Yes I agree with you on this, I just mentioned all that thing about the skill set to point out that the advantage of MDPS over PDPS is way more complex and just using the same equiment won´t help solve the problem. XLegend was aware of this thas why on cap 65 and so on PDPS get a bit better (ranger is some kind of solution to this since it has fear an a single aoe skill with 20 foot that can actually do dmg) so I think something as compromising as nerfing a class should be made after awaken weapons or at cap 70 if it is really needed. Actually I remember one arena where I was with two ilucionist agaist 3 zumi templar, the first two rounds we lose really fast then the two ilu change to warlocks and we won the next 3 rounds quite easily, so basically each class has strong points and weak ones is just that Ilu have a single AOE and really useful debuffs on pvp which can make any party be in trouble that make it more wanted on pvp than warlock even though on single target they do similar amounts of damage. MDPS preffer mage and ilu over warlock since single target is not that useful most of the time on pvp and that is exactly the problem that I see with PDPS is that with any class you are forced to do single target since there are no good aoe skill or aoe debuff and the BD which was suposed to be the AOE PDPS just sucks at pvp for the low range of it skill and lack of any useful debuff. Of course I am not saying that classes like AM or Hunter are bad, actually they are quite good as single target units and can fill important roles on partys as for example cap on crystals, try to kill healers among other things. But on pvp killing multiple enemies at the same time will have a more important role than single target killing, so as long as PDPS does not have some decent AOE skill class the MDPS will continue to take over PDPS on pvp events like TW or GvG.

Actually the mage are op not for the 120% weapons, but instead for their skill set this is why: - Magic AOE skill can make the same damage as a single target skill but on multiple players (usually in other games aoes do less damage than single target skill ) also the area of the aoe is just too big and with good cast spd they can call that skill as many times they want and they can do this from a safe position too since the can choose where they skill will land. This is something that no PDPS can do since usually as PDPS you can´t attack from distance and the clases that can do it only are able to do DMG to single units since they don´t have good aoe skill and to make it worse those PDPS AOE skill have coldown so there is no way to compete against MDPS so you will always have AM, Hunter, Warrior classes killing one or maybe two players with some luck while MDPS can just wipe up entire parties in the same amount of time. -MDPS clases has many debuff that are way to useful in pvp, an ilu for example can use sleep to stop an entire party and even if the miss someone with their skill they can launch it again since it does have any coldown. They can also inflict knockdown to entire parties since the range of their skill have 20 feet and also use fireball to inflict stun to single targets. PDPS in contrast have also debuff but they only work on a single target (excluding warrior fear which has a range of 10 foot still less than 20 foot of MDPS debuff) so here is very difficult to compete against MDPS. So even with the same gear these difference will continue on. However on 120% weapons Jordan said that the 1k atk difference is not that much but I saw that my 119% dagger has only 200 attack less than lv65 100% weapon so that extra 20% is not that negligible as Jordan make it sound.

The problem with eva is that people on cap 60 already have more than 50% crit/ mcrit so you get hit quite often, also debuff like stun or knockdown drops your eva to 0% so trying to get in a good position to hit your opponents with an 100 foot AOE skill that requires you to be in the center of the AOE in a pvp enviroment would likely get you killed pretty fast for the reasons previously stated and also because healing skill won´t reach you if you are too close to the enemy as the AOE skill requires. You could also try to use a shield and become more tankier to resist but it will heavily reduce the DMG you can do and for an AOE of only 10 foot which only will reach a few enemies with a few AOEs of 25 foot (limited by coldown) without any king of useful debuff is not worth. By the way I don´t think that the EVA stat should be modified for now since doing so would make eva focused clases very broken on current caps. So I think that the suggestions I made could help to make BD compete to other clases on a PVE and as hinseo point out they could make BD actually usefull on PVP since with an AOE of a wider range or having less coldown (up to 3 seconds) could compensate the risk of being killed easy by putting yourself on enemy lines.
  4. As many of you know BD cannot compare to mage or ilu on both PVE and PVP which is sad since BD was suposed to be the PDPS specialiced on AOE DMG. This situation is due to the following reasons: 1. To use your AOE skill you have to be in the center of where the enemies are which in PVP is a really bad idea since BD is not a tank class. 2. The only two BD AOE skill (dancing blade and fire dance ) has only 10 feet and 15 feet respectively which is way less than the 20 feet range AOE skill that the MDPS have, making BD less useful than mages on both PVP and PVE. 3. Even if the range of the ´fire dance´ skill can be improve by using glyph, it has a coldown of 6 seconds so you can´t rely on this skill to hit all enemies and since ´dancing blade´ also has 6 seconds of coldown you have to use the common orange aoe skill which again does not have more than 10 foot range. So you cannot compete with a mage with cast speed since he can cast snow storm practicaly endlessly. 4. Not a single skill can do a debuff on your opponent, so in this case you are pretty useless on pvp since there are class like ilu which can cause knock down and sleep on multiple targets on a 20 foot range. To improve the BD I propose to first increase the range of ´dancing blade´ to 20 feets, then reduce the coldown of both dancing blade and fire dance to 3 seconds to avoid relying on the comon orange AOE skill, with these changes I think that BD would be able to compete againts other AOE classes at least on PVE. However on PVP I still haven´t found any goood idea since the ones I have either make BD overpower or just drives to far away from clasic experience and in the future cap levels can become in a source of problems, so if somebody has an idea please write it down so we can discuss it.

I have a human and wanted to make a good thief for cap 65, however I discovered to late that halfking thiefs are way to better than humans due to their passive racial (30% crit rate and eva) and now with to much gold I have invested on legendary archivements I decided to just continue and see how far I can get. I think changing race seems really to difficult both technically and on the game economy, maybe swapping ONLY legendary archivements to a new character could do the trick since the archivements points that you could get from this will be in the future far below to get between the top ten of the rank (were the good rewards are), also giving some kind of cp bonus to help players to recover what they had in their other character could help. Well this is just a suggestion, I dont know if it is worth the trouble to work on this given that there are more important issues to handle at the moment.

Actually my coment about the zumi racial was more focused on 1vs1 arena since if you are a human and want to get some medals from any tank class it is just becomes to much frustrating to get them from an arena full of zumis. With a good strategy you can deal of with them on 3vs3 or 10 vs 10. And contrary to this thread I think MDPS are overpowered, I wouldn´t complay about it since it is kind of funny to deal of with that handicap, as jordan said every class has it counters and playing with them is what makes the class system fun to play .However farming class medals in arena as a PDPS on arenas full of MDPS and zumi templars is too frustrating under the current circumstances.

Please Jordan make medals accesible outside of PvP or lower the price they have, currenly you will either need more than 3000 honor star to buy the medas for your set or try to win around 70-162 arenas to get them which is frustrating either way given the current problems the arena has. Righ now I just gave of on crafting my golden set because is just no funy any more. Now I am doing arena just to past time without worriying about lusing and winning and I am actually having fun, even if my whole team is clean up by rivals MDPS in a few seconds it is fun to take one or two of them before dying. On the other side I am really looking forward to the new Honor Star purchases, hope they get released soon.
  8. I think that zumis should have a just a little longer coldown on their racial skill since in 3vs3 they are overpowered making those arenas a bit frustrating, besides that I agree with tuti let them have fun since they are not really useful in other aspects of pvp.
  9. It is true do something with a blue gear against +10 geared players is really hard and few people are able to do it but this is not the point. He is talking about people that just dont want to gear up or help on arena and just go there to farm coins by staying afk or just doing nothing making it too much frustrating for the players (geared or not) that actually want to play arena. There are even players that go to monster arena and do not even equip the arena weapons. I still think that honor star should be an pvp currency and even if someone dont like pvp very much getting the honor stars for a golden set is doable. However class medals is another story and there should be another way to get them outside of arena since just buying the medals with honor stars cost like 6 times more than the bps of the set .
  10. I still think that war stones is the best option, alpaca coins can be harvest endlessly and cristal cross medals too. In the other hand wars stones are not difficult to get but there is a limit of how many you can get and also have other ways to use them hence the currency will not be that greatly affected and there will be still an incentive to farm class medals from arena. I think that 1 war stone per class medal should be fine.

There are crystal cross medals and alpaca coins that could be used to purchase those clase medals but I prefer war stones since there is some kind of limit of how many you could get on a day (compared to the other 2 currencies) and they are actually used for other things so it would not kill the incentive of the currency.
  12. Class Medals can only be aquiered by arena or honor stars but cost 18 honor stars each one. I think that lowering the cost of class medals or being able to purchase those with another currency could help. Getting them from a lucky bag won´t work since you will end with a lot of class medals that you don´t need and just a few of the ones you acttually want.
