madfly pet, difference between quest and starter pack

newbie here - i just wanna get the story straight, because

i've been told too many contradicting things from players.

1.  the quest madfly level caps at 30

2.  the starter pack madfly level caps at 40

3.  no madfly will give you 8000hp bonus when it's 40

4.  events and holiday boxes only drop pet skins, not (chip using) pets.

is all the above correct? or am i being misled while getting at the truth.

3. Right, Madfly never reach same amount of HP of other pets.

4. If you mean "Mistery box", it can give also real pets, it depends on the week.

is there some distinction in the description between

an actual 4000ap base pet and a 3500ap pet skin?

Pet Skins, you right click and apply on actual pets in a similar manner as using a spanner.
