In your opinion, what is the best class in the game (PVP wise)?

I've played SB on and off since launch and I'm thinking of getting back into the game, I've mainly played Medic because I love healers, but I would love to branch out to another class. 

In your opinion, what is the best class in the game (PVP wise)? Now, I understand there is no "best class" in the game and every class has their use. But in your personal experience, which class would you recommend to own the battlefield?

PU and Whipper are up there with ME support in bigger pvps.  Have a competent SE or two around to flush out the SWs.

Smaller PvPs and 1v1s, SW is up there.

he got a good point but at the end of the day it depends on your own skill level tbh. Whipper is the easisest class to play for sure and can have a big impact. but depending what the pvp looks like its useless af. Punisher is only good with Medic support. In all my years of playing i have seen all kind of combinations that do or do not work. its a matter of what the enemy brings to the table and if what you bring can compete or counter it.

 

in 1v1 for sure Sw is probably the best but there are builds on other classes that completely fuck over SW but you have the risk of losing a lot of other things. the reason why sw is so good is because 1 build works for everything unlike all other classes.

 

the usual statement is SW and WH are the best for ez context and thats probably just the way it is for all the casual plaers out there. Investing more in to the Game is anyway a dumb idea.

There really is no "best" class in SB and really in no game. Often, they each have their own UPs and DOWNs all are needed for different things or different roles. It really comes down to personal preferences. Do you prefer Melee or Ranged? Then you ask do you enjoy more a straight DPS or more a support class, or even some sort of hybrid. 

SB has counter classes so no one class will always beat another class, especially depending on your opponent and their play skill and or skill builds. You could be setup heavy crit for instance, and it be meaningless in a way to the proper defense yet then Chakra decimates that same opponent. It is a guessing game at the end of the day or a learn who you fight the most and setup accordingly, it is also why SB has Gear1 and Gear2 slots so you can easily switch to a different set per need.

So, ask yourself I guess first those questions like melee or ranged. See I play CyberBlade, Sentinel and Medic more that others... I like the hybrid of the CB and ability to in a way morph to what I need or want lol

SW by a long margin, with WH and ME following. SWs have a toxic kit for a MMO game, they have too much dmg, too much tools and basically none counterplay, because the only counterplay you have is build acc/ch acc and they thought a great idea giving this class a smoke which reduces by a fucking lot your ch acc. WH and ME are just great for PvP and that's why they are the second place. Other classes are trash compared to these, then just play these 3 classes.

"Oh, but SW is only good on 1v1"

Bullshit, this class have multiple AOE stuns, her smoke is AOE as well and in the end of the day this game have about 10 ppls playing, then in a lot of scenarios you're playing 1v1

1 vs. 1  no one can beat a full tanky best equipped defender.

But if you want to fight and not just run till you're in a safe spot, probably the best becomes shadow walker.

Oh yeah, a tanky DE is definitely a frustrating match up in 1v1.  At least for me.

lets be honest there is like 2 or 3 good Defender players in this game that actually know what they are doing and how to use the class. Also dont play DE you will be Useless to any Team. DE is Not what it used to be  sadly.

All solid advice in my opinion, love it! Unless you're into farming I'm guessing that you're just looking at one class for now. I'm strictly SW so I wouldn't even bother suggesting that one class would fit anyone else's style over others. Still great advice above though.

Preferred playstyle comes first for me, regardless of class difficulty or current engagement. Not always a team player, me! 😂 Second does indeed come the actual realities of  PvP in-game. Will my preferred playstyle impact play for my faction positively? I like to flip things in battle where I can. Crowd control comes in handy for that, but other times burst damage is called for. Staying alive as long as possible is important too, so it's nice if you can be a bit "slippery"! I've got no problem being in someone's face so melee class for sure. ;')

SW just fits all that for me. It's probably one of two of the most versatile classes to set up skill-wise. My 2 cents.

if it comes to pve it isnt even close. there is one class only and for anyone telling other wise has no idea about the game based on math and  testing. Its punisher by a lot, at least for solo.

All classes are fun to pvp with but sadly there isnt anyone to kill lol

I agree that the Defender as for the tank is the best but if you play SOLO most of the time i like the Whipper built properly and with the combat rank above 'SAGE" . For Ellis and above i like the SW and Cyberdude but they need to be well balance. Before that i find that the PU is a good one to reach that point.

If ur the type that enjoys doing pvpve and prefers to get shit done then u can give DE a try just be mindful of the fact we have the most gear swaps in the game with 2 full sets, 3 lingerie, and 3 extra accessories sets.. if u like to simply get shit done especially pve.

With a good understanding of how the class and resistances functions u can keep up with PU dps (while in your party of course) any day of week and duo the entire game, there is no boss u can't solo rather fast if no one else to join while retaining a solid pvp build.

The class can feel extremely demanding, often with very little margin of error and u do need to be a bit of a masochist to go thru all that, so.... if u like to get things done try DE.
