Common Issues and Fixes

 


All seemingly common issues that are found both in-game and during installation will be posted here along with there solutions.

 

 

Unable to login/Incorrect Password

 

  • Be sure you are not using uppercase letters in your account name. Any uppercase letters that were used in your account have been forced lowercase.
  • Forum accounts are separate from website accounts. Be sure to make a website account if you haven't already.
  • Make sure your password is 16 characters or less. If it's anymore the server will automatically cut it to 16. 
  • Use the "Recover Account" function on the main website (https://vendettagn.com/)
  • Try logging in again after a 10 minute wait
  • Do not do this multiple times in the 10 minute period. Doing so will give you multiple different passwords

 


Any issue regarding billing


All of the following must be taken up with PGC's costumer support:

  • Not obtaining your PG card
  • Payment taking longer than usual to verify
  • Why payments we denied



Issues that can be brought up in a VGN ticket:

  • Not receiving your VGN after a successful addition of your card.
    • This can also be fixed by relogging first
  • Requests for additional payment methods to be added to PGC can be made either through us (we'll pass it along for you) or through PGC's Support.

 

 

 

"Queen's Launcher has stopped working"


Appears after you hit game start

  • MANUALLY add the game into your anti-virus's and firewall's exception list. Disabling them DOES NOT stop the issue.
  • Run the program as administrator Run in compatibility mode for Windows XP (service pack 3) Redownload the game using a different browser (firefox is good).
  • Include the download link and the installer.exe to your anti-virus's exception list.

 

 

The game is not loading/cannot stay connected (on any windows)/can't show a picture properly (Windows 8+).

 

  • Download the directx9 files from Microsoft here.
  • Follow the steps above listed in the "Queen's Launcher has stopped working"
  • Do a reset of your router and your computer

 

Installation instructions for directx run-times:

  •  When prompted, download the archives to a new folder (can be anywhere, desktop is best)
  • Once it's finished installing in the folder, open the folder and fine the file name "DXSETUP.exe" and run that  
  • Give it time to install  Restart your computer  You can delete the folder of the compressed archives once it's complete

 


I forgot my character's password. How do I reset it?

 

  • Follow the guide listed here.
  • Submit all needed information into a ticket.


If you cannot provide me with the information listed, your character's password will NOT be reset.

 

 

ATL100.DLL Missing/Unable to Find
 
Its recommended that these files are not downloaded from DLL sites unless you are 100% sure they are not infected or could not compromise your computer. Download them at your own risk.

Note: 1 or more of these solutions may help. Not all of them may have to be done

  • Try re-installing Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 Redistributable Package here. If you have 64-bit operating system, check the box for both the x64 and x84 options.
  • Make sure it's not in your recycling bin, if it is, restore it
  • Run an antivirus scan of your system. This checks if a virus is blocking its path Un-install and re-install SBV
  • Check to make sure all drivers are up to date and all updates from Windows are installed. In most Window's update (before Windows 8), they will include a replacement and updated ATL100.DLL file

 

 

d3dx9_43.dll Missing/Unable to Find
 
Its recommended that these files are not downloaded from DLL sites unless you are 100% sure they are not infected or could not compromise your computer. Download them at your own risk. Improperly installing these files may cause damage to your operating system

This error is an error involving DirectX.

Note: 1 or more of these solutions may help. Not all of them may have to be done

  • Download and install Directx End-User Runtimes
    • Close down the game complete and re-start it. It should now run.
  • Make sure it's not in your recycling bin, if it is, restore it
  • Run an antivirus scan of your system. This checks if a virus is blocking its path Un-install and re-install SBV

If you still experience patching issues as of now, go into your root folder and delete the file: "client.version" and re-run the client. This will force it to check and redownload any files on the server's end.

If even after doing this you're still experiencing issues, this would be considered a caching issue with the patcher. Refreshing/clearing out Internet Explorer's browser, doing a disk clean up and a PC reboot should solve this problem.
