So, today something magical happened. I spend all my money on a single craft, a quest item for the 70 Awaken Lumi set (Awaken Totem Crystal), because of the stupid 1000% tax in 911, which town has the only lv.9 Magic Pool. While it was a major oversight on my part (and I fully understand that), it "felt" like being scammed. I stared at my remaining 89g in awe. At first, that something like this could happen, but also that it hasn't happened before. It was only a matter of time. Let me be clear. I don't want the players from 911 to feel responsible for a mistake I made. It was my fault for not checking the tax, and the whole transaction was legitimate. But this will happen again to someone else, and that's what I have a problem with. The way I see it, there are two ways to solve it. 1. Reduce somewhat the requirements for other guilds to reach lv.9. This has the obvious consequence to make 911 members (rightfully) feel that this undermines their efforts to level up their guild. But, on the other hand, will give players alternatives to do their crafts and not lose all their money. 2. Trust 911 with the charity of their hearts to either (a) Warn new players that "1000% tax is a thing, u guys." or (b) don't take the crafting orders of a whole server hostage. Thankfully, it's not my decision. I'm not a GM. Thankfully, it's not even my problem anymore. I'm leaving this boat, I'm sick of this ride. Losing all my gold on an accident was not the whole reason, but it was the last drop. Playing the game felt like a job for the past two weeks, and now is not even a satisfying one. R: No. As I said, it was my fault for crafting it without checking the tax. Besides, the refund money would have to come from players and not the guild funds (where mine went). That would be incredibly unfair to them. Are you playing Awaken? R: I don't play a server with Mimics in it. Can I have your items? R: Well, we all know what happened to my gold (lol).
