  1. Apparently bosses have a max of -50 phys and -70 ele res that u can debuff them down to... And from descriptions in DS and Abyss about tru resistance, the base must be pretty low to have a parameter set like that. So...is there a general base res for Bosses in organized situations like HoO/Abyss/DS that we can inquire about? The equation I currently have is based on player res interaction A-B=C, C-D=E A is the Boss's base res B is the lowest res a boss can get debuffed to, be it -50 or a set tru resistance value C is the total shred amount required D are the psuedo-perma res debuff procs, including but not limited to HoO Axe, Zarloe, human rdps pierce racial, and various holy/class skills that have duration >= cd E is the amount of shred left that relies on proccing Ideally, I wud want about 1.5-2 E to have a boss completely debuffed in terms of resistance at all times, and any excess item slots shud go into items with more dmg, or perhaps dmg taken debuffs, if any similar to the effects of HoO pike are released in the future. That being said...I have no clue what A is, can I get some help with this plz?
  2. Doudou...gate keeping only hurts the community. I would understand if the argument is "Jordan has too much stuff to do, this isnt a priority", but "I alrdy suffered thru it, so u have to suffer thru the same thing as I did", is a terrible, terrible mindset. Personally, no matter how anyone buffs rates, mine will suck, so this doesnt concern me in the slightest. Im still wondering why it takes me 40 active hours of breaking Jars/Chests in Decay Swamp on the left side just to get a Dementor bp duplicate, while some ppl have all 4 zone jar bps in less than 6 hrs.
  3. I counted In-Combat-Rev as a Healing utility so I included BP in the pvp section, ppl just use BP > Druid cuz rev CD and more dots/shred.
  4. The issue with using LW in HoO, is that it is still not better. I prefer using Adju on Phantom/Cale/Alice/Phoenix, becuz adju is the only class that gives a neutral debuff that helps pdps, meanwhile u have 5x hp in HoO, so u can just put on the awkn guitar and spam mainly debuff/cleanse with only the occasional heal. This applies even to Karen since a good pt will be able to cc her consistently, and a not-so-good pt will struggle to deal dmg far more than they are concerned with bp, so a strong pt can use either adju/TM (maybe even adju better), and a weak pt will need TM just to kill the tigers fast enuf anyway. And yes, TM is good for most other bosses, as long as ur dps knows to stand on top of u, so u can use Cure spam to keep the totem alive to maintain the Surge buff, for its full duration, instead of having the totem being obliterated by some bosses 5 seconds in. So with all of that, I now legitimately see no reason to use LW anywhere except maybe Kiriyata in 110T? again, tho, a high dmg pt can just melt her hp bar, and most noob pts dont even know of using LW for Kiri, or survive Kiri as LW. Im cool with not touching this class at all, but there is no scenario where it is competent in PvE, and in large scale PvP (where LW is supposed to be good) u only ever see BP/TM/HS anyway.
  5. Not to mention the hp buff doesnt refresh LOL, it only lets u apply again when the duration of 20 full mins is over, its the only 10+ minutes long duration healer buff that behaves like this. Its holy skill only counters sleep, a debuff that only exists only on necklaces at 1%, since nobody plays Time Mani.
  6. Like Infect said, there should be Class Drop, perhaps corresponding to the classes it was meant to be used by, eg. Fris > Bard/Lumi/Cleric?, Mithos > Hunter/Ranger/Inquis, Oupella > Engi, just stuff like that. Its really absurd that we need more than 4+ chars parking inside the trial with full bag to get WB drops. I really miss the 95 summon mechanic where u can park next to an npc or portal before summoning so that ppl can leave right after the boss died and not risk Item Despawn Timer, not to mention the amount of times the engine itself "you cannot pick others' items" even tho they have clearly alrdy left the dungeon.
  7. you can Shift Left click to hide quests you alrdy acquird but dont want to see/be bothered by (ex. Awaken items quests). As for unacquired, they usually come in brackets, which you can simply left click to hide https://prnt.sc/121osjp.

  9. 1. theres a new map that starts at 106, which giga boosts ur char exp 2. same thing as Shaxia, reps, in fact that was what I immediately thought of after I finished the clone dungeon.
  10. ofc it isnt necessary, remember on Aeria where we dont have this fort bonus and progressed main quest with +3 armor / + 2 weps anyway? (we died a lot in single player modes tho ewe) at worst, u just do 2/2 runs instead of rushing 1/2 for main quest, and you should have enuf scrolls for at least 1 wep/armor set, being level 64 doesnt mean u have to skip the level 56 main quest.

To elaborate on leveling itself, once I stopped camping 115, by using my alt to level my classes, I went up to 120 in the span of less than 12 hours game time, without using any exp cards, only Auric/Iris and things that I target toward class level anyway, and even sporadically leveling myself using a battlemap, that still took less than 6 days. The only part thats hard is pre 80 and even that has been massively boosted, in addition, some quests like the Shaxia repeats have been increased to upwards of 300% of their Aeria counterpart to go from 92 to 93 faster, and new transition maps that go from 93-96, 95-97 etc, and another map trio that unlocks at 106 and boosts u to 115, which is the endgame gear level, no more being stuck at 89 like Aeria. The 1 thing u shud watch for is how giga broken the templar awaken class has been modified in this server, u shud definitely Shaxia repeat Templar to 80, awkn it, and just cruise thru the rest of the main quests with Bloodknight.
  12. ah so its one of those messy math situations, thanks for answering anyway. well, I dont have the set yet so "they should be more than Zigbar" shud suffice for motivation to farm them right now, hopefully my assumption is correct and its a better choice.
  13. Ik Malice is a hidden stat but its shown on Zigbar set, can we get the numbers shown on Casto T/Nasci set? Im assuming all these malice items are +100%, but I need confirmation. (if Casto is really 100% on proc, might be able to get away with +30% patk bonus from sword/rapier while getting a bit more dps for Sakuya)
  14. damn did not expect their Def to be that low... I noticed that def doesnt go below 0 for players so I suppose the same for boss. This also means the 15% def shred necklaces are incredibly weak, if not entirely redundant (zerk+sin+5740 > boss def value), so I dont have to take those anymore. As for the reply to 3, I guess im right in guessing that physical dmg goes thru def first, before calculating phy res. This will greatly help my gear planning, thanks Jordan.
  15. 1. So...about Physical resistance usefulness in PvE... (a) the only obvious ranged mobs are post 75+ maps with bows/guns, so do normal mobs do slash, strike, or simply calculated based on def? (b) boss physical dmg, same issue as above tbh, some bosses have ranged basic atks but i dont feel like they count as pierce dmg? and the skills just say physical dmg with no indicator. (c) and that leads to the final point. as much as I like having every res overcapped, is phys res even a thing for PvE? 2. And theres this thing about Def too, wats the floor/lowest value most bosses can get? 0? wats their dmg reduction cap, I dont think its 55%? (If the flat def on bosses is not high, then it doesnt take much def shred to reach a threshold that drops the reduction to below their cap. But if the reverse were true, like if an enemy has 99999 def, then even an assassins' toggle wud only drop it to 50k, which is still 55% reduction regardless of def shred) 3. I suspect Def only lowers PHYSICAL crit dmg, but is that tru?

In some ways though, if we do hide gear, we punish players who dont have access to a sugar patron like your couple @Infect, especially the ones who are actually playing the game and grinding it. But if we dont hide gear, so many new players will just try to copy pasta as always. Its curious actually, ppl are willing to spend 65k+ for an unawakend 110 set which may not even suit their playstyle becuz agi sets 110 are NT, instead of spending the same gold on ep/wills and just getting 113 orange armor, which is better than 95 awaken and 110 base in almost every way. (Not to mention losing their +14 forts on base 110 if they awaken them, whereas 113 orange has no durability issues and can be used in other ways down the road, and buying another 113 orange set is just like...4~5k gold extra to craft for abyss?) So long as no clear benefit exists for gear hide, I dont think this project will even BE on the backburner.
  17. ye, theres no physical way for me to test heal amounts, But ive done some stuff like tweaking agi/eva certs and seeing it is clearly 1/1, so too is the acc/lck conversion. Sometimes ppl spew regurgitated misinformation so much, I just completely shut down peer. I do agree tho, this is probably not worth the effort, the ppl who care are ppl who generally perform decently and thus do not need it, and the ppl who do need it...well lets just say they get bored with being useless and will probably quit after a month. Edit: ye hiding items would be nice, makes it harder to single out squishy targets in TW/GvG, becuz I primarily play assasin and can pick my targets. removing this safety net makes it more dynamic.
  18. I didnt know the dmg bubble is an issue since even Exe regularly goes to more than 1m+ ezily, so do a lot of other classes like 4T steroids 110T runs. Maybe its just the Elysian map?
  19. btw Jordan, is it possible to patch in text for sub stats like eva/gheal/acc in the character window? Some ppl can see base patk/matk being 5x of str/int and cant put 2 and 2 together, there are conspicracy spreaders flying around telling ppl that Gheal/Eva is 1/3 of their core stats, "thats why gheal/eva is better", despite Xaoc alrdy writing a guide on forums. (ppl dont use forums enuf but thats another problem). There are even those who ask what the Parry stat does, reads the description, then ask if it reduces magic dmg, maybe boldening or Italicizing the text "PHYSICAL" idk. This is a minor thing and we as the community should be dealing with it...but I think writing out parts of the formula in the char screen can sort of do what Rozen is asking here without completely destroying/changing the engine.

  21. HP/MP/ELE res are still listed as Smoldering (110), when it needs Frosted (115) Stat/Phys res are still listed as Frosted (115), when it needs Smoldering (110) either the blueprint description is wrong, or the actual item itself should be fixed to match
  22. thats mostly my response too, I can get behind the dmg nerfs on exe/BM becuz they were simply too strong, but I honestly did not understand why healing on BA, which is highly niche and only good for specific situations, nerfed of all things. Its a holy skill so u either need to fort the holy wep or farm the holy skill to put on 100+ weps, doesnt seem like a lot of reward for the work/resources used. I honestly thought Zerk wud get nerfed by changing Massacre Roar to 1% max hp (how it survives pvp) and toning lifesteal down to 25%, not chipping the dmg away, since lowering dmg doesnt stop it from 2% heal every single target hit by mindweaver in pvp, it just makes pve take longer. Im pretty happy about everything else, its just those 2 things that irk me.
  23. oh I am unfortunately well aware, we are humans and generally dont adapt to changes well at first, its normal. But ye, speaking of bugs, DE still cant remove dragon summons, its definitely something you can put aside, but just to let u know, the issue is still there.
  24. maybe we should down on this and nerf more outliers along with boss max hp so ppl can acutally build variety teams, like a game with 61 classes should have always been. I like the nerfs, even tho my current gear no longer allows me to kill 4T in less than 6 mins with exe 11 bosses then zerk petra.
