I'm trying to play Scarlet Blade, so I registered and downloaded the launcher, then ran the install executable after extracting the archive. After installation, everything seems fine until I open the launcher, which tells me that the repair process failed after downloading the files from the server. So I click Verify, and it gets stuck on "Downloading and unpacking files" at a rate of 0. Uninstalling and reinstalling the launcher led to the same issue. Is there something I'm doing wrong? Computer information OS: Windows 11 Pro version 10.0.26100 Build 26100 System Model: MS-7C91 System Type: x64-based PC Processor: AMD Ryzen 9 5900X 12-Core Processor, 3701 Mhz Installed Physical Memory: 32 GB Available Physical Memory: 17.4 GB Total Virtual Memory: 38.7 GB Available Virtual Memory: 18.9 GB UPDATE 1: So I used 7Zip to extract instead of the default Windows tool. Running install.exe in Scarlet Blade Vendetta Installation Files gives me a pop-up asking if I want it to make changes to my computer, I click yes, and I get something from my AV saying there's a positive for 'Malware.Sandbox.28' Update 2: I figured it out. Had to turn off my AV software before installing the game and set SB.exe to run in Windows 8 Compatibility Mode. Edited July 2 by KitsuneChnl Fixed the problem. Quote
