  1. You can easily cap resist without the +5 resist gems (you can cap it now without any resist gems on a pdps, just have to use guardian enchants). I'd say that PDPS get fucked over even more with the introduction of those gems but again that's just my opinion.
  2. +6 is definitely enough.. the person who gets the most kills in my guild every time literally has a +6 set with a +10 weapon. A +10 weapon is definitely a necessity, but a full +10 set is not. For others that spend, if it is in their means to spend why not allow them to? I spend money on this server, more than I would like to admit but it's in my means to do so. But I also merchant, sell runs and actually farm since I have the time to do so. Play the game, farm with what time you have, spend some money. But don't operate under the impression that you must +10 every single item to be relevant or useful because that is just wrong unfortunately.
  3. I think a lot of the problem comes from the fact people want to have their +10 gear as soon as they can get it and that isn't how the game is meant to be played. MMOs are a gradual grind, not something that should be instantaneously finished the day of release. That is why games die out and get boring because there's nothing to work for. Spending money here and there is fine as it helps you gear up, but if you want to have your +10s immediately, expect to be spending more money.
  4. I think you're approaching this in the wrong way. You're under the impression that a +10 set is required/necessary to compete or play the game when in reality a +6 set would suffice. Many players now have a +10 weapon and +3-6 set, the people who have more time to play, spend money or are just lucky have better forted sets. Also, making words bigger to make a point doesn't really help, it just makes you look kind of dumb but that's just me. While I do think the conversion rate of Alpaca Daily coins to SS now is quite bad, it shouldn't be as good as other servers got to use (FR, BR, whatever it may be). There should be some limitations set on it like it would make your equip bound, only go up to X amount of fortifications. More or less the "p2w" stones are from +6~10 anyway, but all you need is +6 to actually play the game. P.S.: $200 at this cap would get you barely a +6 set in Aeria US, dunno about the other servers but I can imagine it was about the same; also we're blessed to not have the outrageous costs of fortifying on this server. I'm not sure how many of you guys actually played these lower level caps but people were turning to buying gold just to fort their set because of the costs.
  5. The merchant was not in the game's content at the level cap. The merchant was introduced as a reward from merchant boxes from Wonder Pocket and with the introduction of level 75 content through dungeon bosses. You can watch old GvG videos from level 70 cap from back then and see that everyone was still using LCK Elimination Lv3 gems in case people want to say it's wrong. http://gametsg.techbang.com/fn/index.php?view=npc&npc=55067072#detail http://gametsg.techbang.com/fn/index.php?view=npc&npc=55413184#detail Here are the two NPCs that carry level 4 gems and where you can receive them. Adding them to the game will do more detriment than good IMO, don't think they should be added at all.
  6. You guys confuse pay to win with pay to convenience too much. The game does not require you to spend any money to be successful in it. Is it encouraged and does it help a lot? of course but that's any MMO that is like this (with regards to fortifying gear, costumes). There are tons of way to farm gold but people rather sit in aven and do nothing. A guildy of mine made close to 75k in a day of farming legion and selling boxes, you can farm 0/2 dungeons or farm mobs in highlands (I see a lot of players doing this). People are just lazy and like to complain.
  7. I think most players stopped playing those servers because of the lack of content being released not necessarily their "greed." A lot of players here and on the official versions seem to forget one key detail when looking at these servers. This is a business to them, their business model is working (as you've spent money, and lots of others have and will continue to do ). A few people who threaten to stop spending money (which in reality, they probably won't anyway) while countless others are spending money means they are more or less doing the right or appropriate thing with regards to how they operate sales. There is no incentive for them to boost the access for f2p players because usually it's either abused or takes away from profits (most likely not much of a take away, but it still will).
  8. It's useful when playing smiter/off-heal cleric in TW if we can place the pwind circle elsewhere. +1 for me
  9. Suggestion should be denied for the following reasons: Every guild should be allowed to set their tax to whatever percent, whether it be 0% or 1000% (I personally think we should be able to set it to a higher % but that's just me). You do not have to use these guilds with high taxes, you can wait patiently like others do or spend gold paying for the tax or level your own guild. Speaking specifically to 911 guild, we have always had our tax at 911% for the entirety of the server. When we were a level 4 guild and just had our guild town or now when we were the first level 7 guild. If anything, these circumstances do the opposite of promoting toxicity in the community. It's very rare that people work together outside of their group of friends or guild - now people are working together to help SweetDreams level to 7 so they can have lower tax (which is hilarious, since they did the same exact thing at level 60 cap). If you do not like how it is, you shouldn't really play the game - this is the tip of iceberg that stems from the toxicity within Eden Eternal and if this triggers you as much as it does (based on how you reacted in game, on the VGN discord and now here), I'm scared of your well-being.
  10. How to know who hit it first if theres 20+ people spamming AoEs and people do inconsistent damage and lose aggro immediately? Sounds like they'd have to implement another system to let everyone know so nobody kses!
  11. I know the proper thing, I'm just asking what you thought it may be since you want to change things already, figured you may want to change how it works with that too! Just simply asking for clarification
  12. What declares the boss yours anyways if you implement a timer like this? The person who was AFK there waiting for it to spawn or the person who hits it first tagging the boss upon it's respawn?
  13. You seem a bit triggered over something so trivial.. maybe you should calm down and count to 10. Imagine living in a world where you couldn't ask in peer chat, guild chat or whisper a buddy asking if they've seen the world boss kill recently. How hard would that be? Are you a hermit that does not interact with anyone in-game where you can't do that? Whether it's a quality of life change or not, it will make things "easier" to track. This is something that is bad for the game because it will promote mass gatherings at the boss waiting for it to respawn, making people AoE for the boss on spawn and resetting the boss. If you don't think that will happen you didn't play EE when it was first launched. This was happening even without timers. In games that have timers such as this (MapleStory 2 for example) bosses are consistently camped like this and mass KSed. Using other games that implemented things like this as evidence, it shows that it's a bad system and unhealthy for the game environment (since people are already easily so trigger-able and salty over the smallest things). Also, side note - you mention that monitoring and reports could be easily used to combat these malicious things, which already provides much more of a workload for the already small GM team. Every single day they'll receive dumb reports of people stealing world bosses, or what they think is "stolen" from them. I can already see the countless reports occurring from people that didn't first hit the boss and saying "X stole my boss from me." Reading and comprehending things and choosing to ignore moot points is also different, just because I choose to not respond to certain points does not mean I cannot comprehend them, you simpleton.
  14. It's not necessarily about no-lifing. Everyone on this forum seems to want to be spoonfed to make everything easier whether its class drops, higher drop rates or things like this. Most of the suggestions are suggested by the same people too. You're suggesting something that shows a timer, if you really think about it the kill message already does it. Just take a note of the time and the channel and guess which one is going to come next (hint: most people either go up or down from the channel they were previously in). The game is easy enough as it is, making it too easy is a problem - there's a reason things are the way they are.
  15. Camping times has always been apart of the game. I don't think its beneficial to those that are willing to put the effort in to timing boss spawns and farming them until they get their trophy or achievement. Why reward players for being lazy? The game is already easy enough as it is, put in a little bit of effort and this sort of change isn't even necessary. All it's going to do is promoting boss resetting and stealing bosses because everyone will know the respawn time and sit there and wait for it spamming AoEs.

    Old Faces

    thats just u HAHAHA
  17. Seems like a good change, I've always wondered why it was this way anyway
  18. You should read the thread before replying to it =/. The thread isn't about when the GvG matches start or end, it's about when the actual bracket is posted.
  19. The current GvG bracket posting time is at 06:00 (6 AM EST/Server time). For most of the players in NA/SA, this time is in kind of an awkward place because of how either early or late in the evening it is. (3 AM Cali, 5 AM Mexico, 6 AM East Coast, 7 AM Brazil Time). Because of this time issue, it's hard to sufficiently prepare for the first or second GvG because it is hard to see if people will be in attendance, it requires the NA/SA players to either stay up super late or wake up super early to start preparing their guild. To get points for ranking to enter GvG is through Arena matches. The last arena match before GvG posts it's schedule ends at 22:30 server time. This gap of 7 and a half hours could easily be reduced. There are two possible solutions to this issue: The first being, make GvG bracket post a day in advance (similar to how it was when GvG first started; it was posted on Friday rather than Saturday, which gave guilds an entire day to prepare and see who could be in attendance). or The second being, make the GvG bracket post 30 minutes after the closure of the last Arena that would be able to contribute to the points for ranking system. A counter-argument I could see is how this time change could effect regions outside of NA/SA are the time changes could effect them in the ways it effects us. While this may be true, if the bracket is posted at the end of Arena's schedule time (most EU players would already be asleep, since it would be 3-4 AM in most EU countries already). And for Asian players (haven't seen or encountered many myself, but I'm sure there are some) it would be already in the early morning/afternoon hours for them. I'd appreciate any feedback the rest of you may have, or additional information or evidence that you feel would go against these changes or would show some sort of benefit.
  20. I think the only thing they need to make an adjustment for is the ability of getting a box itself. Most of the time people don't get an elite box for doing damage or contributing to the elite. I'm not sure if it was changed but if I remember right anyone that tapped the boss for any damage would receive a box in your mail.

    Guild Tax

These are not fallacious arguments, it is proven through math. The sets that are crafted are significantly worse overall compared to sets you would receive or use from the fame shops in Aven or armor boxes. With the EXCEPTION to the healer set(which at level 60 cap, is inefficient in comparison to Time Rocket set but not as much as the other sets are). These sets that are crafted through the foundry are for lazy players who do not want to get fame/grind arena for their sets. They are worse in every aspect and if you do the math yourself you'd see it for yourself. I'm not gonna bother responding to the rest of your wall of text because it's poorly formatted and I do not want to sift through it.

    Guild Tax

There are a lot of problems with setting limitations on a guild's tax rate. It creates precedent for the future when players do not like what others are doing when they are fully entitled to do what they are doing. The guilds that are constantly grinding out the fame and gold to level up their guild should be rewarded, whether its through gold that will be earned through taxes or other means. Aside from guild repair and guild level ups, the guild gold is relatively worthless; there is no way to get it out of the guild for players to actually use. A maximum tax rate seems silly as the players are not forced to use these guild towns. While SweetDreams may be the only guild that is capable of crafting new level 60 gear, it is also day 3 of the level cap/content cap. You or any other player are not required to use their guild town in any capacity, nor do they expect you to at these outrageous tax rates. There will always be a few outliers that will use it regardless of the tax, it is evident in who's crafting certain items through it while being out of their guild (focus is on LCK 3 Fatal / Elimination gems with this). Be patient like most players will be and a guild will eventually level up and they will have a lowered tax. As soon as another guild with a foundry reaches level 6 both of them will lower tax, it always happens. With the exception of a few level 60 oranges and the accessibility to level 3 racial gems, the level 6 guild town is kind of useless anyway. The armor sets people are mass-producing to try to create a monopoly (which failed, because every member in their guild is trying to undercut one another and make any money they can) are not even optimal sets. You'd be wasting your time and/or money using these sets (there are exceptions obviously, but very few). Your input about the Aeria server and tax rates is just wrong. Every top guild had a 1,000% tax rate regardless of their "uncommon" or common NPCs. This was a common thing back then and most people did not complain about it. It was a way to deter other players outside of their guild from progressing and beating their competition.
  23. Speaking from experience, most people only used purple weapons during transition phases of the content cap. When the level cap was raised, purple equips were farmed to hold us off until trials. A lot of end-game players had a level 65 purple staff, up until level 65 trials came out they switched to the trial staves and then to Awaken. The purple meta really only stuck to certain weapons, maces which were used for mDPS templars, clubs which were used for main hand for martial artists because of the high base patk, and shields because of the higher defense for shield swapping.
