VGN GM Jordan Posted May 7 VGN GM Report Posted May 7 Pet Updates With the previous Targeted Resistance patch pets have elevated from an optional damage boost to an almost manditory extension of your character. This was an unintentional effect and we have made some changes to try and help to improve the quality of the game going forward. The changes are experimental and can be tweaked and adjusted based on feedback. The goal of the changes was add party wide worth to pets so that people without pets can still participate while adding room for alternative pets with other skills outside of resistance drops. Pet Resistance Skills We have now split the pet resistance debuffs into two seporate debuffs. The original Targeted Resistance debuff and a Normal Resistance debuff. The Normal Resistance debuff is not unique based on the skill but unique based on the skill category. Ultimate skills have not recieve this change but instead have just become regular party wide debuffs as they where previously. There is 4 new debuffs that are attached across the pet skills: Pet Resistance Drop: Physical & Elemental Resistance -3 pts. Enhanced Pet Resistance Drop: Physical & Elemental Resistance -4 pts. General Pet Resistance Drop: Physical & Elemental Resistance -3 pts. Special Pet Resistance Drop: Physical & Elemental Resistance -2 pts, stacks 3 times. This is to provide more options to up and coming players. In addition to the above change we have also made some minor improvements to the level 130 armor to improve usability of this armor in end game content.
