  1. Dont listen to thehealers, if you're nice and respectful and find a nice and quiet family with likeminded people, you will have a good time.

I've found a nice family early on by asking around, I mostly minded my own business, but I also got help here and there, getting the SP quests done, getting levels. Don't be an asshole demanding things, if someone does something for you it's out of their goodness :)

I think part of the fun of NosTale is also meeting nice people you can have a good chat with. You'll be checking up on each other and helping each other here and there in no time!

  2. The expectations of how much money someone makes are very far apart.

I think the transmog system is a fun cosmetic that doesn't fit with such a commitment, is putting 80% of the cost upfront not enough?

It would be a fun small extra cosmetic feature but then it's not supposed to be used by people who don't want to use 50kk down the line.

  3. If you have to do everything alone it will not be fun, and it will also not be fun to have to rely on others all the time.

Try and find a nice family, go around in nosville and ask some family heads if you can join their family.

There will be some nice and chatty people in there who can help you or give advice on what to do.

  4. I think you should give a greater gold reward for making spider seals so you can keep making them.

Make the materials for Ginseng  and Dark Castra seals available for purchase or create a place to effectively farm them.

That would help new players have a fun and varied way to get reputation among the other methods. Act 2 should start giving out more reputation too.

  5. @Bash

So that was an actual test, I kept getting whispered by a GM Bash and thought how in the hell do they get to use that name and ignored it and just gossiped to my family about it. I didn't report it because the reporting system is too cumbersome. Maybe we could have an ingame inquiry system, just like a family chat maybe for everyone to be in and possibly find someone who can do something about it in the moment and explain in real time.

That's the best idea I have, to have a lower barrier to telling report some quick and easy things, and if people are told in that chat to make a ticket, they're more likely to do that, it just needs a GS to possibly automatically answer, yeah you should make a ticket.

  6. I think bash misinterpreted the spirit of the comment he quoted.

It's sort of boring because a lot of the raid you spend standing and waiting, without feeling like you're making progress at killing the boss.

Erenias are somehow a lot of fun and Zenas too, and all the standard raids, which I think is because of the large map where everyone is running and achieving some sort of goal, and then seeing the boss health bar get reduced. But what sets Erenia and Zenas apart from the rest is that you know you only have to commit to an hour, whereas the other raids you commit to 15 raids and that can take 2:30 hours and that just feels bad I think.

Regarding the raid itself: maybe instead of 7 waves of dodging dragons, you could reduce it and give an active part. maybe a cursed penguin that you have to kill to bring back Pete O Peng, while he shoots dragons at you and you have to dodge the dragon phase.

Or you can continuously attack Pete O Peng while he shoots dragons.

Playing Holy to me has been a lot more active and less boring than pirate because you press the button more often to do something.

  7. I think something nice for SP2 Ninja would be to make the healing skill give a buff for +5 movement speed for 5 seconds

I think most swordie SPs need some sort of low cooldown movement speed button. something with 20 second cooldown.

    Or much more dash skills.

  8. The whole fun of the game is using SP cards, I think there's no point in keeping this limit in the future.

If removing it is too much i think it should be even cheaper than 1k, make it 400 Gold because while levelling you make no money

  9. Remember with trade limit you cant sell the feathers.

I recommend doing spider raid seals and ginseng seals, the map is small, so you can find the timespace easily. And it's 3 timespace stones you enter, so you get about 80k reputation.

Whenever you can afford to do any of them, but unlike when I used to level up it's hard to get the materials and gold.

I think you can only do party timespace, and there are no real fun ways to get the reputation.

You might be able to lead Draco Raids, if you can defeat the quest to get the amulet.

  10. The ways to get reputation in the game right now dont feel natural and everyone who defends it can't properly relate to the problem... because you probably haven't played through it.

At least give Raid Seal Timespace bonus reputation, because they actually are somewhat nice, and are needed. reward it for doing the right thing and afterwards you get a lot of money from the raids too.

  11. I think it's not the length of the raid, and more how monotonous and stretched out it becomes to do 15 raids. I feel like.. you should be able to finish the daily dose of raids within an hour which would feel nice.

Another well known game figured that a match in their game is ideal when it lasts 25 minutes before you get closure.

When I finish the amount of daily raid seals I get it feels like closure, but it feels like it took so long that it doesn't feel good. I think one hour is a good amount of time before you get closure in Nostale.

Maybe break up the tasks just a little bit, if you finish 25 minutes worth of raids, you finish a quest, which then tells you to kill some monsters, and then gives you another set of seals to continue another set of raids.

  12. once you're doing more than a certain damage, AA is better and more comfortable than WK.

    It's good for soloing 6.1.

It has 4 good aoes and 2 useful aoes, and you get a buff with 19% cooldown reduction. The cooldowns of the SP are already low, so you never have to think about which skill you should save.

I recommend using the skill with 60% chance to shock first, and then all other aoes however you want. It makes sure you dont miss most of the enemies.

You need SL stats as high as possible, Enhanced damage and S- %dmg, and most importantly the dagger needs a high base damage, like 820-920 dmg instead of 750-850. not as important is crit chance and crit dmg, but they are a nice bonus

I would go full attack and rest element, but the reverse is also fine i guess.
