I think everyone should have the same chance in participatiing in events and the fairness.
For me as a european player its comfortable with the times, but as GoddessSand said, there are regions where those spawntimes are very bad for. So if it is possible, i would really appreciate if there will be added a different spawntime for those players, so they can enjoy the event as much as we do.
But there is one thing about the event i dont like that much.
The event is running only or 1 week, and im pretty sure, no one will be able to get 50 of those drag fang items to get the title.
In enocia there are a lot of players participating and im thankful that those high lvl players help us lowbe's to even kill the boss, but i think the drops related to the amount of players who participate, is not really equal. Most people dont get anything from this event, i see it everytime in chat and i think that ruins a lot of fun and motivation to participate.
i dont know how it is in amara tho, since im not a high lvl player, but from what i see in enocia, it is really disappointing related to the drops.
no idea if it would be a good decission to let a few more items drop, but i think there should be a change into this event, cause no one is happy at all. 😞

i dont think that this is the truth. it is your opinion and what you interpret.
EC's are expensive but the reason or this overpricing is the amount of money in the game. Thats why Jordan is taking out the money, so slowly the prices will sink over time.
Its not Jordan who makes the Prices tho, its the community ingame.
But yeah i know there are always cashers, in every game, but they are necessary to keep games alive tho.

And 5k are not that much to farm tbh...and i have never heard any complaint about this, since the server opened in April.
So it seems no one else has a problem with those book prices.🤔

Taking gold out of the game happens in EVERY mmo, cause its necessary!
Jordans explanation is easy to understand and yeah, i actually think its a good way to take out the gold.

You can make so much gold so easy on the awaken server, i dont know what your problem is with the prices of the books.
The Server rates are so high, related to money making things, that the vgn staff has to take out gold of the game in any way, otherwise the game would be just flooded with too much ingame money which would make things worse.
i guess no matter what the vgn staff is doing, someone always keeps crying.

Normally the overlay map should open/close by pressing N.
Dont open the big map with M, while pressing N. Close the big map and try to press N, otherwise you may have switched off the Interface?
If so, go to the same tabs and scroll down a bit to "hide interface". There you can see or setup a shortcut.

You can check your ingame Shortcuts in the Option Menue.
Click on the Option icon at the right bottom corner or click ESC on your keyboard.
Open the Option Menue, go to Shortcuts Tab and there you click on Interface Tab below.
On the left side of this Tab, you can see " Map" which uses the shortcutke M, and the "Overlay Map" which uses the Shortcutkey N.
The Overlay Map is the Minimap on your Screen while you play.
If you have no Shortcutkey to open/close the Overlaymap, you can setup a specific key, any key you want.
Just click into the empty Space next to the Word "Overlay Map" and write any Letter you want into it, then go to the bottom of that window and click "apply to account" or "apply to character".

Sorry but thats not true. Actually the TK Sets are the Sets you use the most, before being able to get a lvl 110 Awa Set.
I wouldnt waste a cent of my ingame money to craft anything else, since the TK Sets are free and good enough to farm anything you need!
You wrote about getting the lv 110 set and i just said that its not worth to spend money to work futher on a lv 110 set after crafting it. You will lose just gold gemming forting and enchanting that set. thats why its simply more worth to work on a lv 100 set if it was free for new players since you will use it for a long time.
Yeah i wrote about the lvl 110 Set because its the AWA Set. Maybe we both got each other wrong, misunderstanding.😕 The lvl 110 Awa Set should be everones focus for getting gear. Thats what i said, and you started to talk about that it is a waste of money, gems, forts and stuff. Dude idk for how long you play that game, but that is something you should know, if you are interested in endgame content.
Fact is, no one needs unnecessary lvl 100 Sets added into the game, cause TK Sets are scaling until lvl 100. And after that you focus on your Awa Set anyways.
The other thing is Jordan and i know thats a community thing but still fact. Newbies dont get alot of help to get their gear fast enough, majority of the geared players are aven mains xd . And there are also not alot of ppl like me with patient to carry noobs for hours in a trial party. And honestly im getting tired too since i really dont want to play the whole day but sometime it takes unfortunalty few hours to be done with something cuz of the lack of gear.... not even medium geared just fully useless
Thats exactly what Jordan and i are talking about! Newbies just cant wait to get their shit together they just wanna rush and are in a hurry, thinking to get everything they need within a few days or maybe 2 weeks or whatever. But thats not the case. This game is made for people to farm their shit together to craft what they want and need! Thats the Sense of this game! Not getting everything in a short time. People have to start to understand this.
And i saw a lot of people helping, even with the World Bosses like Harpie etc, when they ask in world/peerchat.
I got help too, when i asked tons of questions in peer chat, people straight whispered me and helped me a lot, even before i found a guild. And the Guildies are really helpful aswell, so i cant agree if you say that newbies dont get that much help, they just have to be more patient to get their shit together ingame.
When im ready to run everything possible, i will start to help Newbies more often aswell with that kind of stuff, atm im still farming my shit to finish my gear.
Just from leveling up a new character , will get you something around 10-15 k gold, you dont need to spend anything from it, maybe some bags for your inventory but nothing else, because everything you need , you just get for free.
And in Fallmyst there are Rep Quests, where you can farm lots of money + leveling your classes fast, getting achievements for it. If you use your money wisely, you can get your set pretty easy.
As i already said, i dont see a problem to catch up to others. You just have to be patient and stop expecting everything will be done in a few days as a newbe.
So you see, its a community issue, not a content one, cause its the way people think...

Idk what you are talking about dude, but awaken sets are lvl 110 sets, not lvl 100. Weapons are lvl 100.

As Jordan said, those TK 90 Sets scale up to lvl 100 so what differene would it make to add extra lvl 100 sets, if the stats would be the same as TK 90 sets? Giving more items for free wont help them survive trials or anything else.
Actually it is so easy to get geared, ofc it will take a bit time, but if you keep your focus on your wanted gear, its absolutely possible to get it. I made my way with the free accessories and trophies, Tk set and weapons, idk whats the problem. Ofc i cant do trials yet but thats why you should lay your focus on farming money, and there are a lot of ways to do that, so its not hard at all to get money for your gear. And if you finally get your gear, you will be able to start doing trials and stuff. I dont know, maybe its just me, but actually i like the way, how you have to work for your gear first, before you can do higher lvl stuff by yourself.
And im more happy about getting my set because i worked hard for it, i just done it by myself, than getting all the free things thrown after me, so i have nothing to do ingame and can just sit on my lazy ass and getting bored.
I dont see a problem in catching up with others. Its just a question of time, until you get your gear. Ofc you have to spend time to farm stuff etc, thats the way, and farming with normal TK sets is possible. So i dont see the problem tbh.

Ive played this game a long time before i took a break and then came back. Lots of updates happened inbetween with new content and stuff, but my new char that i created is like a month old and i leveled up all the way to my current lvl 117 with only TK 80 Set +14 and lvl 80 +14 weapons.
Ofc you cant straight do all the latest content, thats actually the sense of the game, to do some work before being able to join the lategame content.
And its not that hard to get the 110 gold sets at all. As i said my char is like a month old and im close to get my gold 110 set and no, im not playing 24/7 so its absolutely possible to do.
A lot of people just want to get to lategame fast, which is not the sense of a long running mmo , as Jordan said, its content from about 10 years. You have to spend some time to get to where you wanna be, like everyone else does.
They already made this game too easy even for newbe's, you get tons of free stuff as Jordan mentioned, free Starter Packs, free tk sets, free weapons, free upgrades to +10/+14 with 4 extra scrolls which are not hard to get at all, free accessories/trophies, and all the free EC's in the lvl up boxes, which you can use on the eden altar to get scrolls and other useful stuff, some even are lucky enough to get some good items from those altars to sell for lots of money, and use it wisely to get their gear.
I dont see any problems with those things.
Thats not a content issue, its just that people start a new char on a 10 year old game and expecting to be able to do all the lategame content in a few days, which is not the sense of an mmo.

Actually i dont have blackscreens or things not moving, but the game became kinda laggy since last maint. Its not that much, for me at least but there is a difference u can feel while playing. 😕

And as i said, Twin Saga was NOT successful as a game on any server. Not on the official and not on any private server!
Ive played that game since official open beta and i remember all the ups and downs of the game until it got shutdown.
As already mentioned even .to P Server is lacking of players there and its not because the game "suck" at .to.
And if you know that Bash has rl probs/health probs, Vivi is busy and probably dont have the time aswell and Jordan is already managing 2 Games, do you really think Jordan wants to manage a 3rd game and sacrificing even more of his private time?
I know there are some other people who want games back or even new games here on vgn. I asked like 2 years ago for a game to be hosted by vgn and had a lot of people who voted yes in the poll i made, but still the answer was the same. No capacity, no time etc. And i accepted that, so i dont know why you guys cant accept a simple no that was given 3 times already and why you keep bothering the vgn staff over and over again, like they have nothing else to do than explaining again and again why they wont do it.
And dont tell me to to say nothing if i dont have anything nice to say, specially since its an public forums. i just say how it is and you guys maybe give some rest to the vgn staff from all those begging threads, since they already work off their asses to run 3 games for the community. A little bit of gratitude for what they do would be appreciated.
Whatever, its up to the vgn staff and what they decide.

I loved those games aswell and played them on official and other p-servers, and i think having another game at vgn again would be nice and kind of variety, but cant you guys just accept a no, since the no was told by Bash like 3 times?
The vgn staff got real lifes too, and to keep the current games alive, the already sacrifice their own free time.
Also Twin Saga wasnt that much successful, not as official version and not as p-server version. Even the .to server has lack of players, and to open 2. Twin Saga server here on vgn again, wont make sense at all.
It probably would cost more free time of the vgn staff, work and hard nerves, than the game is even worth it.
Bash already said he cant run another game, because of his real life and health problems, which is absolutely understandable and should be respected.
RL and Health first!
I dont know about @Jordan and @Vivi, maybe they can make a statement here for you, and those posts will have an end. it is really getting annoying, to see people cant stop bothering with those Threads.

I googled but didnt really find anything usefull so far.

its because official servers are capable of balancing & manipulating the "want & needs" of a players. Humans are naturally not repulsive to change, so if you slow down, regulate or manipulate this change the can stay much more longer compare to speeding up the change what most typical mistake done by private servers. if these players experience the changes or everything in just a blink of the eye tomorrow they're gone.
Thats maybe something that works on games with high popularity, but SBV's community isnt that big and people already leaving the game for different reasons, but one of those is the long way to lvl up to 59+. Not only beause it takes you ages, also because the level area below 59 is just dead. You literally cant do much except for your daylies. You have no Mainquests to level up, tthose you have at the beginning of each level in Harpy Battle Base, give you around 20%, after that you suffer to level up the rest of your level by doing daylies. Thats not fun at all. PvP areas, dead. No matter what side you login, RG or FK, you barely see anyone to fight against or with. BG's, dead. No way to enter any of the BG's, since no one registers. Dungeons, in Harpy Battle Base you have such a long boring way to lvl up to 49, to be able to enter the Battleship, before you have only Abyssal Temple, which actually no one really is running, after a few tries, i understand why.
Also this is a private server, not an official server. People are joining private servers because of better exp/drop rates, better loot, custom stuff and the fact that everything goes a little faster and easier than official servers.
And tbh, i dont know any game, that can "balance or manipulate" the players wants and needs. Official Servers are always focused on money making in the first place, not about what players want and need. I have seen a lot of official games, that just got shut down, because the publishers are unable and incompetent, to keep games alive, due to the lack of updates, maintenances and wrong decission making.
So i think, having a private server with something like official rates to slow down things and "balancing/manipulating" the players wants and needs, is just nonsense.If players want to have servers like that, they would have stayed on official servers instead f joining private servers. Players are not here for that kind of stuff. At least not me.

Slowly i think im in a Kindergarden here, seeing new Threads every day full of Shitchat Posts about unnecessary things happening ingame.
Cant you guys just see it in a competetive way, between both factions, instead of pissing off each other every time and ruining the games fun for yourself and others?
The forums look horrible for every newbe or back coming oldbe, if they see all those kindergarden posts and you guys wonder why the community doesnt grow. It keeps players away from the game.
Just stop and start to enjoy the game again and make it a better place for everyone who wants to play it.

I know its an old Thread but since im at the same problem right now, i didnt want to open a new thread.
The main quests only get you to lvl 92 with around 24% exp, and the main class you wanna play to lvl 77. 😞
So hard stuck lvl 92/77, are DoS runs still a thing? and if yes, are there any DoS runners here and what are the prices for runs ?
Any Info would be nice. tyvm 😊

PS: i remember 1 or 2 years back, there was something like an event or so, on the Vivi NPC in Aven, where you could enter a special "room/dungeon" to level up classes, by killing mobs on a level you could choose on the npc inside. Idk what this event was, i barely had time to play at that time, i just tried it once with one of my old chars, before i had to take a break because of real life. sadly the event was gone when i returned. 😥

You cant simply force people to choose only one side of a faction, since it is a basic of the game, that ou can choose whatever faction you want. Its not forbidden to have chars on both faction sides.
As for the IP and MAC adress, there are playing real life couples you know, which share the same IP's and you cant tell them that both of them have to play on one and the same faction with all of their Chars.
I agree that those people should be punished for changing factions just for the loot and imbalancing the game on purpose, cause it ruins the game at all. But forcing people to stick on only one faction is the absolute wrong way.
Even i have Chars on both sides, they are still low tho like lvl 47-49, but i actually did it because i think both factions are nice to play and i like the differences on each side, like the ingame chats and talking to different peoples sometimes while playing. Not everyone who plays on both sides is doing it to ruin the game.
You cant really stop people from going to the opposite faction, even if the Vendetta Staff would stop the Faction Change for a while, people would just start to create new Accounts to play whatever side they want.
I think and i agree with Beau, that GS's should get some ingame rights to kick people from the game, if they notice an abuse of the game in any way.

So since you disagree with almost everything and just keep provoking others with insults, i will just ignore your nonsense.
No one was talking about to get a higher Droprate, but maybe getting a little bit better balance between the different classdrops, so that those Ling's or other gear parts for SE/SW/WH/ME/PU will have the same % chance to drop, like DE and CB.
The market is flooded with DE and CB stuff and really no one buys it, cause almost no one plays these classes.
And if you think that people start to make an alt DE or CB, because the items are cheap, then u are pretty much on the wrong way.
I made both of these classes and i personally do not like them, so why should i play those classes then?!
And i think others feel the same way.
