  1. Try putting Patcher.exe, Launcher.exe and _Launcher.exe on this list as you only have 1 of them right now. Also it would be helpful if you provided any sort of information such as what appears when it crashes, does it just disappear as this is all very helpful and useful information. So heres what I suggest. Make sure the game is full installed (Try pressing Verify on the patcher and making sure it successfully verify's the files). Make sure you do the above and put DEP on all 3 executable files. Try deleting Client.ini and Client_Classic.ini. Try adding the folder as an Anti-Virus exception.
  2. Just to comment on the NPC thing. It cannot go in the suggested places as I plan to fill out any spaces within the map over time with more content. I can maybe look into adding another by the back NPC on the outskirts but he's segregated on purpose. As for the Haven things I'm working on them ATM.
  3. Well I think in terms of the scenario's when healers can't heal full those scenario's are suppose to be like that so I guess it's still probebly not a good route to go. Since in DS for example the HP buff and the - healing buffs are suppose to hinder healers. However, M-Crit rate is probebly not a bad choice either since again like the idea behind PVE Cast SPD was that people would have more of the stats they need without POD and other prep buffs. I'm not sure how open I am to changing an already released set's stats as people may not appreciate that but it might be worth its own dicussion / voting thread to see what the whole communities thoughts on the matter are since although I don't disagree with you, if someone did work for the set and appreciates the Cast SPD more than they would M-CRIT rate then it would be a bit of a pain to adjust i based of 1 or 2 comments. But I'm definatly open to changing it if the community is on a mutal understanding to this point.
  4. Basically this. It's kinda difficult to implement due to how the game handles bags. I think the only way I could add this would be very bandaidy where it would be more like pages and stuff like removing items and auto-sort would place it in which ever the first slot is free still. So if you had ur bag open on page 3 and theres a space on page 1 then it would automatically go to page 1 still. I was debating adding maybe a scroll bar to the backpack rather than a page like system but thats on the todo list behind things such as gear swap slots.
  5. Correct me if I'm wrong but the somewhat purpose of this was to give them more room to rely on PoD for PvP scenario's. Since that way you can be -10% down on Cast SPD. As the same arguement could be made about PvE G-Healing right? On how most dungeons asside from maybe DS and the Odd Haven boss. Most healers heal pretty much the targets HP to full on most if not all casts. Again feel free to correct me. ~ Sigh... Literally ruined the entire response but adding this comment. This is exactly what I was talking about in my response. I presume this would be related to the delay of the 2 cores spawning after 1 core has already spawned. This shouldn't be patch related but I'll have a look into this and see if I can fix it.
  6. Because atleast as I read it you're not asking me to or suggesting me to, you are telling me to do it. So correct me if I'm wrong in thinking that something I intended to be as such being told to change it isn't going to make me think that I should change it. I get it, you guys don't like my response in regards to essences but doesn't mean you should be sarcastic and kinda rude on other suggestions. But again maybe I'm just getting the wrong vibe so feel free to correct me. As for what your saying most your claims about the MP being a detrement is completely wrong on almost all basis'. I don't blame you as its a common mindset of most players but let me explain in general. Just to preface this arguement the only negative attribute to having more total MP is the fact that potion's that are not % based and buff's that are not % based WILL recover less total % MP. This is the only aspect of the arguement that is true. You can only ever come out with more or the same amount of skill's casted when you have more Max MP. As if you turn on the buff and the buff Ticks away it will always tick away the same %. So 5% every second would drain to 0 at the same speed whether you have 500MP or 50,000MP. However, your skill casts will benefit more having more Max MP as they have a static cost so the more MP the more casts you get. I'll put the math in spoilers incase you don't really care: So obviously as you see from the results the only thing that's really effected is MP Potion use which is ofcourse a fair arguement to why Max MP can bring negatives. But on to my next point, Armor Set effects for the most part do not scale. So if I have say Awaken Rampaging Fire Dragon set. From my set bonus I only gain 1974 pts of HP. I don't gain 10k I don't gain 5k, I gain 1974 pts. So you might say "Well Jordan, When I equip the Glove piece I gain more than 1974 pts of HP, how does that happen when the Gloves have not HP stat or gear upgrade of HP?" Well thats simply because your Defence impacts how much HP you get too (Simply equip a DEF certificate to see this in action). So yes the arguement still stands that in theory you will have more HP with the level 110 Awaken Set but if the sets are identical in every way you will only have 1974 pts of HP more (That's if the 115 set is at 100% obviously). So then why the MP? Why would you choose MP? Well this patch as you have saw I took a different approach to creating armor across the board really. I wanted to make certain categories to fit more classes and to have more options. So thats why there is defensive healing sets and squishy healing sets. Also there is more stats generally on a set too. I also wanted to make a clear disparity against the DMG sets and the none DMG sets too such as defensive stats (e.g. HP) on gear designed to be for players who want a more defensive build. A Heavy CDMG set is not a defensive build. You will likely build this set to be a damage dealer and nothing else, yes you may build resistances on both but thats just Eden isn't it. So that is why MP. Dark Ninja should have been MP, it was simply a mistake but I'm not going to remove it now since people have worked hard for that set and the stat doesn't break the set so why not. I hope that answers your questions. Thanks I understand the frustration. Ultimately it came down to I found this more balanced. Yeh you can compare it to Haven but the end of the day 1 Set doesn't really compare well to an entire Armor set but yeh I get it's not fun to not get anything. However, you can't just go around giving away guarenteed drops either without increasing the requirements too. Otherwise you end up with just boosting the process a lot. The only thing I might consider is maybe having something like Haven where theres like partial essences on the daily that after x amount of runs you can trade for a specific (Along those lines). It wouldn't be the biggest of buff's but it might stop 3-4 days of dry runs and cut it down a bit or atleast have some light at the end of the tunnel of "I know i'm not getting much but I'll get it in x days 100%".
  7. Just remember finished for you and finished for others is 2 completely different things. I know people who where finished with Haven after a month or two just because they only wanted a few weapons and don't care for a bit of Move SPD and non-scaling HP. Content can't just cater to the people who want to complete everything or "most" things as a lot of people don't want to do everything and will only ever do it if it provides some sort of bonus to do so (Like achievements and 95 Awakens). The rates are already as high as an essence drop rate from Haven if not higher in some cases (Haven Essence Rates depend on how many essences the boss can drop). As for these essences unlike Haven you get 3 BP drops instead of 1. So 1 run of Abyss is the equivlent of 1 run of Haven even though the bosses are 3:1 as the boss drop amount is 1:3 so it will even out. So like Haven there is going to be an issue in the first 2 months ish where the popular and most in-demand essences will be rare as people are less willing to sell / trade them. I've had a handful of people reach out to me in PM's in game and in Tickets telling me that they are completely fine with the essences rates as they are now (They are un-happy to post there thoughts here publically because it will just cause drama, as it has done in the past) . Then I did some more tests myself to see if it checks out and in my honest opinion it is fine in its current state. I've increased the souls rates and amounts and decreased the soul to essence cost to help push away some of the RNG but you cannot expect to be doing more than 1 set at a time and have sets done on a week by week basis. The content is desgined to allow for people who are doing only a handful of sets to be done within about 1-2 months and not have a set flying out every 2 days. So if there is a need to increase the rate of essences it will be in-future to help people either catchup or people who are completionist's to not have to suffer for 6-8 months. Right now the content is new and people will be fighting for essences and you will get people whaling on them with their stacks of gold. This is normal for pretty much any other game that has tradable gear. I've looked into it and it should be procing fine. I'll test it when I get a moment to but there shouldn't be any issues atleast from looking at it from a code perspective. Might just be one of those things that where some things seem to proc more than others even though numerically they're the same (1 Example that comes to mind is how Silin Ring seems to proc more than other 5% chance gears).

  10. Never said it doesn't matter. I have read every post on this thread carefully but at the end of the day I have to factor in what keeps people busy too or whats the point? You cannot expect end game players to spend 4 months or longer on just helping people and afking waiting for PvP can you? I've tried my best to remove dry days to the best of my ability and in my testing atleast I didn't really experiance 4 consecutive runs where not a single item drops for every testing character (Obviously that doesn't speak for everyone but what else can you do without making it a sure fire thing). I can't sit here and spend 2 months on content and then 2 weeks later end game players are already asking for whats next. I'm not out here saying players opinions don't matter, what I'm saying is I've seen first hand what content makes the most impact in terms of gameplay and what content burns fast.
  11. Since all the feedback seems similar I'll just reply generally. The drop system is designed this way to keep the active players to always have something to strive for or something to get. This system was semi-developed with things like DS and GoP in mind originally for Haven. Taking the feedback such as the amount of RNG in Haven which was a specific complaint (For example, one complaint being not having the BP for the last achievement weapon for months). So I kept the whole RNG aspect in place but also added a sure-fire way to get what you want eventually. Essences are suppose to be rare whether people like it or not as it gives them value. Then essences high in demand can be sold to earn money with other players or can be traded with other high in demand items. It gives more reward than simply dropping a formula in a trial and then making maybe 10-20% of the value in materials + stardust. You can't have it so "I'm guarenteed to get half the set I want's essence in a week as then that would have to mean at minimum 7 of each type of essence a week. Which would mean you'd be finishing 2 and a half sets every 2 weeks. Yes you can argue that there is 14 sets and it would take a while to complete them all but how many people honestly complete every single set to actually use and how many people complete every set just to have in their archive. I mean I can just tell you now from some of the stuff I've had to do for tickets and you just see many awaken sets just sitting in archives +0 and nothing done to them. This was exactly one of the reasons I didn't go through with adding a stat bonus achievement this time around as its just unreasonable to ask people to complete more than they need to and if people want that 100% achievment then thats the less than 1% of people playing who have there work cut out for them (Can't make everyone happy). You can event sell completed set piece or trade set piece A with someone elses set piece A to help each other complete sets. There is plenty of reasons to keep running the dungeon which overall adds engagement and benefits to everyone doing the dungeon. So to boil it down to why? Trials overall get far less engagement from the players and HoO proved it. Yes you have some players throwing the dummy out the pram over Karen being too hard but at the end of the day it achieved what it was designed for whether people loved it or hated it. It got player engagement. People had things to do other than sit around for TW to open play for 30 mins and then go AFK in Aven becoming part of the decor or gathering with their 20 alts in guild town while playing other games. Trial patches on the other hand get far less engagement it becomes all about helping others after the first week and maybe less that 10% of the endgame players actually continue to do them after they have what they want. Thats before mentioning stuff like how long it actually takes to make a boss from scratch and how mentallity tiring it is (Not even factoring in how much thought has to go on loop holes people might use to solo the boss or mechanics to make the boss actually interesting and not simply stand and attack till dead). Trials on the other hand only get playtime when you make things like World Bosses with combo's which also gets complaints about how bad the drop rate is on them and stuff like that (So basically people aren't happy unless they're done in a week, speaking for the majority not the few). So yes maybe we can make some minor adjustments (Rates/Amount's) but ultimately I'm already happy with how it is as its functioning as designed. It will take time for people to collect essences to complete their sets and eventually when the rush is over then essences will become more available and sell for cheaper prices just like they did with HoO. Just remember. I am one person making content for this game. Yes people like @Mina @Herakles @Nanami have helped or do help when designing stuff but ultimately I have to sit there for hours making it happen and picking up on flaws in the ideas that could be abused or that don't make the boss interesting enough. This patch I was hoping to have released first week of Decemember, it came out 3 weeks later than that. I can honestly tell you this patch was started in October and took till the end of Decemember to be finished to a releasable standard. A lot of things where cut, a lot of things where canceled like the Christmas dungeon @Herakles planned and even the cut down just Christmas boss for Aven. So I'm sorry if not everything is perfect and things felt lackluster but I'm the only one who actually still gives this game time of day. X-Legend over on TW just throw promotions at people all day, Aeria seem to only remember this game exists when theirs an exploit that harms their AP income and those other servers that pop up and have a month of activity don't care either. So again apologies Christmas content was a bit shit this year but @Herakles held several events and even added extra stuff at my request to fill in for the lack of content to try salvage what I could. So I'm for my own sanity not going to participate in any back and fourths here but I will still be atleast reading feedback and judging accordinly of what I believe should be improved. But for the most part I wouldn't expect anything too drastic. I will also be consulting @Herakles on feedback he might have recieved this week too since he tends to get a lot of feedback via PM's also.
  12. Just cause I'm not 100% sure if the Edit means you solved it or what. But the acheivements are not related to the stats the title the achievement gives is. So when you use the Awaken Nerd Scroll it unlocks the titles thus giving your new characters the titles and their stats. If you already have the title unlocked then nothing will happen as there is no point reunlocking them.

Sorry for the delays this patch was a handful to complete but we finally made it and will package it as a Christmas gift for you all! New Stats Added: PVE Damage Dealt: Increases/Decreases DMG Dealt to monsters! PVE Damage Taken: Increases/Decreases DMG Taken from monsters! PVP Damage Dealt: Increases/Decreases DMG Dealt to players! Note: This varient of the stat is not currently in use anywhere as of right now. PVP Damage Taken: Increases/Decreases DMG Taken from players! PVE Cast Speed: Increases/Decreases Cast Speed while not in a PVP Map. PVP Cast Speed: Increases/Decreases Cast Speed while in a PVP Map. Note: This varient of the stat is not currently in use anywhere as of right now. Abyss! Abyss is our new content that will reward players with new armor sets (Level 115). To access Abyss head to Whispering Woods (X:351,Y:119) and step into the portal. Abyss has a total of 5 dungeons: Abyss: Fox Sanctuary: Open Monday, Wednesday and Saturday. The fragment will correspond with the piece you are trying to craft, so a Head Armor Piece will require a Abyss Head Armor Fragment. The essence on the other hand will be one of five different types and the Head and Body will match and the Belt, Gloves and Boots will also match. You will always need 5 Armor Fragments to craft a piece of armor and the amount of essence required will depend on what piece you are crafting: Head: 6 Essences. Body: 8 Essences. Waist: 3 Essences. Hand: 5 Essences. Feet: 6 Essences. As for the armor itself we have improved the stats of the armor across the board and additionally added some new armor types to get. To list some of the changes: Armors give 3 bonus stats now instead of 2 bonus stats. There is now a healing heavy armor. There is now a full healing light armor. There is now a EVA healing cloth armor. Heavy Armors for damage users now give magic stats. We have looked into feedback into the Haven on Oblivion and improved on the system for this dungeon. Essences will drop in higher volume to make your time more rewarding. Additionally, we've made the both an RNG bag for the Armor Blueprints but also straight up purchases. Meaning if you are feeling unlucky then you can purchase them for a higher price but have a 100% chance of getting the Blueprint you want. Christmas Content You can claim a free gift package from the Events page! Vendetta Treasurey has been opened once again! Aven has been decorated with some nice decorations!   15. It's a very old game running on very old and very un-optimized code. This is definatly something that would be categorized as a distant dream. Not saying impossible but very unlikely that this will ever be a thing. This has been discussed in many different discussion threads and is not really an option as again would require a very large amount of work which at the moment I atleast do not have the time to commit to this. This will also not benefit new players as new players will still have to do them. With the ability to change class at any given moment there is no need for new players to make multiple characters when they don't even have 1 character fully geared or atleast reasonably geared. Yes you are correct that the amount of crafting could scare someone off, but they would still be scared off regardless as they still ahve to do it in the first place. Additionally I'm not really sure what Quetzalcoatl has to do with Achievements as he does not contribute anything towards such things other than Awaken 95 Armors which is already account sharable via the Awaken Nerd Scroll when you complete all the armor sets. So although I get why this would help veteran players who might wanna re-roll character for a specific racial skill or just change race for asthetic purposes. This isn't something that is simple and is a bit more than a QoL. So even if I do decide to do this there is atleast 2 years of backlogged QoL's that would be prioritized over this. Additionally in my opinion as much as people my flame me for this opinion having achievements character based is better for the games economy too. It's not uncommon for veteran players to reroll characters and those are the players who tend to have more than enough gold to do so. This gold gets eaten by the game's system and in turn takes it out of the economy. We already give a handful of free Stardust to help players work on their Achievements not to mention Stardust being reletively easy to get off the crystal altar too (Especially Low Level stuff). So it's not like its that hard and if you run your dailys each day you can get through the relevant achievements quite fast. Then for achievements that are harder like the Enchant one for example, we do offer a way to transfer the achievement title to an Alt via the Vivi NPC in Aven. 1. Would harm the Glyph selling market which I'm not sure how much you appreciate this but I know atleast back when I played this was always a very good way for bears to make money or people who put work into a bear can make money. Yes you could double the Material cost and such but overall it will make bears less profitable and that's not a place a GM/DEV should be stepping in. 2. Ditto answer 1 (More so infact). 3. The RNG is the cost of making a money from Racials. Just like how other races have to spent time rolling the racial over and over again with 5-10x the material cost than a bear does. The RNG is fine how it is. Again that's all my opinion from playing this game for many years before and to be completely honest it was worse before when there was 5 glyphs to choose from. Yeh you could make your own bear and roll the glyph you want but finding the niche glyphs that people find "useless" was a real hard task to do. Where as now if a bear has say a Bard glyph they can just open it till they get the one you want to buy or if you're looking for a Niche glyph, you can probebly find them and cheaper than market value as they likely will have lots to spare.

  18. Did you rename your chat box on awaken as spaces and other weird characters can cause it to crash upon loading. To fix this you can delete the client.ini file for Awaken and client_classic.ini for Classic.

Completely re-wrote all gear related to this patch and the upcoming trial patch to improve the clarity (Includes but not limited to: Trophies, Weapons, Accessories). I would like to state that in no way shape or form has any of the gear been altered. Upcoming Content Level 70 Trials and Level 70-s Trials are currently disabled along with level 70 Arena Gold Equipment. Level 70 Trials and 70 Arena Gold Equipment will be enabled in the short future with 70-s Trials remaining disabled until close to or with the level 70 Awaken Armors which will likely be released early next year. Level 70 Dragon Slaying Expedition is also disabled and will be enabled shortly after the Level 70 Trials have been released with some minor changes to the rewards. Diamond Altar As tradition we will be having a Diamond Altar to celebrate the release of a new piece of content! We will be releasing 2 new diamond altars this week followed by the 2 older rotations in the coming weeks! We hope you enjoy these new diamond altars! The Dragon Knight and the Sage! With this patch we will be releasing access to these two fan favourite classes! Although we initially planned to hold this release back till the Expedition's release we ended up changing our mind and released it earlier! The Sage Class The Sage class is a top tier support class that will have a heavy impact in PvP if used. Being the ultimate Anti-Crowd Control support this class can help your party survive against those pesky Illusionist's and their Aerolites or those Ranger's and their Arrow of Fear's. This class is definitely something you should include in your party setup's. We have completely re-wrote every single skill, buff, class talent, certificate, passive and glyph for this class to improve the clarity of what each skill does. I would like to state that in no way shape or form has the class been altered. We have however fixed 2 bugs with this class: Human Passive "Descendant of the Sage" was only working against Basic Attacks and not All Physical DMG. We've now corrected that issue so it now works against all Physical DMG as intended. Bear Passive "Suppress Power" was only working against Physical Skill DMG and not All Magical DMG. We've again corrected this issue so it now works against all Magical DMG as intended. The Dragon Knight Class The Dragon Knight class will currently be one of the top DPS classes in the game if played correctly. It provide's a very high burst combination which is disruptive to the enemies. Whether you play it properly with a Pike or incorrectly with a Staff you should still find a lot of success in PvP. This class is definitely not for everyone but no harm to give it a go! We again have completely re-wrote every single skill, buff, class talent, certificate, passive and glyph for this class to improve the clarity of what each skill does. I would like to state that in no way shape or form has the class been altered. We have however fixed 4 bugs with this class: Skill "Reverse Scale" was only giving a 1 second duration on the buff that gives Skill DMG Dealt when used with "Hidden Drake Mode". We've now corrected it to 3 seconds just like when using it without "Hidden Drake Mode". Class Talent "Scale Enhancement" was not effecting the "Hidden Drake Mode" version of the skill. We've corrected this issue so now it does. Skills "Hellfire Dragon Devour" and "Drake Fang Ambush" was not giving the Skill DMG Dealt to Reverse Scale like it should. We've fixed this issue and now it correctly gives the Skill DMG Dealt. Skills "Dark Drake Mode", "Flame Drake Mode" and "Hidden Drake Mode" was abled to be transfered between classes. We've adjusted this so it is now removed when changing class. Hello Kitty Eden Adventure! We are finally releasing the Hello Kitty Collection on the Eden Eternal Classic Server!   22. Drop rate is actually decent on these in comparrison to other things in game. Thats why everyone claims its good. Drop parties effect drops as when in a party everyone has their own drops aswell as a general party drop. So if you have a party and go inside a dungeon you basically get twice as many drops. Unlike popular belief having a full 5 man party and a 2 man party should give the same amount as its the party that increases the drops and not the amount. So when people say people say something like it improves drop rate, it does and it doesn't as it basically gives you more RNG rolls.
  23. All I'll say on the matter is if we where to open a game because our game activity seems low then we wouldn't open a game that closed in less than a year due to low population. Dragomon Hunter was very poorly executed and was generally not a good game which is why it closed and it did have a private server open when it was released and that server was dead before it even got started. We appreciate you come to us with this suggestion but this game is just not really worth opening since there is just much better options.
  24. There is a lot of reasons to keep pierce damage limited to ranged weapons for content purposes. Just a quick example is making a boss break to Pierce and not Slash to force PDPS players to play ranged DPS classes. Little subtle things like this are done all the time and have been done since I started creating dungeons in this game. So atleast for now, especially with the dominance of classes like Executioner I do not want to open this door. Edit: I would also like to add the only way to make bosses immune to anything but pierce is to not allow this change either. It's a pandora's box of issues that will create a lot of problems on the making good and challenging content side of things. NPC Merchant card is something that is possible but the amount of hours it would take to create this feature, test this feature and make sure its 100% bug proof is just not worth the reward. Yeh it's a cool idea but I also have a IRL job to do and also 2 versions of the game to run, so when I do work on the game I have to be very cautious with time and weigh up the benefits of time spend and the impact of a feature. So something like this would be very far down my TODO list for sure. The auto-sell blue is on my TODO list along with things such as Gear Swap slots. It will be done, however its again not very high on the TODO list as I have many other things todo especially during this time of the year where people want event content aswell as game content.
