thanks, when vendetta posts about each week's box is there some distinction in the description between an actual 4000ap base pet and a 3500ap pet skin?

newbie here - i just wanna get the story straight because i've been told too many contradicting things from players. 1. the quest madfly level caps at 30 2. the starter pack madfly level caps at 40 3. no madfly will give you 8000hp bonus when it's 40 4. events and holiday boxes only drop pet skins, not (chip using) pets. is all the above correct? or am i being misled while getting at the truth.

thanks for all that, very informative for a newbie 😚 seems if i was running a private server, i'd simply take all these drops out of the game, since they serve absolutely no practical purpose besides wasting our pet's pickup time and cluttering up player packs before they have to town (or destroy) and get rid of it all.

i'm really frustrated i can't google any images of items in this game. can anyone with the "Iceborn Archer" 4000 AP pet - please post a screen of it, preferably close up next to a player so we can also see how it scales? thanks 😘 a guild mate suggested they look like these mobs, i find it hard to believe of all the mobs a private servers could choose they would go with one this butt ugly...

i know some will give me flack for posting this, but here goes; if you spent 100 hours farming something that post update only takes someone 10 hours to farm, it's not like your'e some chinese virtual currency trader that suddenly saw the real money resale value of his inventory lose 90% of it's value. you are a player who we hope enjoyed playing for 100 hours, gained some sense of "virtual" accomplishment by doing it, and hopefully enjoyed a few weeks/months/years with your peers in game "admiring" the fruits of your labor. so veterans already got their satisfaction out of the game, it's just the future satisfaction out of it in game has depreciated a lot faster than maybe they had hoped.

yes norleras, but the smaller the gen pop, the harder it is to get enough on equipped and disciplined enough to do the new harder material. in the early days it tooks minutes for their dungeon ques to automatically join 5 players together (with one tank class, one healer class and three dps), now it can take hours for the later high level dungeons, unless you still have enough actives in your guild that can coordinate and do it privately... which is rare. for some odd reason, the only old timey mmo i know of that's managed to stay active, gradually add content with a decent population without nerfing it's economy every year has been Guild Wars 2.

i don't blame you annie, but i noticed a similar situation in tera online, as the years passed, the hardest gear veterans used to grind later had equals that became quest items or lower boss drops. i got a full top set to +12 twice, before giving up there in disgust. my guess is as years go buy, it becomes more important to hold the interest of new players, rather than keep all the veterans happy 😔 because let's face it, there are plenty of other eye candy mmo's out.

thanks GM, i'm sure you have higher priorities than this, but remain sympathetic to the issue. if a player reading this has any decent in game screenshot with "Coit" and/or "Greyhaze" without any secondary skin on, like does "Coit" walk on his hands or float above the ground. since "Rapture" and "Derpy", then "Elfil" and "Kelpie" appear to be the same from their icons i would be nice to know if there is any behavior, lighting or other differences besides coloring. veteran players re-skin their pets presumably from special event boxes, so it's hard for a newbie to see what base AP pet is laying underneath.

sadly, back in 2016 they used tinypic instead of imgur, so all the photo links expired; so i wanted to see what various base pets (not skins) look like in game i used the shop with 0 VGN and could not preview anything nor add it to the shopping bag. i have not bought anything yet, but is seems you can only do so one item at a time, no "bag". so i figured, OK, maybe it only works if you have a balance, so i donate $30 for 16500 VGN but i still can't preview any of the pets, pet skins, nor player skins... so what gives? 😥 i noticed if you right mouse click the pointer turns into a hand, but it accomplishes nothing. how can you expect us to buy anything if we have no idea what it looks like in game!

(lvl 25 newbie question) i figured out we can sell magic(green) armor and weapon drops to NPC but i can't find which NPC buys all these grey drops or know if i should accumulate them for crafting or some other later purpose. does such an buying NPC for this junk show up at a higher level? also, while i'm here asking... stuff like skill data cards that i already learned i simply "destroy" should i continue to do that? or is there a place to sell them too? if anyone remembers a good faq on what drops we should keep or not or if there's some way to upgrade lowbie potions to higher level ones. (you know, how you get different capacity potions every 5 levels) my inventory keeps filling up with junk i have no idea what to do with.

just started, so please be patient with my ignorance... i got a madfly (Y Pet) from a quest i got a second madfly (AP) from the free starter pack SneakyBoss advised me to buy another pet with AP or Gold i was told freebie pets are lvl.30 limited, while other pets hit 40. he also confirmed that pet chips are transferable to other pets. so my question is this all still accurate information or is there now some difference between the quest and starter pack madfly? while i do plan to donate $30usd, i'm trying to delay this till i'm sure i like this game and want to grind an end game character. that said, what would be wrong with taking either madfly to 30, then transferring any chips i get to an AP acquired pet later?
