Legion Elites spawn rates?

Does anyone know what the legion elite spawn rates and times are for the maps? Trying to collect some of the armor boxes for the orange gear.

Ive waited in areas where the elites spawn for an hour+ and still nothing. Do they spawn at certain times for each exclusive zone or is it random that they spawn within a timer?

For elites to spawn, certain conditions must be met:

 

When you enter a map (for example, Highlands), if no one has killed the previous elite wave, a one-hour countdown will begin to preload on that map from the moment you appear there (but only in the channel you visited).

 

After that, you’re free to do anything else — log off, do PvE, or go to another map. Just make sure to return after 1 hour, and elite waves will start spawning.

 

On the other hand, if someone had already killed the previous elites, you'll have to estimate how many minutes to subtract from that hour, since the elites will spawn earlier due to that player's interference.

 

You can use this same trick with all maps and channels. However, I recommend switching to another channel or map at 6-minute intervals so you have enough time to collect all possible chests from each channel and map. This is the most efficient way to actively farm them.
