  1. I know there are a lot of new people that are itching for fighting something much, much larger than yourselves. So here's a post on where all the bosses are! :D

Bosses also have a max level cap, like dungeons, of 10 levels. If anyone goes to a bosses, that they are too high of a level for, you run the change of bugging the boss and no drops will happen. So if you go to Argos, please make sure that you are L43. Widow Maker is L49, and so forth.

  2. So starting at L30+, you have the opportunity to add some additional stats to your gears. These can range from extra HP to extra Crit-Atk damage. At the bottom of this post, I will have a list of all the available randoms and what their max stats are!

Adding randoms to your gears are broken down into two groups; Defensive and offensive. The offensive group is your weapon, gloves and bangle. Defensive is your helm, suit, kneeguards and shoes. For the offensive group, you need the RED hexweaves, for the defensive you need GREEN. For L30-39 gears, the items are called Alpha red/green Hexweaves and number from 1 through 3. You need 1, 2 and 3 in order to make a random attempt.

The random NPCs are in Mereholt, Barbiron, Viledon, Nemesis & Ellis. It costs 1 gold for each attempt. Depending on your luck, you could get a high stat easily or potentially never. That's why they call it random.

For each piece of gear, you are allowed to have two random stats. There is a pull down to change between the two. Always make sure that you are going to do the correct one. To change a stat, just do the random and the old one is overwritten. There is no going back, so if you get that max stat and then bork it, it's gone!

    Available Random Stats

    Red;
    Crit-Atk 120
    Crit-Rate 65
    ACC 0.8%
    Ch-ACC 1%
    PVP Atk 1.2%

    Green:
    HP 70
    Eva 70
    Crit-Eva 50
    Crit-Void 105
    Max SP 50

As a suggestion, for ME/DE/WH/CB/PU; you should only use HP or Crit-Void as green randoms. For SW/SE, i suggest the Eva stat. As a rule of thumb, regardless of what you are trying to go for, start by working your way to at least half the max. Then work to make all your randoms at least that. Then go back and start working on each random close to the highest max. For example, if you are going to HP be happy with a stat in the 30s. Once all are at that point, go back and start working until each stat is above 60hp. If you wanna really be anal, go back again and work for a 65+ number.

You can do the same thing to L40-59 gears, using BETA hexweaves, and same rules apply. The max stats for those are double what the delta gear stats would be. So 70HP turns into 140hp, 120 Crit-Atk turns into 240, and so forth. Both Zeta and Kappa are the same for random stats.

    Gamma stats, for L60+ gears, are a triple what the Alpha stats were; Acc 2.4%, Crit-atk 360, PVP-Atk % 3.6%, Ch-Acc 3%, etc.

Like i said before, you could get an awesome stat right away or it could take you a long time. It's worth it for the additional boost.

May the RNG Gods shine upon you!

  3. Ok, this may sound silly, but there is actually a proper way to grabbing drops that fall from bosses. A lot of people complain that they don't get any drops from bosses, well here is how you do it!

There is no guide to know how what gear will fall where, This is more to get you to be able to pickup whatever drops. When you are attacking a boss, you will notice a large orange circle on the ground. That would be the area that the boss occupies and this is what you base your positioning on. When a boss is about to die, you want to make sure that you are positioned just outside of this orange circle, as all the drops will scatter outside of that area. The default pickup button is "E". You want to mash the shit out that key. It's also a good idea to have the fetch chip equipped on your pet to double your chances. You will have far less success actually clicking on an item to pickup, vs going near it and mashing E. I also like to run in a circle looting as well.

It be can difficult to loot during bosses, but this will greatly increase your chances of getting something. Something is better than nothing! :)

Yes, I know most people know how to loot, but lots don't! :)

  4. A LOT of people in this game don't think twice about this, but having a pet is VERY important in this game.

SB provide a free pet, once you pass level 10, and it's called Madfly. This pet is very limited and should not be used at all, unless you have no other choice (and there are SO many choices). Madfly is limited to a max level of 20, while any other pet will be able to go up to L40.
Beyond the amusing chat that pets provide, as you play, they provide an important role of boosting your stats. As pets level, they provide more HP and SP and also the ability to add pet chips to further enhance your game play. For example, a pet at L30 will give you 3000hp and a pet at L40 will give you an extra 8000hp and 770sp.

This should now be updated to reflect the fact that the NEW Madfly will now provide 3000hp, at level 30. Ideally you want a real pet, but the updated Madfly was provided in an updated starter package and is also given to new toons now.

    How does your pet level?!

Your pet gains experiences while he has been summoned. If you have a pet, but don't summon it, it will not gain any exp. The "Y" button is the default pet window. you can use that to summon, upgrade, feed and check your pet's status. You have the option to have multiple pets, but never do this. concentrate on one pet per character.

While your pet is summoned, it gains exp per 2 mins of play time. This is before an additional boosts that you may have. There is a pet exp boost chip that can add 2 exp for L1. Premium Medallions add 2 exp per tick. There is also pet exp boosting items like a Pet Experience booster that gives +15 exp for 30mins and so forth.

Certain quests can drop pet exp drinks that can give 300/500/1000 exp boosts. When your toon hits L30, you are actually given 4x 4000exp boosters.

Starting in Mereholt, you have access to the lounge, the point of that area is for pet acceleration. There are two areas, the main lounge increases your exp gain by 50% The VIP room (costs 2.5G to access), increases that further to 100% more. That's why you see people in VIP a lot. There is also access through Ellis and Nemesis.

So just to add some additional on to this. When you are in Nemesis L39+, you do receive a bonus of +8 to your pet exp. When you are L50+, you can head on over to Ellis and go for the +12 bonus. When you are Suer, which is L39+, it gives you a +25 bonus.

In the VIP room, you can purchase an item called the Glass of Love. It costs 1g and can only be activated in the lounge/VIP. It adds a +5 exp bonus for 3hrs. A really cheap pet boost, in my opinion!

    Pet Food and loss

Your pet will burn through 4% of it's energy every 5mins. So without any feeding, your pet will last you 2hrs and 5mins before it will run out you and it will disappear. You can feed your pet with pet scraps that give varying amounts of energy. Pet Hacks provide 12hrs of not having to feed your pet. That timer stops when you are logged out. If you have lots of them, keep your pet in the VIP/Lounge while you sleep/work/school, so you level your pet.

    Pet Chips

Every 5th level, you can upgrade your pet and that will open up an additional pet chip slot. Even if you do not have a pet chip to put in, you need to make sure that you upgrade your pet. Otherwise your pet will not gain any additional levels until you do. By the time your pet hits L40, you will have 11 chip slots open. There is a Pet Expansion (IF it becomes available) item that can be purchased with gold or via VGN, that opens an additional pet chip slot. That can be used even at level 1, giving you a max of 12 total pet chips to use.

There are many chips in this game that give you a wide range of skill boosts. The one most people should get is the Fetch chip, that will make your pet pick up all your drops, saving you the trouble of doing it yourself. Other things like SP/CP/HP regeneration chips, Defense, Atk, and a multitude of others are available to buy with gold or VGN. Most Level 1 chips can be purchased through the webstore for 2k VGN each (at the time of this post) Some of the ones to consider buying are CP regen and fetch.

Pet chips can only be changed when your pet is summoned. Unused pet chips go in the AP tab of your inventory, so don't try and drag them to your main inventory window, it won't work :)

Also, when you pet hits that 5th level, make sure that you "upgrade" your pet (in the Pet window) or it will not gain additional exp until that is completed.

    TL:DR version: Get a damn pet! :D

  5. So besides Archeron, there are places in Barbiron that you can go to in order to farm for uni scanners. These are Base (meaning NT) scanners, but FREEEE. They are only from the Rank 3 (or the rank 2 blessed) treasure chests. There are up to 24 chests, between both channels, that you can farm. Your level can be no more than 10 higher than the chest you are farming (so the L33 chest, you can be L42 max, etc) They respawn roughly every 30mins.

This photo shows you all the places they are at!
