Allwynd Posted July 12, 2023 Report Share Posted July 12, 2023 I haven't played EE a lot, not under Aeria, not ever, so I haven't been past the 2nd zone, but I think of 2 options: 1. everyone is at the end of the game so new players don't see a lot of other new players 2. people went to play that X-Legend version on Steam Frankly, I tried playing that X-Legend Steam version and the game felt horrible. The client had some performance issues, the default controls were completely messed up to the point where I started questioning myself if the game was really like that or I just remember it wrong. There is some semi-auto-play buff that automatically teleports you to quest objectives... That version is disgusting so I'm not sure if people really went to play that. Then I started playing here yesterday and the game just feels nothing like the X-Legend Steam version. The client runs better, seems to have more options, performance is better, the default controls are just like how I remember them, I had very little setting up to do to make it behave like how I want it to. It's a great server, I honestly don't know if other private EE servers exist, but this one feels so good, it would be a shame for people to play any other version of the game.
