reduced the amount of Abyssal Essences required for the Essence Enhancement Blueprints from 5 to 3.

We have also adjusted the amount of Abyssal Souls required for Partial Enchant Boxes from 60 to 50.

    Changes / Bug Fixes

The Awakened Angelic Rock Guitar range has been increased to 15 meters from 10 meters.

The Celestial Twist Pike now grants Silence Immunity.

Fixed the names of the Dragon Emperor pets between level 80 and level 100.

Fixed the name of the Waist Gem: Magical Protection.

Fixed the text on the Awaken Cloth Armor Tablet Blueprints.

And to your point regarding the not-so-large difference between the gold and awakened sets, I see how the gap in stats isn't meant to separate the active and semi-active players but, in my eyes that means that the time it would take to awaken the sets shouldn't take months to do. Idk, it's hard to fully articulate my point and get it across but looking at the old lv70 awakened sets for example vs. the current sets, the old sets seemed to better represent "awakening" the sets through boss drops and npc interactions vs. flat out grinding for materials through chests you get from the dungeons. Although people did get annoyed as that single drop usually doesn't get to them as quickly as they want, it just made it more genuine and not appear "grindy".

The old sets required players to do menial tasks that often times had little to no correlation with anything related to them. Armors specifically where worse because they where just grinding a 0/10 and hoping you get lucky and often times resulted in players buying every quest just to speed things up which doesn't really come across as interactive gameplay (Often times you had people just sitting at the end of a dungeon waiting for cooldowns to fall off to use the item again). Maybe people forget how bad the grind was back then before the shared party drop system gave everyone a summon item and back when the game wasn't so easy to just run 0/10 dungeons in 20 seconds. Also if you put bugs and abuse tricks a side these quests where honestly a lot worse on RNG side of things. I remember on official having to sell stones (due to the +13 +14 wipes they did) I had bought with real money to fortify my Awaken Grimoire because it took me around 24 days to get a single Felasky who didn't even drop the item when i killed it.

I'm not trying to argue what is the best in the community eyes but from just outright looking at the game since I introduced material based systems for gear. The player engagement has gone up significantly and patch longevity has also increased. I have made tons of content over the years and the content that is the most engaging and stands the test of time is anything with materials involved. Starting with stuff like GOP / DS and including things like HoO / Abyss. I'm sure everyone would love content that takes a week to get everything you wanted from it but if we want to keep the game active between patches this is the only way that I've found success.

    7 hours ago, Nanami said:

That's the thing, everyone that currently has 1-2 sets awakened, I guarantee you they farmed majority if not all of the (168) essences before this patch even came out and that not a single person has awakened a set from this patch without having essences from before hand.
Many of the playerbase used to sell sets or essences, others farmed because abyss was quick so people had them ahead of time.

Already said I would look into it didn't I?

  9. The vases and chests do respawn fast, they just dont respawn in the same positions. To give some back end information on this aspect.

They have several of the same type of monster in the game (so there could be like 10 chests in the map). Then each of those 10 will have 5 active spawns out of 10 total spawns. The spawns aren't entirely random either they're mostly sequenced so thats why if you learn good routes this part can be done really quickly. We don't really have any plans to make this achievement any easier because this achievement is one of those things that it feels rewarding to complete since usually your doing it for the mounts. Which is why this specific achievement is sharable between characters.

I have no plans at the moment to make cape achievements to be shared. Maybe in a future update but right now it is not in the plans.

    Hello,

I am a part of those returning players who have recently started trying to catch up with the players who have been grinding for these awakened sets for months and months on end. I've also seen a few threads and suggestions people have made regarding the amount needed. I can see why they want it lowered, and also why you would want it to be retained. But maybe it's time to recheck the free time the community has in a month? Yes, people who are able to actively play every day would take a couple of months to complete them which prolongs the lifespan of each patch the GM team rolls out, but does the community still have that much free time? Just looking at it from the point of view of the new player/returning player you refuse to adjust for, it is very intimidating to know that it would take regular players that long and that it would take maybe ten times the duration for us players who can only log on a few times a week? It promotes "account sharing" or just demotivates a person completely because it takes that long to get even just one set (probably a month or so). Of course, I know you have to account for these active players and that decreasing the quantity would mean hastening the time it would take for them to complete the sets.. but what happens when the active players you want to avoid reaching the end game too quickly want to take a break from the grind? It would be old players taking a break from the game and new players with a big obstacle to cross just to even get one set to awaken.

Of course, at the end of the day, I am but one player who just so happens to have returned to the game. It's the GM team's call on how they want to run the game. But maybe it's worth looking at it from the point of view of other than just that the numbers make sense?

I would agree with you, but the sets have only been out 1 month and 1 week. I have also checked the data on how many people have completed awaken sets and it is more of less in line with what was expected. I would argue anyone who is logging in now isn't even technically playing catch up?

Also correct me if I'm wrong. But I believe this is the only thread about lowering them? I know theres chatter in game about it but that same chatter happens every patch so it's hard to tell how much is genuine and how much its just someone being angry if they haven't had as many drop as would have liked?

Also I would like to point out that because of the new awakened systems you can start progressing your gear from the moment you get it. So the second you craft the orange version you can already begin fortifying / geming / enhancing etc. These orange sets are in themselves decent enough as a starting set and then when you get the materials to upgrade it you can then continue the progress on the golden set before heading to the awakened set.

So yes it takes maybe 1 month to awaken the armor and "max" it out. But you could login in now, craft the orange set and already have the building blocks and start working on your character. People are far to focused on having to be completely maxed out within days of the patch launching and with the rate in which armors release your looking at this content being able to be spanned across 1-2 years for the dedicated players. So if it takes you 6 months of hard work to get the majority of sets is that not kinda good to have stuff to do while waiting for the next patch when the orange is perfectly viable, the gold is close enough to the awaken.

I mean for example comparing the the first in reverse order awaken heavy mdmg set.

    you get set bonus wise
5% more pve dmg across the whole set and -5% pvp dmg taken.
10 more int, 5 more lck
25 more mcrit, 25 pts of acc
3% more mattack, 2% more dmg dealt
(then the best part about the gold is the 5% chance to increase their mdmg taken +5%)

then u compare it to the awaken
another 20 int and 10 lck
max mp 3896, 25 more mcrit and acc and 5% mcrit dmg
5% more mattack, 1% more dmg dealt and the proc becomes 10% chance with 2 stacks and a -252 acc debuff.

So as you can see theres nothing really standout that makes you unable to play the game with starting at the orange version and the second you get gold your more than capable to pvp on it without being at much of any disadvantage.

Idk if I'm missing something but I don't really think the system is unreasonable for brand new content?

  11. It is too early to be making nerfs based around people who are new or joining the game being able to catch up. The drop rates where vigorously tested to make sure the sets take an adequate amount of time. Yes this will be decreased in future but what you have to remember what are people going to be doing in a months time when they max everything?

I will look into the Abyssal Essence situation and make sure my calculations where right but I believe they are.

As for Viridian Gorge I will quote my previous reply to this as it still stands aside from the guilds mentioned you can just swap out for the most current guilds.

    Quote

The dungeon allows for 10 players but the HP and such was designed for around 6 - 7 players. We did this to try and be more inclusive of the community so inviting people who maybe aren't really geared enough or aren't strong enough to have a huge impact isn't a waste of a party slot. This is probably the single most biggest in the game right now for new players who don't join Garden or Stardust. I have spent time talking with people who have just started or returned to the game and saw there struggles to get anything done. So atleast in this dungeon it won't hurt you to fill out your party with a couple of randoms who just want to play the game.

This content is designed to last and because of how the rates are designed you cant often get high drop values compared to the older tower-esk dungeons. Based on me spending several hours testing and tweaking each gem should 2 days of runs if you are on average luck, but from my testing youb will get a lot of high drops through out that. I think 2 days for a high powered gem is perfectly acceptable. However, if you disagree then theres not really anything wrong sticking with the DF/4T gems as I tried hard to make these new gems good but not outright replacements, so theres nothing wrong sticking with older stuff if you find it this way.

    Backpack & Bank UI Upgrade

    EE_PATCH_119_01.gif

We have made some improvements to the backpack UI and bank UI to improve the experience for players on smaller screens but also allows us to increase the amount of space in the future!

You can now adjust the amount of rows and columns visible on the backpack and bank UI.

If you choose to have your backpack / bank smaller than the amount of spaces you have, you will have access to a scroll bar to scroll down the list.

Note: If you set the rows and columns to maximum your backpack and bank will not require a scroll bar and will effectively work the same way it does now.

    EE_PATCH_119_04.png

You can adjust the amount of rows and columns in the UI settings.

Note: I am aware there is a small issue with the drop down clipping behind the buttons on the smallest UI settings. I will fix this issue in future and should not effect the functionality at all.

    Costume Updates

    EE_PATCH_119_03.jpg

Due to time constraints during the big patch I was unable to add any new costumes to the game.

So we have taken this week to add a bunch of new weapon and back costumes from Aura Kingdom.

We have also added some new mounts.

We will be looking to adding a few more new pets that have been recoloured by @Rubia as well as some hair pieces which I didn't have time for this week.

    Costume List

    Spoiler

    Mounts

    Quicksilver Tiger
    Fire Brand Tiger
    Ethereal Wolf

The deep abyss is the final chapter in the Abyss content!

Available for level 125 players and above who have completed the L115. Explore the Abyss questline. Three new dungeons are available via the new Abyss Gate that has opened at (X:265, Y:336).

These dungeons bring you access to the new Awakened Armor sets and various different accessories and trophys to collect.

The dungeons can be ran twice a day when available (Check below for the dungeon schedule).

Today we bring you new Awaken Armor sets.

There is a total 15 armor sets that can be awakened that where added in Patch V115.

    EE_PATCH_118_02.gif

    The Process

Like with the previously added Awaken Weapons the new Awaken Armor sets will use the custom Awakening System. This includes the fact that upon upgrading and awakening you will keep any fortifications, enchants, gems and gear upgrades.

To start the process you will need to craft the orange version of the armor set via blueprints that can be bought from Guild Town NPC's.

    EE_PATCH_118_03.png

Once you have your base armor pieces / set you can then upgrade it to a gold set using the corresponding armor tablet. To get the armor tablet you must purchase the blueprint from Armor Merchant's in Abyss and then craft it.

    EE_PATCH_118_04.png

Once you have your gold armor pieces you can start gaining Awaken EXP by collecting and using Awaken EXP items. You can see your progress if you hover over the weapon in your inventory.

Note: The awakening exp from the previous content does not apply, you must collect Abyssal EXP items.

    EE_PATCH_118_05.png

Once you have collected all 5 stars your gold armor pieces will be ready for Awakening. To awaken the armor you must collect the corresponding awakened armor tablet.

    Awaken EXP

To aquire Awaken EXP for your armor you need to collect Awaken EXP items.

Awaken EXP items will always drop from bosses who have them on the drop table and will be limited to one drop per player. If your bag is full then the item will be mailed to you instead.

    EE_PATCH_118_06.png

You can get Abyssal EXP Jar from the bosses in Abyss. This includes the original five Abyss dungeons and the three new Deep Abyss dungeons. You can also get them from the Elemental Battlefield raid quests.

    EE_PATCH_118_07.png

You can get Abyssal EXP Shell from the bosses in the new Abyss: Burning Crystal Pass dungeon. More information below.

    EE_PATCH_118_B3.png

The Burning Crystal Pass is a new solo dungeon found in Abyss that can be ran five times a day. This dungeon provides a bit of gold, some abyss materials and the much valuable Abyssal EXP Shell's.

You can access this dungeon via the portal located in Abyss at (X:265, Y:336)!

    EE_PATCH_118_08.png

The Corrupted Crystal Pass portal has appeared in the Abyss.

Complete the dungeon to obtain rewards.

This dungeon gives a lot of EXP and CP so make sure to complete the dungeon on characters and classes that you wish to level up!

We have also increased the amount of Flame Elemental Stone's and Ocean Elemental Stone's obtained from the Elemental Battlefield during the event period.

    Event Duration

The Corrupted Abyss Event Ends on:

    January 11th 2024

    EE_PATCH_118_B5.png

With the new content we have done some minor improvements and changes to the original Abyss content!

These improvements include the effects and sounds of the dungeon and the texture quality of the dungeons.

We have also increased the move speed of the Esh-Baal npc!

The changes made to the Abyss crafts are as follows:

    Spoiler

Reduced the Fragmented Abyssal Soul cost for all Blueprint's.

Removed the Armor Fragment cost of all Blueprint's at the Merchants (Just the purchase price not the crafting materials).

Removed the RNG bag as it is no longer required.

Reduced the amount of essences needed for the following pieces:

    Head Piece: 6 Essences -> 4 Essences
    Body Piece: 8 Essences -> 5 Essences
    Belt Piece: 3 Essences -> 2 Essences
    Hand Piece: 5 Essences -> 3 Essences
    Boot Piece: 6 Essences -> 4 Essences

    EE_PATCH_107_B4.PNG

Angelic Essence and Demonic Essence can now be traded between players.

Added an exception to the potion block to allow Engineer Potions to be used in PvE dungeons again.
Note: They are still disabled in PvP instances like Temple Arena.

Smoke Bombs now only have a 0.5 second cooldown.
Note: In PvP instances Smoke Bombs will have a 10 second cooldown.

    EE_PATCH_107_B5.PNG

Fixed a bug with the Aven Teleport Device.

Fixed an issue with the Racial Level 10 Gems not having increased stats compared to the Racial Level 9 Gems.

Fixed an issue with the Axe of Oblivion where it would no longer stack the P-ATK buff if the target is maxed stacked.

    🙂 Happy Abyssmas 🙃

  14. The game can be played on most things even when not ideal (playing with the settings helps a lot).

Aslong as the video card is not integrated with the cpu I don't see you having any issues with the game that cannot be solved by turning down the settings (The game is pretty old now and windows creates more issues than hardware these days).

  15. 1. Isn't possible. This technically isn't a quest and is heavily tied into the functionality of the map and if put honestly, not optimal.

    2. I will evaluate this in the future but it has already been made a lot easier in a recent patch and outside of certain boss mechanics is somewhat soloable as it is already.

    3. I do have plans for this, however these are still the best in class weapons overall and will not be made too easy until they have replacements. Just like with HoO weapons, they had tweaks to make them easier but not made completely easy until something else came later.

    4. This content was designed for roughly 7 average players who are only following the basic guides of stacking gear. This would not be changed much if changed to a 5 man and was mainly made a 10 man so that carrying people and including people who are not quite geared is more friend since this content is a lot more casual oriented.

    5. I'm aware of this but I am not sure what I'm going to do about it yet.

    6. Isn't really possible with the nature of the game right now. I may look into something like this in the future.

    7. I will think about it but atleast for the moment I'm happy with how the bow functions especially since pierce classes are very rampant in game.

    8. Will look into it but I believe the bombs don't spawn and are already pre-spawned. I will look into the pet thing though as I could see why this could be a problem.

    9. This only works with items that come as a x1. I can look into this but its not a priority right now as I have a lot of stuff going on at the moment and don't want to leave the game to have no content for too long.

    10. A lot of testing goes into the coins and stuff and the whole point of a holiday event is to encourage people to spend more time in the game. We do try give something to everyone where possible but we cannot just constantly be handing out low effort rewards as the point is people playing and spending time on our game during the holidays.

    1. This system was not added for you to claim a full set. This system was added to get the missing pieces at the end or if there is a specific item you are looking for and not the full set. Back in the older days bosses like this some people would have to farm over 200 bosses for a single piece because the other pieces keep dropping. I remember killing over 200 Silins for the Drake Eye Ring before they added class drops.

    2. I'm looking into this issue.

    3. I will evaluate this and maybe make some adjustments.

    4. EXP / CP events are not really necessary as unlike official where they just yolo increase the EXP / CP of monsters and leveling I calculate every single level and work out the right amounts. I'm not saying there wont be one ever again. But the default server rates and the fact that we've added several ways to gain EXP / CP outside of just grinding mobs in hard maps there isn't really a big need for these events right now.

    5. This change was a bad change system wise for the game. Extending the duration is a much more balance way to go about it and I will likely look into this shortly since its best to match POD since people usually wear them in tandem.

    6. This has been on the list for a few years but the list just keeps getting longer so I cannot promise this any time soon.

Hi I find it alarming that we are losing players since they are transfering to Ethereal EE and I hope that the team is working on something that can bring players back to the server. i was just wondering if we can add a pvp solely for base classes for a more balanced one or a pvp/gvg/tw where gears/class/levels are capped to a specific tier/level that might help improve the experience of other players. Idk which is the most balanced level to be honest but maybe 65-75 range. After entering the said battlefield the stats will be adjusted to lv65/75 and there will be npcs inside to provide gears that can only be used in that specific battle. I have played games which had the same feature such as black desert online and I was just thinking if its possible for VGN to do that.

Maybe players can earn points that can be used for cosmetics so that the players who would only play just for pvp would have some rewards at least.

We are working on things for the 3v3 arena at the moment whether they will be the next patch or not is still up for debate.

I want to point out however that up until last year we had a mode exactly how you pitched in the game for several years called Normal Class Territory War which had a gear cap of level 80 for weapons and level 78 for armor giving a good diversity in both armor choices and weapon choices while having the feel of level 75 cap. Your stats where also balanced as if you where level 80 and awaken classes and mimic where disabled.

I bring this up because pretty much nobody touched this mode the entire time it was up. You maybe get 5-10 matches a year with a party vs party if you where lucky.

For reference here is the original release notes of the revamped version that had the features you desired in stat caps.

The issue with PvP on this server is no matter what we do the underlying fact is a large majority of people simply just wont attend unless they are going to win. So if one of your two guild parties is offline, the other party just wont go which kinda defeats the point of PvP entirely. People are so focused on winning or losing that they forgot the most important thing is to just have fun. I want to point out not everyone is like this but the majority are.

We made a completely custom PvP mode that was heavily suggested over the years which was a revamped version of what Territory Wars original was. This mode was released almost a year ago and has still yet to be played in the intended way.

Also as far as I'm aware a lot of the people who play other servers a good majority of them didn't play our Awaken anyway. They've been hopping server to server for the past few years, everytime a new one opens they all flock to it get bored and then bully the staff into closing the server, just for one of the community memebers to beg for the files and reopen again with the same issues as the last. All I will comment further on this is that we're still around, we've been around for 8 years and our content is still going strong and of a much higher quality than even official standards these days.

  19. CC is not really aimed at your level of gear and should not be completed until you have more gear, this is by design as its suppose to be end game content and not just content to do once you reach the required level.

Right now you need to start with just focusing on content that will make your character stronger. You will get some people who are inconsiderate. So its best to find a party of a guild that can either help you a long with guiding you to what gears you should get first.

For example, you should really be focusing right now on completing the basic achievements for the bonus stats and getting an armor set that can help you be relevant in abyss. 95 Awakens / 110 Awakens are good options for this. You can also work on getting Haven of Oblivion weapons (Which you can get either from joining a party which believe me people can solo these days or if you cannot get a party the Demon Stone Exchange in Death Mountains).

You can also get some decent accessories by doing the 110 trials and getting the world boss combos from there, there is some specific gears that are highly recommended as solo pieces such as Gailett's Training Ring. There is also various different gears available across the content that is soloable / easy to get a party for that you can obtain to improve your character to where people will invite you to parties. Some that come to mind are:

    • Temple Arena Trophies (Most people farm these bosses for EP and such and they're in the open world so you don't really need a party). Just be careful as they are found in a PVP map so you can be killed by other players.
    • Some Fame items across the different maps are nice to get along with the exchange rewards from Dimension of Souls / Dragonside Ridge / Demonic Valley.

Again your better finding a guild or group of players who can give you better insight than me. As its not just a battle to get the gear, but also a battle to get the gear people have selected as being the "meta" gear.

    But to TL;DR

Your not suppose to do CC until after you have gotten a good weapon and a good armor set which requires you to do at the very least Haven of Oblivion (Now available via Demon Stone Exchange) and Abyss. You will find people who are adamant that you some how have to have CC before Abyss, but these people are just compensating for being subpar and probably bought the Abyss set and then got carried in CC.
