Too much brightness in Aven during daytime — any fix?

There is a mod that some people have used in the past (I think its called ReShade) that can adjust certain parameters of the game. Unfortunately this would effect all the maps not just Aven. Without hacking (which is against the rules) I do not think theres anything you can do to effect Aven in the day specifically. -

Why Translate Eden Eternal into Portuguese (Client + Server)?

It's not really possible to do server announcements and other sort of globally system wide messages as it would require some more drastic changes on the server side. As for the client itself while it is possible to add support for other languages, there is easily over a million lines of english to be translated to the requested language. Because I personally do not speak the language I cannot do it myself and I'm not about to throw it all into an auto translator and have that be put in the game as that would be of a very poor quality. Which only leaves the option of hiring someone to do it. The community just isn't big enough to be worth doing something like that and even if we did I could never guarantee the quality of such work. Along with the fact that I'm often changing things and would have to throw translation work at people like the night of a patch because when I'm making a patch its very often the case that I'm up all night till release or up late finishing things off or squeezing more stuff in to make things as best I can. If the game was bigger and there was a noticible and significant amount of players requesting it then it would be considered maybe opening an option for community based translations (with no quality guarantee). -
Unfortunately the system is a gamble and you just got the worst outcome. Based on your suggestion there is already an item that would prevent your main pet pray being removed called "Pet Bible". This will prevent the primary pets prays being changed when fusion. However, I think what you mean by your suggestion is one that locks individual slots down and not the whole pets prays which you implied. This wouldn't really be fair to those who have spent money on pets already on a system that already has quite fair rates because you make state that you lost 250k worth of gold. But thats what adds value to people selling and trading these "perfect" pets.

Quality of Life Updates Increased the drop rate of class drops within level 130 trials. Increased the amount of items you can list in a booth from 10 to 28. Updated the PVP ranking rewards to contain level 130 Corona items. Updated the Vendetta Guide Book. Updated all Armor Boxes to list what items they can contain. Changed the crafting time for all guild town blueprints from 5 seconds to 2 seconds. Altar summoning in guild town has been reduced from 5 seconds to 2 seconds. Farming and Mining commisions have been reduced from 30 minutes to 10 minutes. Frostmorn Mountains debuff effect has been significantly reduced. Increased the duration of the Hot Tea buff given within Frostmorn Mountains. Reduced the attack stat of overworld monsters in all maps starting at Whispering Woods and ending at Fallmyst Weald. Back when this content was made BA wasn't even the main class most people played for farming. People used other classes such as Mecha back in those days as back when this content was released there wasn't such a high requirement of everything being optimal and people just generally had more enjoyment to play anything they wanted. Venom was another trophy that was bugged giving more range than it should. If you look at my patch notes that I shared in my first response. All the trophies that had this same issue where mostly kept the same and just the text was updated to +10 from +5. However, just like the sword it was bugged hence why if you used the full setup you've only lost the extra +5 meters the sword was unintentionally giving. Not sure what the sudden hostility is about when I'm trying to explain to you what happened and why things happened. I never had reason to look into it till now because there was a clear discrepancy between the pre-patch and post-patch range and that needed to be investigated. Theres only like 100 buffs in the game that had the potential to be effected by this bug and I manually evaluated each one when the fix was applied with anything effected or adjusted listed on the patch notes.

It was never intended to be that way otherwise I would have wrote it as such when I made it. I also don't place monsters in dungeons based on how classes interact with them, I place them based on how it looks visually. Before the change: Base: 10 Sword: +10 Glyph: +6 Venom Trophy: +10 Total: 36 After the change + fix: Base: 15 Sword: Removed Glyph: +6 Venom Trophy: +10 Total: 31 So its lost 5 range since the updates + fixes which is already more than it should have to be honest but I'm not going to make further adjustments as I think people are still use the class for this purpose. If things change in future I may buff it further but as of the moment a spammable 30+ meter aoe is perfectly fine for farming.

As mentioned in the patch notes There was a massive inconsistency across the game with ranges when they where increased by certain items / buffs. The sword of elegance was one of these bugged items and was giving more range than it should have been giving. As such when added to the base of the spell and removed from the sword is what made this bug noticable and apparent because obviously the numbers matched but the range was slightly smaller. The glyph however, was uneffected by the change as the base of the glyph said 6 meters but was only giving the number 3 meters so there for there was no bug with the glyph. There for since a couple weeks ago there has been a slight loss of range to the spell due to the sword being bugged the whole time giving twice as much range as it stated.

Movement Speed Changes Based on the feedback from the previous update (Patch V128) we have made some further adjustments to the movement speed. We hope this is a step in the right direction to achieve a balanced environment but an enjoyable one for players. The new caps are: World Maps & Dungeons: Caps at 150%. Territory War & Battlegrounds: Caps at 100%. Guild vs Guild & Guild Arena: Caps at 100%. Elysian Island & Temple Arena: Caps at 100%. 3v3 Arena: Caps at 75%. Sakura Island: Caps at 100%. Mounts will still push past these new caps. However, there is still a hard cap at 200% so if you are using a +90% mount at 150% movement speed you will be capped at 200% like before Patch V128. Bug Fixes We have updated Angelic Reward Bag & Demonic Reward Bag to always give parchments x4 that was missed in the last update.

I forgot to respond to this sorry. Ofcourse these changes fall into the scope of secondary changes once you see the result of the primary change. But yes this will obviously be acceptable to do.

1. I'd be surprised how many people actually invested in Move SPD in any significant way. Enchants have practically always been gale since whenever it was added to the game and will probably remain gale after the change. Like I don't really think entire builds have become invalidated overnight. The only investment I actually think may have been hurt are people with Movement Speed pet prays. Which maybe I can look into compensating in some way. 2. None of this is really true to be honest. Palace based on my own run through in terms of the actual running part and not the killing as that is 100% unaffected. Running takes around 26 seconds extra at 100% than 200% (which I can assure you, only the top end players are actually running this at 200% as there are many people who do not get class buffs and are not maxed on achievements and such). So you're looking at just over 5 mins extra running time (could make it an even 10 if you account for excess running for pulling). This has by no means had a significant impact on the actual gold to time ratio this dungeon provides (as it is way too giving and actually causes a lot of the gold inflation you experience as a player). Couple of free EC's are not really positively or negatively impacting the economy. So they're hardly "gutted" and at worst hindered. 3. Pets mentioned above. Zumi Boots mentioned on a previous response. That being said even if nothing was changed about them, they still give stat boost so they're not entirely useless. 4. I'm not sure how people moving a bit slower leaves slower people further behind? If the gap between them is shortened then that brings them forward no? I also do not see how this movement speed change has made the higher movement players squishier? There was no change to durability even with the POD changes the resistances and HP remained so theres nothing making anyone more squishy. 5. I mean can't really say anything to this because yes it is the most visceral change other than maybe going from being one shot to no longer one shot. 6. If you read my last response before posting then you would know it wasn't just a niche problem and it wasn't just solely aimed at PvP. If people aren't willing to compromise and discuss potential numbers and adjustments then I should what? Revert it then never take any step in trying to improve the quality of the game incase of the fear of wrath of the community not agreeing with it even if it is in the best interest of the games health? Or what put it to a vote where in the past people just bombard it with alts to vote and push people who dont play to vote there way and just forget it if its a vote that takes a single % off someone because that will be an instant no from a selection of the community. People hated reflect, I got flack for removing that. People hated GM one shotting people, I got flack for that too. Pretty much everything I do gets some sort of hate from someone so if I'm not allowed to make decisions and people cant come to reasonable suggestions and discussions about options to move forward then why bother doing anything anymore.

Since these reponses are quite similar and seem to cross the same points I'm going to try and anser all 3 together without quoting so if you think I missed something please let me know and I'll try to clarify answer it. I want to start with the big point from the get go. This change although looks very big on the surface, is not that big of a change for most the daily content. So the cap of movement speed before was 200% and unless you have a build with pet prays and trophies that specifically give movement speed bonus instead of damage builds you are not losing 100% of your movement speed like people are acting. Now the big elephant in the room is 2 actual areas of the game that where hurt outside of the intended one of PvP. Farming dungeons (Mainly Palace of course, 75 Trials and maybe Haven of Oblivion if you need it) and Running maps (DV being the latest and greatest). These areas of content you "may" spec more into Movement Speed. Now these where not really intentionally hurt and I am thinking of solutions to compensate for these areas of the game such as bonus movespeed buffs across 0/10s that act the same way mounts do and I would be happy to take peoples thoughts on this so a good balanced solution can be found. Now just to clear things up. Although the change was inspired by PvP it wasn't solely because of PvP that this issue was addressed. It's also been something that has been on the chopping block for around 2 years - 3 years ish (I can't remember the exact time frame now). However, I couldn't really think of the right solution till recently. Let me point out things so that you can understand where I might come from for example. Classes with mounts have no USP because they're not moving any faster than people without them. This change is both in PvP and PvE and it should feel good to use these classes if you want that extra speed. Bosses fights are less engaging when you can zip and zap across the room at a moments notice. Bit of a personal one, I spend a lot of time making these dungeons and putting monsters in places and yet people just blitz past them like they're not there killing the ones that do not reset. Potentially trapping the undergeared players who lose half there movement speed (from the miriad of class buffs you give at the start of a run) as they died at the boss. And ofcourse what was mentioned above. I design content with like sub 50 movement speed in mind. So a lot of the effort in making bosses work and making them have a fight gets washed away because the top end of players who can afford to spec more into movement speed just dodge things with easy while the lower end get told they need more of another stat when they're already lacking in so many. I'm aware about the Zumi boots and I'm thinking of a solution for this. I wont touch on this much as of the moment as I need to have a good think about this. Now I'm open to changes but unless someone gave me something completely compelling that cannot be done without reverting then I think a full on revertion is out of the question. But I'm open to thoughts suggestions what you feel was mostly affected by this change because as of the moment this is the only feedback I've received on this that I dont feel like bashing my head against a wall with. So I thank you for being so pleasant and hopefully we can find the right solution that makes players less upset but also not throw off the game balance like before. Most people just scream and shout at the staff with no regard to us as being human and wonder why we don't listen. --- Seporated as I dont want to go off topic here. Path of Destiny my intentions are clearly highlighted in the Patch Notes and I don't think I have anything to add that would change peoples mind other than if I feel like the change didn't work then I might look into it. It's easy for people to say I'm wrong when those same people I see skipping out PvP events because they dont have time to farm the buffs and not logging in because they're "saving" buffs for CC or something absurd. I'm happy to add another buff or two or re-evaluate the numbers if people feel its necessary.

Game Updates Updated the EE MVP Award & Player of the Month Award to contain Corona's Heartflame Lv130. Increased the Drop Rate of Essences and Trophies in Angelic Temple and Demonic Fortress. Updated the Angelic Gift Bag and Demonic Gift Bag to always give parchments x4. Updated the Max HP of all bosses in Angelic Temple and Demonic Fortress. Spell Range Bug With last weeks update to the Blade Acrobat we noticed an inconsistency between the range a spell should have and the range a spell is getting when modified by a buff that gives spell range +x meters. This was a coding inconsistency affecting spells that are targeted towards a target (target aoe effects) and spells that have no target (self aoe effects). Other types of spells such as ground placement spells, line/cross shaped spells and fan shaped spells where all working as intended. So we have fixed the issue to improve consistency across the game so all the numbers match. As this would affect a number of spells across the game we have gone over each instance in which a spell would have been affected and evaluated if the range should remain, if we should fix the range to the intended range or if we should set it somewhere in the middle. Below is a full break down of everything that has been affected by this change with The original stated value (Stated), The actual value given (Was), The new value (Now). Bug Fixes Fixed an issue where Wyvern Lord was not being automatically unlocked for players from level 110 to level 119. Fixed an issue with Dragon Emperor Leadership not giving mount based movement speed with the class talent Dragon's Leader.

Have you tried deleting the file and then restarting the patcher. Maybe the existing file might be corrupted or something stopping it from being replaced.
