    Email Services

Hey all, We apologize for the inconvenience regarding the email services. The issue should now be resolved however, the fix applied may take up to 24 hours to work. If the issue is still present by Monday we will take another look we just need to give it some time first beforehand. Thanks!
  2. I've checked the mail logs for the people reporting issues regarding the emails using the emails they have provided and the return messages are stating things such as inbox is full. Can you double check your inbox is not full and try again for me please?
  3. As far as when this will happen and what will be changed will come in due time. We will ask everyone for their opinions on what should be changed should we decide rebooting is the option we're going for.
  4. It's a fair analysis that in some areas we dropped the ball when it comes to the Classic version we provided everyone. I think in general though it should also speak for itself the fact we're closing in on 3 years since launch. We're not wanting to be one of those servers which just give everything for nothing and we end up with an influx of players for a short period of time. Longevity should always be considered when making decisions and the decisions we made initially we felt protected the reason to continue playing and assist in developing an economy worth being involved in. The reason we're even considering Option 1 is to just give the community a fighting chance for those still interested in playing Classic before you all experience the monetization X-Legend will produce that will make our initial launch appear very appealing all of a sudden. That being said we owe it to our playerbase to give this another go should it be something you all want.
  5. You can purchase PGC via PayPal through Paymentwall. The game is a Faction v Faction based game, it defeats the purpose to prevent Factions from fighting each other when the entire games framework is designed around it. Events are designed to be based around the common players, if there are 100 high levels playing and 10 low levels then the focus will be on the high levels. Vivi no longer has the resources or game resources to continue making more and more events without limiting the game further. We cannot hire more GM's for a game no one wants to play anymore. This also goes towards GS, we choose our GS based on the players in-game. Why? So you can label Vivi and the team behind the custom changes "useless dumb whores" and whatever filth you have next to say because a class is overpowered or overplayed. We lost one of our best GS' because of the amount of abuse he received and the entire balance you're now saying is good (irony) was bad back then. We have the last version of Aeria, so the feature is there. See Point 7. What like? MMOByte?.... Whilst I always appreciate feedback and suggestions, I believe when it comes to Scarlet Blade it's a case of "shooting yourself in the foot". We've had some of the best GS' ever in VGN history work on Scarlet Blade and they've been chased away with the amount of harrassment and abuse by players. Vivi does not have the motivation to work on this game any longer because everytime she does she's received with nothing but abuse no matter what she does, she rushed an event patch for you all and yes granted it was a bit buggy it was fixed and operating but all she got was hatred. You speak about custom content, what about the 8 months they all worked on this huge patch to be received with nothing less than a slap in the face and being harrassed every time they logged in-game. The game no longer pays for itself, we keep it here out of respect to those who stuck around. So what donations you think we're making, you're wrong and no cute pets or costumes will fix that. The fire in April caused a lot of damage and we lost a lot of work from a patch that was being worked on, environments which were setup to ease development and research. Granted a lot of it is saved locally but this game isn't an easy game to develop. Every tool we use was developed by us, every new thing we add must also be added assembly level and we've reached a peak where we are going to break the game if we continue. The only way this game would even have a "second chance" and be saved is if the game was brought back to it's vanilla status and returned all the way back to a low level but I will tell you, this work is not worth the efforts. The game even at it's peak only had 140 players ever... it's never been a big game and we have half that now. I swear, you've got this all wrong and no matter how this appears you're going to just assume the worst. You have to look at yourselves as partially to blame, you chased away some of the best minds this game had and now you're demanding what you once had but failed to see.
  6. Eden community have never been very vocal on our forums and it's something we've always tried to push for but never had much luck with. The server is doing very well and is very active.
  7. Pleased to announce the issue has now been fixed.
  8. Sorry about the wait on this, I am having to rebuild some of the patcher stuff and it's taking a little longer since my internet is really bad atm. Once it is all fixed up I'll update this thread. But the issue has been found.
  9. Looking into the issue, think I've figured out what is causing the problem.
  10. Try run the patcher as admin.
  11. You may want to delete everything inside your client folder except the "SBLauncher.exe" then run the patcher again and allow it to fully patch. This more than likely will fix this if you're experiencing this still.
  12. I believe the issue is now fixed. Please let me know if you still experience issues.
  13. There is a private server for this game no?
  14. You can't expect to approach the subject with the cockiness you presented and expect to not be shut down. If you don't wish for "defensive" responses then don't act the big boy.
  15. This is now fixed, you just have to update your patcher and it will assign the correct alias' to the patcher. The issue stems from old alias' being present in the config of the patcher which, is causing the access violation error since they no longer exist. Once the patcher has been patched, restart the patcher and you should no longer experience this error.
  16. Good for you, as are many other people.
  17. Indeed, I didn't feel the need to explain myself or the team's actions. You can see it however way you like but if you truly understood reverse engineering you would know that not everything can be done without issues and constraints within the capabilities of the client itself. Granted it could fix some stuff but some requests that are asked simply cannot be done without the source code due to the programming design of certain areas of the game and how it handles it's data. Ofc we also reverse engineer a lot of stuff, how do you think we could introduce level caps, new items and a lot other features non-existant in the original version? You also need to take a look at the hook we added for the bypass on xigncode, not exactly out the box shit right there but let's continue... You seem to know everything for someone who's accomplished nothing. Saying that, you didn't even know what a private server is... kidding myself here, don't know why I wasted my time lol.
  18. When you say you've developed games, you mean you've gotten some files from a community forum ran them for a while, listened to a few posts where someone done x, y and z and now you're fully qualified to question everyone?
  19. Progression is "action", there are quests, dungeons and gear progression in those levels. If that isn't enough for a new player playing an MMORPG then they picked the wrong game genre. It's not difficult to level past those levels and we provide enough free consumables to help ease that process further. Am I mistaken here? The main problem altogether with MMORPG's these days is there needs to be blow out the water systems and instant gratification on every corner as if participation medals need handing out for every step of the way. This is why we're lost for choice on MMORPG's to play these days isn't it? (sarcastic comment). The one thing that made MMORPG's lasting and fun was the work you had to put into your characters. You appreciated what you did and what you accomplished. Today's audience misses that point and it's expected now to be riddled with content that you will surpass and gladly remind those devs that it is now "useless" or "dead". Kinda passive aggressive comment, more of a rant about the entire scene in general. Please don't assume it's directed at you @Terresa as it isn't, it's just the subject as a whole being someone who loves these kinda games hates what the scene is becoming as a whole. PS: I know I sound like a Boomer right now! haha
  20. Status: ONLINE Servers are now back online, you can now access the server! Mystery Boxes have been updated. Thank you for your patience!

  23. I can speak for Vivi and say she's worked very hard on trying to get this patch done asap. She's as disappointed as everyone else for it to be delayed a couple days. As frustrating as it can be, it's a couple days tops and you will be enjoying the event.
