Those people who buy those set at that prices are just nuts, the difference between a 100% and a 110% cloth armor is at best 100 def, that in my opinion is not worth the cost, you can find 103 % amor sold at 2-3 k easily and wont make much of a difference in pvp. Also the difference between a 100% and a 109% club is around 900 atk. However with upgrade to 120% which probably will come in some weeks makes that club not worth the effort, on cap 60 I upgrade a 102% cestus +10 and on the first week I didn´t see much of a difference with 110 cestus users, now I have the same cestus upgraded to 120% and dont regret anything. Some people argue that any atk number is worth the cost however lv50 potions give more or less the same amount of atk and I dont see many people using them on TW or even GVG.

You get the same amount of corals from selling 100 ec now than when EC were at 85 g ea so people who spend $ on the game have not been affected by the current state of the economy and the raise in price of stones, on the contrary they are getting more advantage over other F2P players simply because the inside currencies of the game (gold) has each day less value.
  3. I agree completely with this such a big CC is just to broken on PVP, a whole party is easily wiped if it is hit by it and it is quite easy to being hit on GvG maps. On other sugestions I don´t think they are necesary at least at the moment since it is wiser to wait awaken weapons and then see how things change. Last week I was one shoting ilus on 3vs3 quite easily with a lv 60 bow with my Ranger, I don´t have any idea how the classes balance will change with awaken weapons hence we should wait.

As a F2P player who almost finished to get it +10 set (have 2 parts +8) I do have to say that even if having a 10+ set is pretty it is not a requirement for pvp just a 10 weapon and 6 set is enogh. On the las 2 weeks when I was still using my lv 60 +6 set and lv 60 bow I use to oneshot Ilus on arena quite easily and frequenly and among them they were many who already had 65 set +10 and weapons. The economy of the game is currenly at a bad shape but you are over exaggerating a lot of things which some of them don´t even have to do with the current problem, It just sound like you want X or Y thing and you are angry because you don´t have them yet.
  5. Agree, thats the current problem with the economy. For cash user the situation has not changed since back when ec was 85 g it was posible to buy corals at 700 g which means 12 corals per 100 EC sold and now with 110 EC and 900g corals again you get 12 corals for the same amoung of EC. The only ones heavely affected by this situation are F2P players since the amount of extra gold you get from lv65 content is not nearly close to the current rise of EC price (hence everything else in the game) which still is increasing at this very moment. The gold which is the currency inside the game is losing its value which is really bad for F2P since it is the only currency they have which means that the time they invest on the game is loosing is value which heavely discourages players.
  6. Just last weekend I saw a Samurai dealing 30k+ damage to our party in GVG, they are not useless just need time to adapt and get used to the placeable aoe to be able to do pvp properly.
  7. The problem is not just stones, it is the whole economy. A few weeks ago I use to boy EC and take some items like recolection tools, bank slots and bags beside stones and prime costumes and they actually helped me to recover the gold invested and not be on red numbers. However with EC at 100g ea taking bags, tools even mounts is no longer rentable since people just wont pay more for those items so I have to ignore them and focus on items on high demand as reset scroll and stones and sell them at higher prices to recover my inversion and get eventually the items I want. It is not a coincidence that corals got from 700g to 900g+ and EC from 70-80g to 100g+, they grow nearly by the same percentage.Now you can see people who try to push EC price to 120g and other people buying EC at 110g. I dont know how will recolection tools, glyphs and other racial craft will react to 120g EC or how other F2P player will handle these rises in prices which are way more higher than the amount of gold we can make from lv65 DGNS but what I do know is that with 120 EC I will sell stones at even more higher prices to cut loses .

Wipe stones would make more harm than good, people seem to have forgotten that at the start of cap 60 while EC were 60g and EP was 350 g the 10% stones used to be sold at 1000g +, that was because offer and demand and rich people just competing among themselves to get those stones made the price go that high. If a stone wipe would be implemented then rich people would just wait until awakens get implemented to spend their gold and will compete against each other to upgrade +10 firts rising the prices of stones up to 2 k or more making it really dificult for F2P since they wont have a way to compete against those prices.
  9. I don´t think that Star Diamond Altar has to be blame for this situation, of course it raise the EC price but it was the community who keeped this price long after Diamond Altar was gone. A toxic player base would find new ways to be toxic so even without Diamond altar we would still reach the same situation sooner or later . The EC prices should drop out a little after the Diamon Altar, but they are still rising up, which is funny because a few weeks ago when EC was 60-80g you could get corals on 700g but now with EC at 100g you get them at 900g which is a rise of 25-28% of both products which means that you still get more or less the same amount of stones now than before from cash and the prices continues to rise but at least for stones the ratio is still the same. This situation heavely hurts F2P since they now have to spend 30% more time farming gold (still rising) to get the same items that they get before while cash player still gets the same thing with the same amoung of cash which is really discouraging for new players since they dont have good weapons to sell runs at century or gold saved to buy EC.
  10. I really like this idea it helps people to upgrade and help F2P without making it easy also boosting the economy a little by givin a role to 3 races and givin a new purpuse to the golden matterias from recolection tools.
  11. I agree however most of the suggestions I see on forums just try to make the game more P2W, rigth now cash players want gold for mostly for 3 things: 1. Buy stones. 2.Doing archivements (BP and crafts cost money). 3. Chisels and cosmetics. If you add stones to the cash shop they will be complaining next about chisels only being on altar and then costumes, then on cap 70 or maybe in a few weeks if these changes are implemented and when there are no more archivements they really wont be needing gold at all since they can just cash up everything the game has to offer. Then the gold which is the currency that free players handle would be worthless and free players would just start quitting the game since they don´t have means to cacht up with the rest. On free to play games it is needed somehow of balance between ingame currencies and cash shop items in order to let the game last longer by keeping the population of the server. Most people say than on X or Y server they do this or that and want to implemente those things here but the server conditions are really different, alpaca capsules were implemented on servers which were more than 2 years old as a way to help new player to gear, for example I remember that being implemented in aeria spanish server on cap 70 or 75 were 14 stones were released ( I remember using they to upgrade my awaken set while keeping altars stones for my weapons ). But this server only have months It is still to early at least in my opinion specially since there is not that much content as in awaken server at the current time. I do still think that the way upgrade system it is at the moment need to chance since it is still difficult for free players to gear up but any suggestion should be made with caution to do not make things worse. For example I still think that stones capped by level (like chisels and stardust) should be a somewhat realliable option however if applied it should be on cap 70 with time to the community to manage since applying right now would do more harm than good to the economy since a 180 degree change like that out of nowhere would be really awfu. Also not only cash player are harding stones, some free players too.

  13. I agree with you, however maybe for people doing archivements it could be some kind of annouance specially those who want the dragon mount, but I personally don´t see the need to add those merchands since there are more important issues to attend at the moment.

Thats true and if we add also SS on ep then cash player would not really need gold, they will finish getting the gold for archivements, chisels and cosmetic stuff a few weeks after then they would not need gold at all until next content becomes avaliable then the value of gold inside the game would be worthless and free players won´t have really any way to compete. Before EP was implemeted cash players really needed gold hence they sell stuff they purchase and ingame economy were flowing, If you add SS the ways I have seen suggested there would not be really much need to get gold since almost everything the game has to offer can be archive by cash only. As naru said more or less the samething would happen if they boost the rates in Alpaca Capsules for normal SS, specially if it is done with copper capsules which are way to cheap and easy to get. This game is not perfect, It need changes but this thread started because someone could wait just 3 days to altar to change and get stontes to upgrade, 3 days IS NOT EVEN A 10% of what a free player have to wait and farm gold to upgrade, and most of the suggestions I see only benefits cash player making wider the gap with free players. There are other ways to try to solve the problem like making stones caped by levels are stardust and chisels are making hoarding wothless and lowering the prices making free players able to catch up while at the same time giving cash to the server since cash players would spend cash getting gold to purchase the new stones when they become avaliable. Also with this we could help new players by givin them lower lv stones so they can catch up easier helping the server to be alive more time. The SS purchase with EP could also work on future caps (70 or 75) when the ep lowers its value since many people have just finish archivementes, implementing this could actually help to maintain the ep value making it still atractive to cash players and wont really harm that much free player since its price wont be as high as If it is implemented on this cap. There are a few things I came about if you guys have more ideas please comment them but try to think more about the whole server in general.
