  2. Number of people attending this timeslot is way better than the previous sched where almost no one join, I think that is the main purpose of this temporary change in time. numbers in both side is equally high with the ongoing AK.

  10. This is just my own point of view, I think the decision was born from the fact that the management wishes to move the current cap forward since it was stagnating for years. The previous skill changes was made to accommodate the current max cap without actually taking into consideration future changes, the previous series of changes was not cohesive and flexible and was made to compensate the changes that players insisted to make their own classes, let's just say "enjoyable". By reverting to the original skill layout and formula, it adds fluidity in the game's skill system. we can add level caps on top of our current cap by following the increment rate at which the skills will level up and the magnitude they get per level.(which was actually forgotten and/or due to the series of changes were not sure how and when these skills level up) Reverting the changes will also clear all the changes that was made on a moment's notice due to the pressure added by the community that ends up causing unforeseen imbalances, I know that most of players over time became quite comfortable with the current skills, when was months ago it has been criticized 24/7. The question getting beg to answer is: We will end up using the old 54 aeria skills? but we spent lot of time addressing old problems, we will just end up fixing them again. quick answer: reverting to the original SB skill doesn't mean that we have to use it, we just want the mechanic and the fluidity that the original developers intended. - "No problem should ever have to be solved twice." We can use the system mechanic but keep VGN good changes like passives etc. We don't have to worry about messing the lower cap since we follow the original route. We can improve upon it and rescale the levels if deemed necessary(ex. rescale passive to LV15 by dividing the current max level to 15 and from there we can use Liveplex formula of level increment) I think we will not go back to the stone age just like how most of the players perceive the upcoming patch, we just need a solid foundation or groundwork in which we can work upon to avoid problems in the ongoing 69 cap release, adding another cap isn't just as simple as putting another 1 or 2 levels on top of the skills and viola *New cap confirmed* we have to follow the original pattern, it will make the work much easier for the devs if we use the original blueprint.

  12. Free gears wont matter if people just gonna abuse guild house bug anyway. In order to fix things up you will need to patch that bug and I think most of the players will complain about it. Bugs becomes a feature if devs doesnt fix it asap and it becomes a norm in the community.
  13. I played alot againts good SW and struggled alot before I get to the point where Im currently am. The only thing I want to point out is that SW doesnt suck in any possible way and If the reset happens and SW get nerfed heavily I will be one of the first players to stand up and make a thread about it.
  14. It is basic decision making every good player do, if you say you cant do atleast that then sucks to be you i guess.
  15. "If" ME "sacrificed" points for that detect and only if "ME and PU" are present and not everyone is SE nor a good one for that matter. You cant just instantly assume SW sucks and ME or PU are always around to put detect buff, if that's the case you will automativally know when not to engage and when to engage, it will also depends on how you play it. If you dont invest a bit in fade you know everyone will be able to detect you if there happens to be a PU around so you need to min-max.

This is where element of surprise plays a huge role, SW will always have preemptive strike that puts it on an advantage againts other classes, SW CD on debuffs is not that high and will always be ready for another round if you sit for a while on invisibility. And yeah ofcourse SW's main selling point is their debuff I can only think of a few SW who will go after a kill without their debuffs lmfao. ME's detect buff has been removed and people wont be sitting in cocoons all the time. If you take it account all the total debuff value in gears, skillstone, skills and put it on any class that isnt tank you will end up with almost a naked arkana. What I want to point out is SW is no where weak as described in their drama.

  18. Class is only as good as the user. I can think of numerous ways how an SW can easily pick up a kill, and it can potentially kill any class easily at the current patch. Most of the SW sounds like a broken sad boi when it comes to class discussions and always try to start a pity party. Detect vs Conceal has always been 23m apart give or take when SW and SE invests on Fade and Inner sight. problem with most SW is "I don't need max fade" also the same people who complain Detect vs conceal is broken af. you need to adjust your build and there is no 1 build that fits against all classes. SW has: Damage passive 55% Acc/ch acc buff 50% debuff across defensive stats This means SW classes don't need to compensate most of the time and can easily use 1 set of weapon for every class since they have buffs to cover Eva and CH Eva and external buffs such as ME,PU buffs always applies to them the same way it does to other classes, but this doesn't mean SW will always get everything their way this is why "good players" find different ways to survive against SW, that is why you still need to get weapon sets to overcompensate and prevent that from happening. Against Tanks: -5500 CV + 51% ch reduction + SW natural ch reduction, -26% Void + SW's Natural Void reduction + Unique Ancient Void Pierce + Skill stone, this will put any tanks defensive stat low enough for you to pick them once their buff is on CD. 1 v 1 it all boils down to players skill difference. Assassin Role: Like 95% of SW in this game is an eye sore, I keep seeing them yoloing in the frontlines and try to get atleast 1 person before they die, SW is an Assassin not a suicide bomber. There are other ways like cutting people off or picking "out of position ME/PU/SE"' it always depends on the flow and the balance of the battle, You guys most of the time are on Zerg and I still see you complain in here and discord about imbalances speak volumes of your skill level as a player. The reason why most SW have had the short end of the stick for awhile now is because most of them suck as a player, no need to be polite about this one, everyone knows it. we only have a couple of good SW players around, most of the good SW I know is either inactive or already left SB. Even Larissa, not the chick, the new guy who mains SW is better than most average SW who are playing for months or more.

  20. This is the way things should be. The way things are going atm. This is why things need change, even if it means we need to backtrack a little bit. We have so many ideas, I'll make a thread one of these days about the stuffs we came up in discord, changes we think that are good for playerbase.

Another thing is that making stuffs too hard or too easy makes the game flat dead, maybe let's find a middle ground where drop rates, EXP and monster difficulty will pose challenge and maybe we can also separate items that are valuable(something that can make people vibrate whenever they get it) to that of common but necessary to have in order to do a decent PVP so people might feel rewarded instead of doing flat out chores.

Remove the -25% ACC reduction on Enfeeble, this synergizes with ME buffs and Defensive cocoon making a huge stat imbalances in mass PVP. SE - Skirting Disaster gives 50% Eva combine this with the skill synergy above it will have a total of 120% Effective Evasion on top of their natural 10k - 11k Eva = 220% -230% EVA PU - 120% EVA + 9k - 10k natural evasion = 210% - 220% EVA SW - 120%EVA + 90% + 37.5% + 9k - 10k natural EVA = 356.6% - 357.5% EVA ME - 120% EVA + 15% + 9k to 10k natural EVA = 234% - 235% ACC across classes: (95% acc base + Sum of all ACC% gears) 149 - 164 ACC unbuffed and using unspecialized gear 169 - 184 ACC with ME ACC buff and using unspecialized gear 210 - 224 ACC with ME ACC buff and using specific gears (Jewels, Lingerie, Title, randoms etc) Taking the best possible ACC gear set up and sacrificing tons of DPS SW buff = +55% ACC + 224 ACC = 279% ACC DE buff = +24% ACC + 224 ACC = 248% ACC PU buff = +20% ACC + 224% ACC = 244% ACC WH Hook = +20% ACC + 224% ACC = 244% ACC SE buff = +10% ACC + 224% ACC = 234% ACC Formula taken from limeox guide %Physical Hit Chance = %Accuracy - %Evasion Let's take WH hook and PU's ability to hit in mass PVP as an example since they are identical Whipper: 244% ACC- 235%EVA = 5% hit 244% ACC- 357.5%EVA = 0% hit 244% ACC- 220%EVA = 24% hit 244% ACC - 230%EVA = 14% hit note: all of the numbers are estimated generously.
