  1. I'd like more Safety Stones :) Best to boost the rates in Alpaca Capsules but just for normal SS ofc. I know Jordans sick of hearing this but this would make people stop crying literally instantly and i honestly don't know why it would be so hard to just make them drop more out of the capsules except from maybe people cashing less then?

     

    Btw. i absolutely didn't read this thread at all since i know it'd be a complete waste of time and most people are writing bullshit anyways so yeah owo

    Well likely because nobody ever suggested something like this. 

    I mean i'm not against it but i think theres many things right now that should have high priority(for example Class medals in PvE content)

  3. As we all were able to read in World/Peer this suggestion is based on OPs personal hate on some People.

    Also this topic was discussed in 60 cap already so no need to even open an new Thread about it. They put in the effort of spending thousands of Gold and literal HOURS of time into farming mats(or $$$ but you get the deal) and some entitled people like you think you could tell them how to play the game. Just a huge yikes tbh.

     

    Btw. there are 3 Guilds on lvl 7 already(and OwO will follow tomorrow) now and one of them currently even has 0% taxes so calm the heck down buddy.

    @SenorBernd A lot of people just DCs when theres too many players (see TW), but yeah u can hide all the effects and models at least.

    Now that you say it, you're right. I see many especially BR players that complain about their connection/DCs.

    Thing is, maybe it'll be the total end of the world like people try to describe it here for a little while when everyones going for the new released world bosses/awa drops. I'm almost a 100% certain that for older World Bosses nothing like yall described it will ever happen.

    So here, perfect solution: just keep the currently relevant bosses(Jordan already said this would be ver ylow priority so if at all, this would come like late-ish into 65 cap?) OUT of the tracker. Like in 65 cap just keep Bazuda and Oisadar out and make the tracker only list Gore Render and lesser WBs.

    I mean, if people spam AOE nobody will know who claimed it so if it instantly dies the people spamming just help the one who actually claimed it. That's actually a plus, makes it easier for everyone :D If any1 wants to reset it's either gonna fail because the boss dies too quick or it's blatantly obvious and easy to report.

    No clue what bad computers should have to do with it since you can still spam skills at a certain point even with laggs. Things like turning off animations and players exist. I'm playing on a complete potato too but eden is the last game that will ever lag tbh.

    Also in my example, who are you banning? the afk or the party? If permaban is the answer then rules need to be crystal clear with no chance of mistake.

    Correct me if i'm wrong but isn't the general rule -> first hit = claim = right to kill it? I don't understand how after years of practicing this, this suddenly is unclear to people that play for years @Matt ?

    @Shal well that's easy to answer i guess. If someone tags the mob first, he claims it. It shouldn't matter if he then waits a min for his people to arrive. You can just go to the other 4 channels and kill them there in the meantime? 

    As i said correct me if i'm wrong but it seems crystal clear to me tbh.

    AOE placing makes Samu runs way more accessable and viable. I never really played SAM in PvP apart fom crystal capping but wouldn't it miss enemies too if it was on-target and they moveed? Or was it a guaranteed hit back then?

  8. So right now people are only against it because they're scared of trolls. Sad to see people have so little trust in each other and the report-system.

    In the end it comes down to "you won't know if it works if you don't try it". Then again it'd be a time effort to program/design such things and even more time to deal with potential report tickets in the future resulting in less other content i guess. So i can understand if it's not happening even tho i still think the reason is very bad.

  9. Ok so you actively go and don't respond to the main point of the suggestion(because you're not a "simpleton" ofc) and instead go ahead and complain about things that got talked about already. 

    Further i think you need to differentiate between games that actually make a use out of world bosses instead of EE where you kill them until you get the trophy and ignore them for the rest of your life(except you wanna tryhard for hero ranking but that's another topic). I never played MS2 so no clue in what way you need the world bosses there but i honestly can't imagine they are as "useless" as here. 

    About your point of asking in peer/guild/whatever: 1. People that farm it actively too wont ever tell you the exact time(if we think like you) 2. everytime i see someone asking i see things like "could have died at X" or "maybe but not sure". Ofc nobody remembers the time because nobody cares except the people farming it.

    Off-Topic: btw you need to learn the difference between being triggered and holding a discussion. Just throwing "haha lol you're so triggered" provocations proof how singleminded you are :)

    Complete bullshit. You say it yourself. People that want things like class drops, higher droprates etc are always the same. And each and every time they post it, they get counter-argumented. You seem unable to read or comprehend the posts of people since literally what OP said was that for example you come from work and it got killed 5 minutes ago. You'll be busy for the next 55 minutes checking if it's up. You need to learn a difference between "making things easy" and Quality of Life. If i were to take a wild guess you'd be one to cry about it first if Eternal Points shop got taken out. That's the same thing, a QoL update.

  12. They originally only come with lvl 80. It's sad because we don't know if classic will ever even get to 80 but we'll have to deal with it :D I'd love to see the smol bears running around too.

    Maybe it'd be possible for Jordan to put them in as an extra stage on 65 already but i see 2 issues

    1. It'd be kinda unfair for other races since they have nothing "extra" 

    2. If there will be a cap 80 some day, frogs will get nothing then.

    I'd rather suggest to make them available through a different way. Maybe for Eternal points, maybe as a trashroll in altar or what i would like most: put them into repeatable quest reward boxes in the new maps with a rather low chance since lets be real apart from a few merchants and alpaca coins, you don't get anything useful out of them.

     

    Believe me, it hurts. I'm a professional frog myself, but the suggestion itself just doesn't really make sense.

    For reference again: OP was talking about Frog lvl 80 Racials -> Muscle Cream, Baby Powder, Teddy Bear Shampoo, Royal Bathsalt, Lavender Perfume, Oak Moss Steroil

  13. I think it's a great and helpful idea, especially for retarded people like me that chose to main a different race after they did all Acheevos on one char x)

    Also a very good QoL change for us working people/people who have less time.

    I just don't really get how it would function? Like have a menu point that shows the current status or a random world shout that says "Mandragora has respawned on this channel"? Maybe i'm too tired right now i can't get a picture into my head right now.

     

    The only downside could be that people get emotional if there are multiple parties going there. Like if Party A and B go there and party A gets first hit, party B may be tempted to try troll/reset/whatever. Tho for that thankfully this server has a very strict no-go rule and i hope if stuff like that happens, people will indeed be punished hard. Let's be real people that do stuff like that should indeed have no right to play since they will do other bad shit in other aspects of the game too.

    TL;DR -> nice idea, maybe troll potential but i'm confident that reports/monitoring will deal good with the badboys

  15. Hello everyone. As mentioned in the classic update thread, the Server could really use some class balancing. I asked around a bit and gathered some opinions from active PvP players. 

    Balancing is a very hard topic itself plus there are some things groundbreaking different to the original classic servers.

    1. We have % system in 60/65 cap which we didn't have on the OG servers. Still we only have 50 resistances. Right now mage classes(funny enough) can get enough resis without sacrificing tons of their important stats. 

    2. Trophysets for resistances, Sage/DK certs are missing so right now we have way to much dmg for way to low counterplay.

    3. Due to % being available, Awa Weapons will need to have their % at 125%(this got mentioned somewhere already but didnt find it right now. They originally were at ~ 115% iirc) 

    Ultimately that leads to the good old topic of mage classes being OP as shit right now. Maybe it's just to early to discuss balance changes. Maybe we will have to sit out the 65 cap and awa weapons to see how directions go but pretty likely nothing will change in general. The core problems explained above will still exist the exact same way.

     

    Now onto the opinions and suggestions i gathered:

    1. % System at the current state of the game was a mistake. There were memes about the % not changing much and it all being about "a few hundred damage in the end" but as we all know by now that's simply false. I could explain this for 2 hours now but i think people that are engaged in the topic get it.

    Best would be to remove it completely again for now or keep it at 110% max. If i got the announcement in classic updates correctly, for the start of 65 cap gold weapons, 110% will be max anyways? So why not just keep it and do awa weapons 115% as it originally was.

    (Now onto actual class changes. Note that these are actually mainly coming from Magic DPS mains, so pls don't think this is PDDs complaining)

    2. Adjusting Magic DPS, mainly:

    -> Nerf damage on Illus Icicle(or adjust Icicle into being doublehit instead of triple hit or add cooldown)

    -> Nerf damage on Mages Snowstorm and/or Fusion Reaction(or lower its range or add cooldown)

    -> Nerf the stun chance on Priests Holy Smite

    -> Buff Warlocks by lowering DMG-Spell Cooldowns

    -> Give Shaman a treatment to be either full DMG or full Heal, right now it's a bad mix between both. An actually good Class depending on nature DMG would be nice.(there already was a thread about reworking shaman so the demand is there)

    3. People say Physical DPS should be fine/get better with the upcoming content and eventual MDPS nerfs, but:

    -> Do not increase Armor to 120% since it'd simply mean a fat PDPS nerf and that'd be just insanely unfair, especially with the current heavy MDPS meta going on. 

    -> Make Tank-Class-Skills(like Warriors Angry Punch for example) usable with 2h-Weapons

    -> Make the AOE skills of Hunter scale on P-ATK instead of M-ATK

    4. General Suggestions not depending on a single class:

    -> Reduce the DMG-Bonus of knockdown to 1,2 from 1,5

    -> Considering the points mentioned at the start, why not find a middle ground about resistances and increase them to 60? That'd be perfectly combinable with weapons maxing out on 110%(if that would happen)

     

    I will repeat myself but pls use your brain when reading this and keep things ON TOPIC(i request right now that any posts that have to do with upgrading stuff/safety stones get deleted pls. We for once need a thread to actually discuss these things. We all know that a +2 blue staff mage/illu is shit too).

    This is by no means a "give or riot", simply just suggestions that were gathered from various people around the Server. If you have any other suggestions FOR CLASS BALANCE, feel free to add them. Also stay out with the "balance changes are not classic", everyone is sick of that meme. As i mentioned at the very start, it'll be very difficult since there are so many systems mixed together and timed differently than it originally was. Some things added earlier like % system, some things non-existent like increased resistances. These are all suggestions for the here and now and current situation. Not how things "should have been if it was classic".

    I don't understand why the NPCs got taken out of guild towns again. For "classic sake"? It's a "meh" argument for me since it's literally just QoL and not changing anything about the game :D I mean i guess most people are using the prime tools from Altar anyways i think but still i feel the point. 

     

    On the 2nd point no clue, i'm booting up the game just fine.

    Well yeah. But 70 cap will take a very long time still. I don't think it'd be too much of an effort to re-change the cooldown when awa-sets hit.
