Hello dear Eden Eternal Vendetta players!

Today we want your opinions.

We'd like to know what you'd like to see in the next patch. We're in the process of planning the patches for this year and would like to hear the community's opinion before anything is set in stone.

We'd like to begin working on this as soon as possible. So any ideas you would like to submit, please do so soon!

Note: We're looking for major content rather than QoLs, although QoLs are welcome.

Thanks for all your help.

I will probably be editing my post multiple times, you have been warned! :333

Content

- Legendary achievements for CC1 and CC2 similar to the ones HoO had, or just an incentive for people to do all of CC2, without skipping out on any one boss. People always skip Pisces and Capricorn because apparently they're a hassle? Couldn't tell you, never been Capricorn and the one time I've been Pisces didn't seem that bad.

- Some dagger weapon costumes. (Preferably dagger sized)

Quality of Life

- This would mostly benefit me and other high volume* racial crafters and the thing I wanna see most of all, but how about you make stack sizes of racial mats 9999, including Eden Amethysts and the yellows from Heirloom chests? Then I could get rid of Magic Glitter faster, too!

Spoiler

Pretty sure this qualifies as high volume
TDvDUgW.png

- Add a search bar for Loyalty shop, if someone needs a Netherworld Emerald (page 34) for example, they've gotta click at least 32 times to even get there. Imagine doing that only to realise you don't have enough EP. If a search bar can't be done, consider a 'go to page' button, wouldn't be ideal but it'd be something.

Make AH's search not caps-sensitive.

- Something similar to Nerdy's idea below, add a button to upgrade a skill to max, or as high as your remaining CP will let you. Also I'd 100% want The Fool set.

- While I'm at it, texture fixes. Some* immediately come to mind.

Hi o/

Here are a few suggestions from La420Zone :

On the QOL part :

- Rework the daily rewards systems (maybe with safety stones/HF/maybe abyss stars etc (more useful items in general)

- Make Fishing Rods more available (by creating a new Arcane box recipe: 3 different gathring tool coins give a fishing rod for which you choose the level, for example)

- Add a search back in the EP section

- Being able to stack 2 of the same weapon in archives (for costumes especially because having 1 blazelight cestus in archives and 1 in bank sucks ngl)

- Add a 4th and maybe 5th WH in guild town

- Make the "Abyss solo" NPC able to buy items

- BOOST DB PLS QWQ

On the Content part :

- Add a new lvl cap

- Add an alternative to the CC/CC2 accessories equaly or more powerful so it can increase the possibility of gameplay and gear building

- Add level 130 awaken weapons

- Add a new 5-player dungeon featuring a true hybrid mechanic (physical and magical), with daily AND long-term rewards (accessory and/or weapon combinations). (With Lvl 9 enchantments on bosses)

- Add a permanent version of the Vendetta Snow Fortress dungeon

- Add “Super Trial” version (lv130 or more) of Aven's trials

- BOOST DB PLS QWQ

Hi, for me it should be more QoL Related tho.

but it would be nice to see another kind of Dragon Sanctuary or Gates of Pandemonium, those 2 dungeons were really challenging in its cap and it woould be nice to see something like that again.
Contrary to my fellow Jinez i dont think  a new cap would be necesary atm due to some people that is returning to the game doesnt have all the clases cap, and could be a little bit overwhelming for them to reach the people that kept active.
Something i like to see (for my personal taste and emo phase) Is more black colored luna rocks in general, or maybe add a feature that allow us to dye them and not in a big way, maybe just 6 color (black, red, blue, green, yellow, green, and pink)

Also i think that if you really going to add a new lvl cap should come with another run map to no repeat what was DSR runs.
Also please ad MP potions on DV i understand the MP is a resource and all that but it would be good to add them in DV same as DSR

Also another good thing that we can point at is 2 things about Path Of Destiny:

1- Its kind of difficult to people who farms the class buffs to actually see or appreciate which buffs i am missing, it would benice if we can change the icons of them or to make them colored as the class they belong to.
2- Can we do a rework or an adjustment to a 2 specific prays of PoD? Yes! Shaman's +66hp per sec feels kind of... useless?? or worthless, since most of people has over 100k hp, would be nice to rework it or to "buff" it to heal more. Another one is Ilusionist one, the mp reduction would be good if it actually affects the amount of mp that every toggle from awaken classes drains, but since it doesnt, would be nice if you guys consider to rework it to instead of reducing the mp cost, gives mp per sec, nothing crazy maybe same as mp potion lv 2? or half of it would be a good improvement.

- Split EP shop's Consumable category into Farming, Mining, Summoning and Monster Drop mats.

- Being able to exchange 100 or 500 Eden Amethysts for Heirloom Chests

- Maybe add some slots in Status Support's Item Support

- Disable Item Support when character is logging out or changing channel

- Except during the week-end, Territory Wars' schedules are set on America's time zone. Might be interesting to have one or two TWs set on another time zone

- Maybe add a second debuffs bar on boss icons or make the existing one longer

I think mine counts as QoL (idk)

  • Adding a Search Bar in the Loyalty Shop would be reaaaaaallly helpful.
  • I've said this before, and I'll keep trying ;w; but, make Glyph's stackable (like the base ones, aka the gray ones) would leave more space on the bag (I know it has been denied because of difficulty, but at least try. because if the gray ones are stackable, the other ones should be able to).
  • Make Guild Funds usable, once you reach lv 12, the gold is just chilling there. Make it that you can buy NPC's with the Guild Funds (ik this has been said before but (o( ).

I also think it is NOT a good idea to add a new level cap atm. It is extremely hard to find runners now a days or to successfully run yourself without any difficulty (when it comes to the new plays). As shinntxz said, you will make the people that return or new players find it extremely overwhelming that they have to catch up to the geared up people to even be able to play/be accepted into pt's by the fully end geared players (I'm saying this because they are some people that don't accept you unless you have everything).

  • Maybe focus this year on making adjustments for the new players so they can catch up.
  • (Fix the pvp issue for those that do pvp).

and maaaaaaybe in 2026, add a new cap, but not atm. But yeah if you DO end up adding a new cap, add a NEW running map with 3 alternative portals pls (people like to hog the channels for MANY hrs or days).

If the new cap is added, you can add new content for the new cap after 3 or 6 months pass (to give people time to run and be ready for the new pve content without being left behind or unable to be accepted in pt's if you are not the correct level).

1. Any QoL related patch with the intention to help new/returning players get “caught up” to what is considered endgame would be well received.

2. I disagree with new level cap raise and/or any other patches that will introduce new gears to the game RIGHT NOW for the same reason given by my peers above. I mean just a few weeks ago you added some new stuff. Let it marinate.

3. I don’t do any racial crafting, however, anything that can help the guys do it more efficiently would be well received.

4. I suggest an easy mode to be added to instances that require a full party to complete them at a timely pace. For example AT/DF, VG, Abyss and Deep Abyss. Often times it’s a hassle to get a party going at specific periods of the day for the DGNs mentioned. I believe others would agree.

Hi, I'll leave my ideas for the future. Quality of life, content and costumes.

(Thanks in advance for reading.)

     Quality of life:

  • Item mall search (Example image)
    73a9f81aef88ddb55373e9765ad2eb96.jpg

  • Automatic level up button on class skills/Reg. Skills (Example Image) a82edd2c89222b3f1fb21813e9501a7b.jpg

  • Achievements are shared per account and not just per character

   Sets/items/bosses ideas:

We have demons and angels, we have the zodiac... why not?...

22 Major Arcana sets

(Just for example)

  • The Magician: INT, LCK, ACC, etc
  • The Lovers: Items that buff nearby party members
  • The Hermit: P-Healing, ATK
  • The Devil: ATK, P-Crit, P-Crit-DMG, DMG Dealt
  • The High Priestess: G-Healing, WIS, Int

Planets Sets

(Just for example)

  • Jupiter: Def, Str, -% DAMAGE Taken, etc
  • Mars: P-Crit, P-Crit DMG, PAK, etc.
  • Neptune: Wis, G-Healing, e
  • Earth: M-ATK, Int, Acc, etc.

    Costumes:

  • (Since we have some animal costumes, like the cow one), Two-Piece Capybara Costume
  • Plague Doctor Mask

On your point number 4, would be also good to consider to do something with HoO since it has achivements, and its an old ass hell content and its pretty imposible to find a party, would be good to add a soloable version maybe with less drops or smt but atleast to make the achivement doable for newcomers

I didn't really want to comment on this thread but I'm going to have to because it has gone in the wrong way entirely (maybe down to Doudou's wording I don't really know).

The main point of this topic was not to address quality of life changes but to decide the direction of the next big content update. This content wont be out within a month and could be any time in the next months (anywhere between 3 - 6 months time from now).

This kind of content takes a lot of time and before we begin we wanted opinions to know what direction people want us to take. I understand there is a lot of Quality of Life people want and there always will be but we cannot just spend the year doing just Quality of Life as people will get really bored and leave until something comes out worth their time.

One thing I will highlight since it has been mentioned a few times and will highlight the most clearest example is:

20 hours ago, Remember said:

It would be good for people to make suggestions on what to do for this rather than just say this. Because it is one of the biggest points of improvement that improves the game for everyone as it brings new people keeping the older people busy.

The entire last "big" content was basically designed with this in mind. We tried our best to balance the trials around people who aslong as they have done some of the basics can easily do these dungeons with other people of the same level (even it it takes them twice as long). We made weapons and armor that for the most part are not the best but are good all rounders to act as gateways to the best armors. So it would be good to know from experienced people who have helped new people to point out what sort of "flaws" are currently around and what can be done to remedy these situations.

I'm not highlighting this to call anyone whos mentioned it out or to cause a stir. I'm asking out of genuine "I don't really know what else I can do other than give people free stuff".

I'm only posting because I really wish that this game somehow gets far more popular. Like, I'm not even sure if this game gets any advertising in the first place anyways.

Maybe you could try making a patch solely focused on making recurring "Leagues" similar to OSRS or Path of Exile. Something that both old and new players can "jump in to" and just have a blast playing through with a fresh start. You don't even have to have a "new mechanic" every single league. Just a monthly reset where everyone just replays the game with maybe some basic cosmetic rewards for accomplishing something in the League.

A monthly server with boosted XP, higher drop rates, and so on. Not really sure how it would be balanced out in terms of rewards...But hey, maybe it would just be fun to play with a bunch of people going through the game and struggling with "end-game" again. This would also help newer players learn what to do and what to go for.

Add a button "now" when changing server or loggingout instead of wating for forced 10 seconds as sometimes it gets canceled by potions or stones in the status assistante

Also if there is a way to make locked items in the backpack to prevent them from being sorted by the auto-sort

QoL is good, of course, absolutely thoughtless proposals for QoL are even better, but this topic not about this. I see the main problem of the server at the moment - lack of newbies. It is not easy to solve this problem - now is a different time and people are not ready to spend a lot of time to understand the game and slowly move towards some end goal. Adding some passes for new / returning players is not bad, but it seems that this does not solve the main problem. In terms of "brings new people keeping the older people busy" - imho awakened armor in the abyss brought a much better effect than 130 trials, because it was really needed by old players ("grind issue" or it was just hype from the steam version). In general, I think that we need new content that would not require high-level gear for everyone (not like cc2), but would be needed by everyone to increase their current power (like at / df, abyss, etc.). Also, something needs to be done with the problem of newbies.

I agree with them that a new cap level is too early atm. It would be good to move towards new dungeons to keep players busy over the long term, with interesting rewards for both continuing/finishing their equipment for new players, and perfecting their equipment for old players.

And why not work on the races that XLegends was planning to implement? Or create new ones?

These are just a few suggestions, some of which are complicated to implement, but would keep players busy enough. (New races mean new crafts...)

@Jordan Not to discount what was said and what has already been done for game with regards to QoL. But the reality is that players are unfortunately still struggling. Perhaps this isn't the thread for this discussion. However, we cannot ignore that it is still one of the major issues most players face to date.

"We're looking for major content rather than QoLs, although QoLs are welcome" unfortunately QoL will likely be the most popular response you will get, evidently. Again, probably not the thread to discuss this.

From the responses i see here, it appears that most of them disagree with any major content update. However, i do understand that you are looking for ideas for furure updates, of which I have none.

I will not stray too far from the topic and its main objective. Therefore, I will end here.

I wasn't going to post anything but I wanted to follow up on this because it could be a really cool idea for the future that solves a lot of problems we currently have.

Many games implement a seasonal game mode that is usually incredibly successful, and a peak in terms of player count and engagement for those games. Path of Exile, Diablo, OSRS, Black Desert, and so on. Unfortunately we have something similar with EE, but it's in the form of some new server opening up every few months that many people jump to. Doing something like this for Vendetta will keep players here, and can incentivize them to play our awakened server after the season ends if done correctly.

Examples of benefits to this would be:

  • It's a chance to introduce something completely new to a game that has been out for nearly 15 years now.
  • It keeps players on VGN instead of hopping to a new server every few months
  • It could bring the players from the season to our main server once it ends with proper incentives based on progress (such as games like OSRS), or possibly characters transferred to the main server if possible (such as BDO, PoE, etc.)

Probably a lot more that I can't really think of. It would be really interesting though, usually seasons give you more power than normal and are always really fun and a nice change of pace. It would be a lot of work for something temporary so I don't really see it happening, Jordan is only one person. But it would be really fun and interesting for a lot of people if it did happen.

As far as our current server goes, I think the current level cap and content is at a good point. For the future, I like the awakened weapons/armor system, and I feel it's almost iconic to EE at this point. Maybe another continuation of that when we do get another level cap. Until then, I would be more interested to see things like class reworks for weaker/lesser played classes. Specifically either buffs or reworks. o7
