  1. In order to use an exclusive only weapon that has been bonded to another character we need "perfumes" that are a shop only item. 2qwot9d.png

    The number of perfume needed changes based on the rarity and the level of the equipment you want to use them on. It will need from 1.000 to 20.000 of golds and the number of perfume showed in the table below.

  2. Shells are very popular in nostale, and are what make an equipment stronger than another one giving them special bonuses.

    What are shells?

    we have 8 kind of different shells, the 4 above are used for armour while the 4 below are used for primary and secondary weapons.

    starting from the left we have half stones, full stones, special stones, pvp stones and perfect stones.

    The most popular one are pvp stones and perfect stones since they can give better stats.

    Where can you find the shells?

    Shells can be found in various ways.

    • They can be found by killing minibosses around maps (the green circle shown in the map) 2vdlb1y.png
    • They can be dropped by frozen land monsters
    • They can be dropped in frozen land raids by monsters
    • They can be found in frozen land raids boxes

    How do you use the shell?

    Well the shell is easy to use, but first of all you have to identify it to give it bonuses. 

    In order to identify a shell you will have to find "rainbow pearls" that can be dropped by frozen land monsters. You will need as many rainbow pearls as it's the rarity of the shell + is level. For example if you have an ancient shell lvl 77 so it's an r5 lvl 77 shell, you will need:

    5 pearls for the rarity level + 7 based on the first number of the level of the shell. So it means you will need 12 pearls to identify the shell;

    To open the identify window you have to left click twice the rainbow pearl and a window like this will pop up RR20.png

    As you can see to identify that shell i need 11 pearls, and i just have to click identify to show the bonuses (i can see the bonuses by right clicking the shell after)

     After this i just need to have the equipment i want to put the shell on, and the shell in my inventory. But be aware of 3 things

    1) the shell level and rarity must be the same or below the equipment i want to put the shell on. It means that if my shell is a legendary level 78 stone, and the equipment i want to put it on is a mysterious level 75 weapon i can't put that shell on.

    2) once i have used a shell on an equipment it can be changed, but i will need an eraser that can be found in raid boxes. If you don't do so and try to remove the shell without using the eraser you will have a 50% chance to fail to put the new shell on.

    3) If Character X uses a shell on an equipment it becomes exclusive for that character only, and in order to give it to another character you will need perfumes, shop only item.

    The letters showed above tells you guys how strong the % of the shell effect will be. It means that if i find a shell that gives resistance against fire, a letter C will mean that the resistance of fire will be of like 3%(example) while a letter A will mean that the resistance of fire will be of like 13% (example). 

    That's why it's very important to upgrade your equipment to the legendary grade, so you can get very unique and strong effect on your weapons!!

  3. One of the most exclusive things that we can find in nostale are the specialist. Each class (warrior, mage and archer) has 8 main specialist.

    In order to upgrade your specialist card you have to go to malcom mix in nosville and choose the 4° option and this windows will pop up skvvpk.png

    1) is the box where you have to drag your specialist card from your inventory to the malcom mix windows;

    2) are the material required to upgrade your card;

    3) are what can happen when you try to upgrade

    • the first option is the succes %, your card will upgrade and the "wings on it will change"
    • the second option is the % of destruction, your card will disappear and you will need a cash item to restore it. In order to prevent destruction you can use card upgrade scroll. Upgrade scroll are cash items or can be found in the bash VGN SHOP, and they are divided in blue (that protect from +1 to +9 specialist) and red (that protect from +10 to +15 specialist). In case your attempt will result in a "fail" the scroll will also protect the "soul" material used
    • the third option is the fail %, your card won't upgrade, all material will disappear but your card won't disappear

    Your specialist can be upgrade up to +15 but in order to do so your card will have to reach different level of job.

    In order to start to upgrade your specialist card you need to level up them to level 21, once a card has reached level job 21 it can be upgraded up to +5.

    Cards who have reached level job 41 can be upgraded up to +9

    Cards who have reached level job 51 can be upgraded up to +15.

    from +1 to +5 you need 200.000 gold and the material needed below, also the % of succes,fail and destruction are showed in the table below:

    what you should also know is that:

    1) wings and green,red and white soul can be dropped by all monster that are in act 2, 3,4 (in raids) 5 and 6.

    2) dragon heart, dragon blood and dragon skin are used for 5° 6° 7° 8° specialist upgrade and are  used instead of souls. They can be found in dracos boxes or glacerus boxes.

    3) fullmoon can be found at the custom npc  Bash (VGN SHOP), or in dracos and glacerus boxes and IC (80-99)

  4. One of the most important things in nostale are resistances. In the world of nostale we have 4 kinds of element and they are: water, fire, light and dark. Fire has a bonus damage of 50% on dark, dark has a bonus damage of 50% on water, water has a bonus of 50% on light, light has a bonus of 50% on fire, light and dark have a bonus damage of 200% against each other and water and fire have a bonus of 100% against each other. All element have a bonus of 30% if they are hitting a target that has no element. All bonuses apply if the target has 0 resistance against that element, and the bonus is totaly denied if the target who is receiving the hit has 100% resistance.

    The item that provvide us resistance are shells, bonus effect on equipment, bonus given by specialist,buffs but mainly gauntlets and shoes.

    Gauntlets and shoes can be fused in order to reach an higher % of resistance. In order to fuse them you have to go Malcom mix and, use gold and sand of the dona river. Below there is a table that shows what is needed to fuse gauntlets and shoes:

    It means that if you have a level 5 adventurer shoes(that gives 2% light resistance) that has never been fused (let's call it S0) and you fuse it with another level 5 adventurer shoes (that gives 2% light resistance) that has never been fused (so it's S0), with a 100% you will combine them and obtain a level 5 adventurer shoes S1 that gives 4% light resistance. That said it means that you can fuse up to 7 shoes even if they are not of the same kind!!.

    What you should know is that:

    1) you can't fuse a gauntlet with a shoes.

    2) you don't have to fuse the same kind of gauntlet (example you can fuse a fire resistant gauntlet with a water one, even though it's reccomended to fuse the same kind of resistance in order to get to 100% and to remove the bonus damage done by element difference)

    as you can see from the screen i'm not using the same resistance together, and it's important to know that, the resistance that you put in the first box will be kept as "main resistance" it means that if the second resistance, has some "orange effect"(can be seen by right clicking on it) and defence bonuses, those will be lost and only the orange effect and the defence bonuses of the left one will stay.

    4) orange effect, and defence bonuses don't fuse they remain the same of the "main resistance/left resistance".
