    Skills Feedback

This thread is intended for feedback with respect to class skills. Let us know what you think of the skills, points required, interaction with other skills. Don't just give us vague "it needs to be changed", use your words and let us know why and your suggestion on what can be done to try and improve. Couple things. Don't double post, just edit your existing post and add additional thoughts. This will save how many pages of stuff we have to go through.. I cannot stress enough that this thread will stay civil, polite and flame free Also need to point out, don't be commenting on other people's thoughts. Please only post your own feedback and not on other people's. People are entitled to their own opinion on what they think about the current skills.

    BananaNyan's Medic Guide

BananaNyan's Medic Guide~! Hello, I am going to make a guide to be a medic that is rather helpful and very informational. So, let's start explaining the class "Medic". This class is the support class of Scarlet Blade and can be a very difficult class to play for farming. I will post builds from good support to good DPS (Even though DPS is HIGHLY not recommended in PvP!! It's best to use for farming!!) So, let's explain PvP as a medic. A medic is the savior of all classes as their heals are very important for players. I am explaining this because this could be someone's first actual MMORPG. Skills: (Please ignore the attack stats of them as they are bugged.) Damage Skills/DPS Basic Launcher The Basic Auto attack. Can be useful in trying to crit target while kiting. Not needed though if you are not building to battle. Chakra Strike A skill that gives you additional Crit, but not needed at all if you are going to be support. You will not need to put skill points in this skill so you can get another skill. Catastrophic Strike A skill that gives you Ch-ATK damage, not very useful for a medic as Medics are more crit based, but you will need this skill at 2 points so you can get Homing Missile. Homing Missile Homing Missile is not an important skill either unless you want to DPS. You will however need this skill to get a skill that is very important for a medic protection. You will need to put 3 skill points into this skill to get Shock Jock. Shock Jock (STUN) Shock Jock. Now we are getting somewhere. The skill that uses Ch-Gravity. SUPER useful for protection, but you MUST need Ch-Acc if you are going against an opponent with high Ch-EVA as this skill relies on Chakra. This skill isn't a type of skill you just point random points in and move along. This skill is either a Max this skill out or DO NOT put no skill points in it at all. It will be a waste of skill points if you only put two skill points in it. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND YOU GET THIS SKILL! If you choose not to, that will make you more vulnerable to enemies, especially if it's 1 vs 1 and you know you will not win the battle. You can use this skill to stun your opponent and flee! If you believe in your heart that no one can kill you, then be my guest and do not put any skill points in this skill. Blown Away A DPS skill for a medic that is not needed whatsoever for a medic going Support and Support only. It gives both Ch-ATK damage and Crit-ATK damage, so can be useful in PvE, but not in PvP. Atom/Slowing Skills for a Medic! Atomic Launcher (SLOW) Atomic Launcher is an AoE slow that can be very useful to a medic who is trying to slow and enemy, BUT also to catch a SW that could be sneaking around. As it doesn't reduce the opponent's speed by much, it can still help you flee if you invest into speed. This skill is based on Ch-Atomic. If you do not invest in Veil of Detection, I would highly recommend this skill. It's a guessing game type of skill, but if your guess is right, you have a high chance of saving yours and your team's life as SW contain A LOT of CC/AoE disables. Atom Blast (IMMOBILIZE) Atom Blast is also a skill that is based on Ch-Atomic and can be great for stopping an enemy from fleeing from the team. THIS SKILL IS NOT A STUN! Your enemy can still use skills with this debuff on them. So, if you use it on a medic, which I would not recommend unless you saw them eradicate a second before, they can certainly eradicate this skill off themselves and still be able to flee. I would recommend this skill on a PU, especially when they are mech'd up as their stun is SUPER short ranged while in mech. Advanced Atomic Launcher (SLOW) Advanced Atomic Launcher. I do recommend this skill for medics. I do not have this skill as I am doing a different build, but this skill is just like Atomic Launcher, but you can only target one person with it. It is not AoE. This skill can wreck someone's movement speed if combined with a maxed out Atomic Launcher. Ch-Plasma/DoT Damage skill (Completely not recommended.): Greek Fire (DoT) Greek Fire is a DoT skill that is made for medics using Plasma. It's very unnecessary, but if you really feel that it's useful to you, then go for it. Someone said they use it so SW cannot conceal themselves, but at the end of the day, Whippers are the true DoT champions and they should be doing the DoT damage, not the medic. Please do not get this skill. Back Draft (DoT) I said the same thing for Greek Fire and will say for this skill also... IT IS NOT NEEDED. This skill is a DoT skill that is Ch-Plasma and it's literally useless for a medic. A medic, even a DPS medic should not even invest in this skill because medics are more Crit-ATK based and this skill will barely do anything to help in PvP. Avoid getting this skill. Support Skills! (1000% recommended! Even if you are going DPS!) Healer's Kiss This is the most vital Medic Skill. This skill heals your teammates and has the fastest healing cooldown. I recommend you max this out. Veil of Healing Highly 1000% recommended even if you are a DPS Medic. This skill has a higher Heal restoration, but slow cooldown. Be sure you use it in emergencies because if your team is at full HP and you use it, but suddenly a pack of RG come in and almost take out your team, you will be SOL. This is an AoE healing skill vs Healer's Kiss can only target one person. Restoration Restoration is a skill you can only use on yourself. This skill should be used in emergencies only. Do not use this skill if you only lost a little HP. I've seen a lot of medic's do that. Restoration is a skill you should just put one point in or Max it out. It's like Shock Jock. Do not waste your skill points on random skill points on it. Vital Enchantment The HP Booster Skill. This skill maxes your HP by a certain %. This skill is not like SUPER needed, but the more HP someone has the more of a chance they can survive. I recommend you to max it. Especially, if you are stacking up HP like I do, this skill will be vital. Cleansing Heal Cleansing Heal is super DUPER important 40+. This skill gives you HP recovery Rate (Healing HP over time.) This skill also removes debuffs on your team. This is an AoE skill so this effects many others around you, not only one person. This skill needs to be maxed at all costs. Do not just put one point in it. You need it maxed as it's one of the most IMPORTANT skills a medic can have endgame. Do not use this skill if your team is not in complete danger or if they were not having too many debuffs on their toon. This skill should be used if your team is all debuffed/stunned/etc. so they can escape and attack. This skill can be used if Veil of Healing is on cooldown and your team is at critical health status. Eradicate This skill is like Cleansing Heal, just a downgraded version. It does not restore SP nor HP, but it removes Debuffss. Get it. Cleanse has a longer cool down. Shift The skill that helps you flee from your opponent. This skill is very buggy though as sometimes when you try to click the spot you wish to go, it will not react, but this skill is very important to a medic and when it does work, it saves you. This a skill you need to either max or not get at all. I would highly recommend, but if you have Heeled Flair, that could be an exception. Lazarus Blessing This skill revives a dead team mate. If you plan on staying in CG, you will never get to experience this skill. Lazarus blessing is a skill that uses CP to revive a dead team. This can be useful for PvP or extremely strong bosses like Asmo. As a medic, if two of your team mates died, one being another medic and the other being like a Sentinel, I would Revive the dead medic because the revived medic could go and revive the dead sentinel. It's like a train effect. This skill CANNOT be used in Al Kasava and Battlegrounds like Janus, Soccer Pitch, Turnpike, Siren, and Second Ark. It can be used in Nuclear Bunker, Amara, Ellis, Vile, and Nemesis. This skill is also used in Dungeons and any PvE area. Medic Buffs: Heeled Flair Heeled Flair is a buff that only effects the medic. This skill increases move speed of a medic, making them super speedy and great for fleeing. I actually enjoy Heeled Flair and it's great for medics whom do not have Shift. An OP combo is getting shock jock to your enemy, shift, and then heeled flair as you can run away from your enemy, run away fast before your stun cools down on them. Shadowfoil This skill is great for people who have low EVA or Sentinels. Sentinels are the EVA carriers and if you wish them to be able to evade whipper's pull or evade basic attacks, this buff is good. This can go for any class. If the opposing team has a huge whipper problem and you need to evade their pulls, get EVA. I DO NOT recommend getting EVA Jewels as a medic. That will not save you from stuns and debuffs. This skill is also good for players whom are stacking EVA also. Veil of Accuracy Yes, I know I need to max this skill. I do not have all the skill points yet, but Veil Acc. is probably one of the most useful buffs within the Scarlet Blade game, especially if you are stacking Acc. and Ch-Acc. This skill buffs your physical acc. (Good for whippers as they tend to not have the best physical Acc.) and Ch-Acc (Good for stunning players with a high amount of Ch-EVA such as SW). As a medic, I would highly recommend this buff at end game as SW are a problem for us medics as they can cloak and sneak in the backline and attack you while your team is front line.) Veil of Critical The perfect skill for more Crit Attack! This skill can be good for Support and good for DPS medics. This skill increases the crit atk to your teammates and is also can be a great combo with the Sentinel's crit buff they have. So once you see your SE teammate use their crit buff, use yours too and it stacks up the crit atk and crit rate your team will have. This is a skill your should just either put one point in or max out. For support and going HP build, just point one point in it. If you are DPS or not going HP build, you can max it out. Veil of Detection This is a SUPER situational buff and this should be used depending on the SW population. I would not recommend if your opposing team does not have many SW players. Plus, you need to max it because SW conceal can be stronger than this buff. This is a skill that you would not need at all or will need badly. If you are FK, I would not recommend it as RG do not have a huge SW population vs the FK side where we have maybe a more population of this class. This skill can also detect Punishers who conceal, but when a punisher conceals, they cannot move at all or the concealment will be depleted. So, make sure you know the background of the opposing faction before investing in this skill. Veil of Offense A great skill for a DPS/Farming medic. This skill increases your damage. If you are a medic who is full support, I would not really recommend as there could be other skills that those skill points can go into. But, if you want to farm or do more damage, get this skill. Enchanting Projection This is a great skill for medics who go all out for Defensive support. This skill gives a player more Void so, they can aVOID skills from the enemy target and more Ch-EVA which is great for SW and pretty much anyone stacking Ch-EVA. It also gives a bubble around their toon to show that the buff is up. Passive Skills: Speed Mastery This skill can be a situational skill and you do not absolutely need it, but if you wish to be speedier and run faster from enemies, this skill is a great one to get. This skill and Heeled Flair can be combined to where you are super fast. SP (%) Mastery I think these SP masteries are more of a troll than anything. This SP mastery increases your SP by %. You do not need this skill at all. It's super useless. Just buy SP pots. SP Mastery Same with the Natural soul, except this increases it by numbers, not by %. Useless. HP Mastery HP MASTERYYYYY~ This passive increases your HP and if you are stacking HP, I highly recommend maxing this skill out. The more HP you have the more you can live longer. HP is great, especially if your enemy messes up their rotation and can be super useful in Mass PVP.
  3. Brand New to Scarlet Blade so please be gentle, I have now found the Scarlet Blade Simulator from Limeox and was wondering if there is a website where people list their builds PvE / PvP by lvl etc. So far having a blast as a Questor by nature this is a more fun than mindless grind to gain exp. Cheers

    Guides?! What Guides?!

So to everyone who plays the SB, what do you want to know? Check out the Guides forum section for some information. There are plenty of players with vast knowledge of this game that are willing to share. Tell us what you want to see; Gameplay walkthrough, quest help, dungeon run tips, class guides, skill builds, etc. I will make a point to mention that do not be offended if people don't want to share their character builds. Some people have put great effort into their skill/gear selection and the order that they put it in (skill rotation). Something that is not shared lightly. I would suggest that one posts their request in the General Discussion section of the forums. That way we can keep the Guides section cleaner. Nate aka DrDieLess

    Medic Mech Bursting!

Ahh, the art of mech bursting. Many old school SB medics know it, but lots of new players here and it's a good thing to know about. As the name sounds, mech bursting is the art of getting out all your medic mech skills in the time it takes you to be able to change back out of mech mode. When you change into either your mech, or cyberskin, there is a 10 second cooldown before you can change back. During this time, you want to do your mech skills, in this order; 1. Sincere Blessing 2. Clusters, fire off both if you got (referring to Cluster and Cluster 2s, Cluster 2 should be first for the def debuff) or hell, napalm! 3. While Sincere Blessing is still active use your mech attack skills; Veil of Pain > Triple Threat > Violate (in that order) 4. Keep attacking until you have just a moment left before cooldown is done, then fire off a Health Field and get out of mech! Always a good idea to arrange your mech skills in that order too. When you are doing bosses, and no PVP, repeat above steps every time the cooldown on Sincere Blessing is done. During PVP, watch the timing of meching as your healing skills are very limited. Saying that, nothing like jumping into mech and firing off a Sudden Recovery for a quick mass heal. If you are in a team of more than 1 medic, or even if not in a team but more than one medic is around, pay attention to your buffs. Specifically to the Sincere Blessing. Make sure that you either coordinate so that the buffs are not wasted by overlapping. Health Field/Sincere Blessing are not stackable skills. So if two medics throw down Health Fields, you will receive the healing from the stronger of the two skills; ie a L50 uni mech will override a L40 uni mech's Health Field. Same thing applies for Sincere Blessing. If a L50 uni mech has fired it off, and then a lower level fires one off before the L50's buff expires, it will fizzle and be wasted. Likewise if another ME with a L50 uni mech fires one off while the first L50 uni mech's buff timer is still going, it will just reset it, therefore wasting part of it. So please pay attention to what other medics are doing so healing/attack buffs aren't wasted! Nate aka DrDieLess

    Draw In

there any way to enable the skill "drawn in" the yellow classes, zumi race for arenas, territory wars and gvgs?
