Lenyu
Hello o/ Back before the awaken patch we had a backflip as a jump that was pretty smooth imo (the current one looks like it have a slight delay for the first and second jump. I really prefer taking the long way than jumping sometimes). I wonder if it's a good idea for everyone (and if it's possible for you guys) to bring it back to the classic server. Here is a footage to see how it was in case someone missed it :
SenorBernd
Old jump was just an animation and not able to get over walls/mountains etc. I mean it would be cool animation wise but i could imagine the programming for jump is a huge spaghetti code as it is if at all, shouldn't have priority in my eyes
VGN GM Jordan Posted April 11, 2020 VGN GM Report Share Posted April 11, 2020 The old jump is all very well until you realise in Eden Peak guild towns you have to walk around all the fences and can't just scale the walls.
Kibo
I really miss that jump to be honest, especially in PvP. The double jump system is so much clunkier
Tyki
About guild town, we just have to right click on NPC to get closer to the npc, or use moving click mouse. I also miss this old jump
VGN GM Jordan Posted April 27, 2020 VGN GM Report Share Posted April 27, 2020 Yes but it takes about 2 seconds to jump over the hills and the fence at the entrance to get what you need done, not 30-60 seconds to auto path to where u need to go.
