Healer DPS

Hey, I'm new to this game, and I have an unorthodox question:

 

Are any of the Healer classes capable of doing relatively high damage? If so, is it viable in any capacity?

Question is a bit of a rabbit hole.

If your just talking about strictly leveling up then yeh you can use stuff like Cleric to kill mobs, it's a bit slow till it unlocks Holy Smite.

If your talking about end game dungeons then it's best to stick to the roles of the class. Most awaken classes that can heal, cannot heal and dps at the same time. Even the ones that can doesn't really do well.

That being said the whole kinda point of the game is that you can swap class any time. So if you wanna heal then just play a healing class and if you wanna DPS then just swap to the DPS class. Otherwise you will be weak a both and either the party will die or you have less damage.
