  1. from where we’re going it’s Gunn’s have to be a blend of both or it won’t work, Altho leaning more on the original versions calculations. Yes there are actually good improvements we will prob have to keep. Something do need buffs /nerfs/fixes from 54 version. I’ll just say it will be a lot easier to fix going back to original sb because the calculation that Luna and I have been trying to fix just have exponentially made it hard to balance. It is not 100% going back because of state of game and content we have. @Joelvtx dots are one of those things it will be stronger than 54s calcs but cheaper than now. Another thing to keep may be certain classes passives. 
     

    not sure on anything yet tho. I am not able to start anything skill wise until Vivi can finish putting the old version in test. We are working on the rest of the patch tho. 

  2. Mmm no plenty of good sws changed classes at the current cap.  Its very restrictive especially if they need to farm TT. Their is little room to move between passive conceal, smoke screen, dmg. Wheras before on aeria sw had some good room to choose what they want. Currently most as builds are almost identical. 
     

    With calculation sw is one of the weaker dps. These debuffs were made because the gear was made weird and didn’t coordinate with other peoples stats and in pvp you can’t always do a rotation and the debuffs are split. . Without the debuffs sw can’t win any high gear vs high gear battles. Everyone is pretty weak on cd defensive wise so that’s not a great argument for me. I’m not talking about the 23m I’m talking about how detect vs conceal was reaching into the high 100s to 200 near the end. Medic destroys any conceal build, it was very common 44-54. 
     

  3. On yeah I barely touched detect lol. I mean we can just use aeria detect again it was just ridiculous trying to understand for most of the player base lmao. 
     

    And yes I agree. The sws have had the short end of the stick for awhile and I get what your saying. I think nemesis is probably like the last time I remember seeing acc/chacc make you lose dps. 

  4. The 54 revert is just putting us back on the sb calculation route. All skills and gear will be updated to reflect 68 cap level of stats. Myself and Luna are very aware of the problems sw face and have no intention of making it a sucky class in the next cap. While we are going back to original sb calculations, we still will have to tweak stats and skills to ensure it works well with the current state of the game. 
     

    The dungeon can also be altered. Will just need to figure out with banana. This also gives us an opportunity to map out the acc/chacc vs eva/cheva. Luna, bikini, and I will need to also relook at detect vs conceal. Not sure if I liked asbs version of detect. It was pretty op. And also their calculations on detect vs conceal was annoying with its high numbers. I prefer limes 0-100 range lol.

    nah this has been on vivis mind for awhile and weve been debating for awhile. this is actually more overwhelmingly positive so not sure how its a punishment o. o  most people don't like the new skill changes the previous gs did and the ones i implement to offset. i just had a lot more people dm me since that thread was opened and decided with vivi to just go for it. not upset at all. it will also be nice to increase the cap with original sb stuff.

    Hello!

    Myself and the gs team have been listening to all the feedback past year, and player frustration when the skills were first changed a couple years ago with 65 cap. Vivi and I have decided to go forward with reverting to the original Scarlet Blade skill trees at 54 Cap. Nothing else but skill stats will be touched! 

    As you all saw, we wanted to take a different approach through adjusting 2 classes at a time but we feel it is better to go this new(old) route.

    We are also going to be moving forward to 68 Cap. We are saving 69cap for something special for you all :) New zone????? 

    I'm sure you have some questions, let me see if I can answer a few beforehand.

    1) We are reverting to original skills at lvl 54. We are increasing to lvl 68.


    2) Levels 55-68 will be using SBs original incremental calculations for level increase. This means the skills be adjusted to fit into our new content.


    3) Some original skills will need to be slightly altered to fit with current game differences from past SB. Example: Medic probably will need to have some changes in shadowfoil and enchanted projection for 60+ in order to fit the gear that was created for 65 cap. Defensive passives on DE/WH will need adjustments still due to being a bit uselesss on asb.


    4) Current content is unaffected by this change. Nothing else is being reverted to 54 cap. (ie: costumes, bikes, etc)


    5) 55+ Gear will be adjusted to fit with original SB calculations.


    6) Skills will have additional levels. Example: idk the real numbers right now but Healer's Kiss is rank 15 in 54 cap. We will either adjust the levels or decide to add additonal ranks for skill point costs to a possible Healer's Kiss at lvl 68 to be rank 18. (not official numbers)


    7) Cyberblade will not be its original form due to the weird skill tree. Once we have things setup a bit on Test server I will be created a thread for Cyberblade skill tree feedback. You will help with designing the new layout so the class can be more functional.


    8 ) We will post polls on whether or not players want our new skills to be kept or removed. If they are kept they will be adjusted to fit with original sb.


    9) Major 55 Mechs will have some adjustments.


    10) Gear for 68 cap will include all accesory and gear pieces. Yes helm at lvl 68!


    11) after release we will ask for feedback on the skill adjustments added for 55-68 in order to make sure its as close to what people are expecting.


    12) you might not get an event for a little while but I will see if I can put an event at the same time as this patch.

     

    13) Halloween Fix and other bugs/suggestion patch coming this week! 55+ will be given the 2 difficult to find title items via new quest.

     

    14) Please keep in mind this may take a bit of time but should not be as long as it took before hand. Also keep note that I may not be able to provide all stats on release in a google sheet. I have to remake it ;---;

  7. Vivi was out this week so we didn’t do any changes. They should be next week. Includes lingerie and bike and the title items (which will probably just be given via quest)

     

     

    mid air mobs are common in dungeons and aren’t something we can really change. The mob differences are most likely from when banana changed the mobs around in amara do we can try and fix those. 
     

    I do not know why the dungeon stole from you lol. It’s possible you just got a black screen which is a very common bug since aeria started. 
     

    incorrdamage display comes from the workaround Vivi had to do in order to increase level to 65.

    Hello!

    We are going to be working on some changes a few classes at a time.

    • First is Cyberblade and Punisher. Second will be Shadow Walker and Sentinel. Third will be Whipper and Defender. Medic will be last.

    In this thread please post your constructive feedback on these two classes. Provide any alterations, alternative skill trees, change in debuffs, removal of skills, change in AoE sizes or # of target, damage, etc. This can also apply to the major mech, possibly even gear. Keep in mind that skill costs are necessary. CBs design is also a bit more restrictive in skill point usage so be aware of that.

    • I will not tolerate any flaming in this thread. You are being warned ahead of time that I will mute/suspend/ban for anything against our community forum rules.

    You may link to other threads if you have posted there. Please make sure its a direct link to the post in question.

    Receiving information from class mains is helpful but I would also like the point of view of those that go against these classes. Whats too op? Whats too weak? What can be tweaked? How does it interact with other classes?

    There isn't much time left. Have you been able to defeat the Lich? I hope the contamination hasn't spread anywhere...

    The Arkana have been very effective against the Horde and the Flesh Mounds. Please make sure your Arkana wears a hazmat suit when they enter Erebus' lair! They may become corrupted like the others without precautionary measures.

    Sinclair and I are thankful for all your help. We are working on providing you an update for some issues you may be facing with your mission. In the mean time, make sure you are able to collect as much material as you can and eat some candy along the way.

    Don't forget to talk to Marvin for any necessities.  Stay alert for any other updates.
