  1. Hi guys!

Since this is the month of giving, we would like to host an event that most of you guys might be familiar with. GM Christmas Wish!

    Description

From now (December 7th, 2016), to the end of the month (December 31st, 2016), you may request VGN-Only Items that you would like to have a chance at receiving! You will only get to choose 1 type of item, but depending on said item, you will be able to get more of said item. Asking for more than what was stated or items that we deem may be too much will be denied. We will let you know prior to the end of the event that you will need to change what you have asked for, so don't worry! If you don't tell us and your item(s) was denied/asked to change, then you cannot win.

Items that can be asked for, but not limited to these VGN-Only items range from costumes, mounts, Astral Crystals, Senshi, etc. You will only be able to pick one item, so for example, either 1 Epic-grade costume or, 25 Senshi books of one Senshi of your choice. If you ask for Astral Crystals, the max amount you will get will be 50. Also, items asked MUST have been released in-game or by Grab Bags.

Just a reminder that since this event is specifically for Twin Saga, only Twin Saga-related items will be allowed. You CANNOT get VGN from this event, there is a corresponding event running currently for such.

    Instructions

Firstly, please go here, then come here and fill in what item(s) you would want.  We will remind you if the item or items were denied. If you only submit the entry and not tell us a prize, we WILL NOT pick a prize for you. It's your responsibility to do both requests. As always, we log big events like this, so don't try to use multiple accounts, otherwise you will be banned from any event like this in the future.

The event will close on December 31st, 2016 @ 11:59pm Eastern Standard Time (EST), or 4:59am Coordinated Universal Time (UTC).

The winners will be announced first thing in the morning on January 1st, 2017. So keep your eye out on this thread!

    Winners

There will be two winners for this event. Any person submitting more than once will have their entry tossed and will be banned from future events like this.

I will leave this thread open just in case if you all have any questions to ask me, but please do not go off topic, otherwise your post will be removed and warning points will be issued.

does cocoa have lvl2 book yet ?

Cocoa has one in the files, but it does not work on her, nor does the Blessed Book (which says it works for her but doesn't).

It may be because the later Senshi to be released are already buffed like they are already LV2, so they most likely won't have one, but we have to wait and see.

I believe that the game window on first launch after initial install is 800x600. The amount of initial UI elements is quite alot, and everything is sorta crammed in that tiny-tiny box. After I normally install a game. I like to edit the video options right off the bat, so from that moment on everything from initial character creation, to first jumping into the game is premo-quality and a really great experience.

I found no graphics/options setting at the beginning, and had to go through character creation, and the initial intro/tutorial until I finally got to the main game UI. Then I was able to finally select the graphics option, and proceed. This suggestion is just mainly about my very first impression after a fresh install. Everything does work, and I was able to adjust the settings.......but, It was just a shame that I had to get my first impression with a boxed 800x600, minimal setting view all the way until the end of the first cut-scene in the tutorial.

Maybe I missed an options/setting button in the itty-bitty window on launch. This is just my opinion, and my first impression. :D

    Thank you for your time

You can edit your game's screen resolution and fullscreen in your game folder. Look for client.ini.

OK thanks. I asked myself a question, would it be possible to translate the games in French, given that an official version exists in French?

    Sorry traducteur :/

We probably won't since we've always been English-based.

We are however still working on translating the game into English from Chinese, so expect to see more translations in the future.

  5. If it is your first character then no, you cannot skip.

If you have already seen it on another character on the same account then you can skip.

Dungeon cut-scenes can usually be skipped if you've seen them.

Note #2 (EDIT #1): Cocoa does have a LV2, I will check and see if I can translate it.

(EDIT #2): When you attempt to use the Blessed Lv2 Book on Cocoa, you will get a Chinese text popup and it will not consume the book for her. The text basically states that the Senshi cannot exceed LV1, therefore, meaning that Cocoa will not be able to be LV2.

  7. 10/29/16: Added in LV2 Senshi buffs along with potential 5-Star skills. Note: 5-Star skills are NOT possible to obtain yet in this version.

In order to LV2 your Senshi, you will need either their LV2 book (which you can get from their Gift Bags via Bond points) or the Blessed Lv2 Book (Bound). You obtain this from your mainline, and can only get one per account. It lists what Senshi you can use it on.

(EDIT #1): Cocoa as of right now cannot be LV2, and does not have any LV2 stats right now. This may or may not stay like this, as X-L might have only given older Senshi the ability to LV2.

Hi, so as the update completed for Twin Saga, I've tried getting Cocoa (Senshi) on the astral puzzle and translated the passives it gives. As I translated it, it came with Attack, Haste, Attack and Skill damage increase to 12% from 1-star to 4-star passives.

As Yumi stated on a post about "Know your senshi" Guide

    Cocoa should have:

    1-Star: Attack 6%

    2-Star: HP 6%

    3-Star: Attack 7%, Crit-DMG 15%

4-Star: HP 12%, Cocoa acquires the ability "Astral: Black Cat Magic". Additional effect: Skill damage is increased by 14% that lasts 6 seconds.

I just want to know if cocoa really gives haste and not HP and Crit damage or is it a misleading translation.

    Hello!

I actually tested this out for awhile, but the stats on my guide show Cocoa with the correct stats, and that the stats that she currently has on her buffs are incorrect. Those stats are identical to Belle's stats, and we will be translating Senshi stats soon. :)

  9. Do you draw?

I actually used to sketch and doodle a lot during classes in middle/high school, and honestly art was probably one of my more liked classes during then. I do wish I took more art-based classes in high school, like pottery or painting.
If so, what do you like to draw?

I like to draw anything that I'm like inspired to draw at the time. I kinda have artist's block though because I have a hard time deciding what I want to draw lol. I really need to sit down and draw a bit, maybe take a picture and then go from there.
Got some art you wanna post & brag about?

Nope, I'm self-conscience about my drawing skills compared to everyone in this thread q.q
    How about your favorite artist?

    I honestly like paintings done by Van Gogh, especially The Starry Night. And stuff like pottery and sculpture and other types of medium done by artists back in the day. And then there's my friends who are artists and I aspire to be as good at drawing as them but it's probably just a dream. ;w;
What kind of mediums do you prefer? Traditional? CG?

I honestly like painting and using other things such as color/oil pastels (I LOVE PASTELS SO MUCH), and even digital art like tablet drawing. I would much prefer doing other artsy stuff such as Photoshopping, signature making, and even making wallpapers. It just feels more natural to me.

  10. 10/21/16: Added a few more Senshi to the list because I forgot them before..

Note: This next Senshi is in the latest TW patch, but not in our version yet.

    Lovable Mermaid Ariel

  11. The way that Cleric works is that the Heal % you get from the KP affects the heals you do with your ATK, so it's basically just added in when you calculate it out, it's not an actual stat.

Even if it was, we don't have source to actually change anything like that around. :/

  12. I know your frustrated, if you want to leave then feel free. It was nice to have you here.

I know that Bash and Par did not mean to insult you, especially Bash. He was incredibly frustrated with the mass complaints of players complaining about various things, even though he couldn't be around for a lot due to his computer issues. Now, I know that you also are upset and frustrated, but all we have ever asked is to be patient with Bash during this issue. Trust me, I know you and many others are frustrated and think that the packs we gave out aren't enough to make up for the lost items/levels/etc. I was going to get in touch with Bash before he put up the pack, but he hasn't been around much. No one's fault really on that.

We appreciate your suggestions, but not all of us appreciate the backlash as well (not saying that you personally brought some in, but people can take criticism differently than others). This month has been VERY difficult on all of us, so we're trying our best to show that we care about all of what has happened with the lag/disconnections/rollbacks/etc. We've all been stressed.

Again, sorry to see you go. Good luck to you.

On the weekdays, Fantasy Star has openings starting at 7pm EST and 11pm EST. On the weekends, there is an additional slot starting at 4pm EST, then 7pm EST, then finally at 11pm EST.

There is no Fantasy Star on Mondays and Tuesdays (Tuesdays and Wednesdays for you I'm going to assume).

  14. Hello there!

I can answer these questions for you just as the other people above has put in their input.

#1. Our server first came around August, so we ALL are still fairly new to the game and getting used to everything. People are probably trying out different servers, jumping back and forth. Yes, we do not have the greater numbers as the other server does, but that doesn't mean we do not have players here. The best way to meet new people in any kind of MMORPG is to join a guild or try to find a party within Trade chat. Maybe you can meet some new friends, too! On weekends is when we usually have a lot of players online due to coming home from school/college/work/etc for the weekend. tl;dr Yes we're small right now, but give this server some time to settle down and all. There are people here right now that you can meet and hang out with, so don't worry if this server is dying.

#2. I simply do not understand why the other server wants to directly sell Senshi contracts and costumes in the item mall, lol. It makes gaining those items easier, and eventually just ruining an economy for costumes. Sure, the newly-released costumes could go for something, but everything else would be dirt cheap. By the time that you go through and put a whole bunch of costumes in shop(s) and Astral Puzzle, you'd have nothing left that would be worth a lot except for newly-released costumes or custom-content based costumes (which they don't have). To top it all off, you can farm costumes just fine on our server, for example, farming Loyalty Training Grounds can give you a possibility of spawning a boss which will drop a couple of Tropical Swimsuit pieces for females. There's more than that but that's just an example. I honestly think we did pretty good with our Mystery Boxes and our current Item Mall setup: the boxes' rates have been adjusted along with the items inside of it, so even if you do not get something good, you can get some kind of item to help you in some way. tl;dr Putting cosmetics/mounts/etc in directly is stupid and makes getting those things easier than what they need to be. You can farm and benefit from getting gold/LP/etc and get a costume, so that you can at least gain their stats. Boxes has been fixed so that you can at least get a better chance at a rare item, and a 100% guarantee of getting a useful consumable item(s).

#3. It's sad they would stoop so low as to talk about VGN's "history", when they haven't had such a good rep themselves. As Par has said, we've hosted many games over the years, and they have closed due to lack of players/staff/money/etc. Not because we close games willy nilly. They are rumors, and should be treated as such. tl;dr This is just a rumor, literally just ignore them. Most MMO's do no last forever, and eventually have to shut down, unfortunately.

#4. As for buggy content, X-Legend games are fairly good at not having fairly to any bugged content, and if they do, they are patched fairly quickly. For our version of Twin Saga, we do not have any bugs known to this date, but if we do, we will fix it as soon as we can. As for anything else in-game, we are hard at work translating out the rest of the game so that playing through can be a bit easier for everyone. We did have rollbacks, but Bash has updated his machines, so we shouldn't have any major issues like this anymore, hopefully. He will keep an eye out for the rest of today and do backups every hour just incase. tl;dr No buggy content to my knowledge, we are translating the game so some things are in Chinese still. The rollbacks we did have were out of our control and we could do nothing about it, but Bash will be watching the server all day, just incase.

As for your last question, if you want to see if the name you want is taken, try making a character and see if the name is available. Usually if it isn't either it was taken or it was over a specific level (I believe it's 12) and cannot be taken again until after a couple months or so. However, Bash has been working on name changes for another X-Legend game (Eden Eternal), so hopefully if it works over there, it can and should work here as well. There is no ETA as to when it will be available, though. tl;dr Just try to take the name and see, I would suggest planning a couple of backup names to be safe. Bash is working on name change to be available at a later date, so just be patient with us, and if you don't like your name, change it then when it's available.

I hope this answers most of your questions, if you have any more questions, please feel free to comment back on this topic, or send in a ticket if it's a more serious issue (account/password recovery, AP issue, etc).

I guess you don't know, but you can get 3x loot even if you don't use these items.

You asked if the badges and charms work, so why would I not use them?

I'm not here to argue with you, I'm here to answer your question(s). I don't see why you don't believe me, and want to fight against everything I say. I'm here to help you, I have given you an answer, I tested out which specific item(s) you wanted to be tested out, and I've given you a response.

There is nothing wrong with Loot Charms or Lucky/Advanced Lucky Badges. This is the only complaint about charms/badges I've seen, in-game and on forums. No one is asking you to buy that many charms and badges, they would have been removed already if they don't work (and I'm sure many players would have come and told us about this prior).

Since this thread has already been answered (and apparently hijacked before), I'm closing the thread.

  16. 18 minutes ago, HappyMeaLx said:

    Hi Yumi,

First how long did you test them?

Second as I said above more than 380 so am I just unlucky?

Third, can you make a video about it?

I should at least get one decent item if I used 380 charms right but this is a joke.

Here we go again your words against me playing in game buying them and testing them if you can make a proof about it then please do so.

I'm not trying to say the exact opposite against you, first of.

When I go test them, I go into dungeons, pop on all of the badges and a loot charm, and go from there. Sometimes I manage to get something good (like an orange material drop) and other times I just get a bunch of blue chests. Like you said, you might just be unlucky.

My internet is garbage, you'd be waiting for an uploaded video for 6+ hours, lol.

If you don't believe me that's your choice, but I always test out issues that people complain about and I'm telling you right now that loot % just increases the chance of you getting something good, not that you will get something good from bosses. Loot charms only increase the # of drops you get depending on if you use Loot Charm I or Loot Charm III. If you don't believe me, ask your fellow peers or guildmates, perhaps.
