What if every NPC for enhancing, AH, jewels, etc... was removed from every map and placed in Enocia base. Okay maybe not every NPC, but ones that are all found in Enocia any way can be removed from the other maps except for guild hall access, item merch, and Pon as well as keeping any NPC in place that has a quest line attached to it unless you can change the quest line. You would need to add the jewel NPCs and Random stat NPC to Enocia since they aren't in that map. The idea would be to have players go to Enocia so that it can have a more populated map for the new players to see the game isn't dead as well as get players in other level caps to see there are more players than just them.

Someone already suggested it, and I say no again: Enocia is mainly a map to learn the game, it should be focused for real beginners, and real beginners are already a lot confused with NPCs. If you add more of them in enocia, it's worse for new players that just need enhance, certify, market and guild hall bouncer.

If you want a base full and messy of every kind of NPCs, I suggest Barbirion.

On one hand, Enocia already has NPC's offering services newbies can't use. Any level 10 players have 2500g for a bike? How about a rare tempering replicube to create a cyberskin you can't use? And what the hell is an Item Rank Tech ever good for?

On the other hand, putting all available services on the starting map can 1) familiarize new players from the beginning with all those services and 2) create a one-stop shopping center that players of all levels can interact with each other in.

Enocia? Barbirion? Mereholt used to be the player hub. Because of the club and all npcs being there. It dissolved a bit because it's missing direct connections to new areas, and important npc are everywhere whereas some of the new npcs are missing in Mereholt.

As a hub with all facilities Mereholt is good because getting there gives new players a first great feeling of achievement. There you can check out all the npcs and there is even a quest line to intruduce the new npcs (ik, the latter is true for almost every map but later maps are more or less just repeating it).

Just don't throw everything at new players right at the start. Playing through the game you need progress, without it the game is shallow. Same goes for base gear. Instead of giving gear for free by quests I'd rather like to see more ways to get the real gear with reasonable effort (for ungeared players).

The idea wasn't to allow every new player to use all the NPCs. It was to make it so that older players have to go lower cap maps to use NPCs there. That way people see the game is populated and players aren't staying in the maps that are only good for their level. Like removing NPCs for enhancement out of Amara, Viledon, Nemesis, Caregate, and Ellis so that you have to physically enter a pve map to enhance and people can see you are there. Could also remove it out of Barb and mereholt, so players go to Enocia and just use the one there. With the coming level cap increase, it would make Enocia very populated because of people enhancing gears as they get them if they were forced to use the Enocia NPC and all others become unusable.
