dreadhavoc
How do I get Scarlet Blade to run on Linux?
DrDieLess
You have to use an emulator to even attempt it. There is no guarantee that any emulator would work however.
TheSquishy
or get widows 10 for free form Microsoft
DrDieLess
@TheSquishyyou're like nearly a year late for that. They stopped giving free last July. You can still get the free upgrade, but you have to have an existing license of Windows to get it.

dreadhavoc
Is not about Microsoft giving Windows for free or not. It's about how bloated and how much resources Windows wastes. Right now I got 8gb ram and 4-5gb (+other resources) are taken just by Windows. My friend with 16gb ram wastes 8gb ram on his windows (the more resources you have the more Windows eats). On Debian I waste just 150mb ram on the window manager.
DrDieLess
@dreadhavoc What drunkness is this? Someone needs lessons on how to properly configure Windows. Mine uses 3.1Gb of ram on a system that has 16Gb of ram. That's also with no page file enabled, cause who needs one when you have that much ram anyways. Regardless, I don't recall anyone running SB on Linux here or even back when it was on Aeria. So you have some research and testing to try and get it to work. My guess is that XignCode3, the anti-cheat system, will have a shit-fit. Let me know how it turns out. I have a Raspberry Pi 3 B+, but haven't tried it yet. Actually I think OTP used to run it on Linux back in the Aeria days using Wine. Didn't run flawlessly, but it worked. mostly

Viper
Yea, I used to play on it on Linux with Wine. However, it stopped working when Aeria made Xigncode mandatory to run the game. I haven't really tried to find a way around it. :s
