  1. You could say I damaged Elegant Dancer by removing its reflect, you could say I damaged Darkness Blade by removing its +200% DMG buff. This class was made alongside 2 Samurai mains and they both really enjoyed the current, HP is a resource and shouldn't just be recoverable by every class otherwise whats the point in having it? Just because X-Legend gave up on game balancing and started giving every class healing and infinate MP doesn't mean we have to follow it.

It's a bit silly to say the game is going in a PvP direction instead of a PvE direction based of the fact that PDPS classes are better at PvE than MDPS classes which has pretty much always been the case. This is not a direction we are trying for nor does it have anything to do with PvP as the simple fact is Auto Attacks matter and PDPS strive more so in a party setup that supports sustained hitting (Which if you referance PvP, this is why asside from a short stint from Gravity Manipulator, PDPS classes have always been the best crystal cappers [PvE element inside of PvP]). This is not a direction we aim for and we've actively tried including MDPS in the PvE content by adding mechanics that are immune to MDPS. It's also not something a patch can solve without massive changes to the entire game.
  3. This was a change made because MP had became a useless stat in the game. Very few classes ever ran out of MP during play so we changed it for the balance of the game. Ofcourse this version isn't as strong as the old version, the old version had permenant +DMG buffs and practically infinate MP pool. This isn't a healthy class. This is why it was change to add more skill expression, this class can do much more damage than before but requires knowledge of the skills and their combinations and finding the right combinations for maximum damage output. This also comes hand in hand with learning to manage your MP using potions.

    Information Finally we're ready to release what we've had planned for you for the past few months. We've taken a new approach into obtaining the new gear so any feedback on this approach and improvements for future content we'd much appreciate. The next direction for this server will be to re-assess the PvP and in particular around the DMG Dealt and DMG Taken buffs and debuffs. We are also planning some changes relating to Dragon Emperor. For any feedback please comment here: New Content Haven of Oblivion Overview Haven of Oblivion brings 3 new dungeons on a daily rotation, containing new Trophies and new Weapons to be collected. Each dungeon in the Haven of Oblivion collection contains a total of 3 randomly selected bosses from a pool of 11 bosses who drop Essences that can be transformed into various different weapons. There is a total of 6 essences and the bosses have varying amounts of said essences. Speak with Gogo in Aven (X:213, Y:253) to get started! Haven of Oblivion: Ruin of Ages This dungeon is open on Monday, Wednesday and Saturday! To access this dungeon speak with Melody in Gemsis Ridge (X:417, Y:146)! Haven of Oblivion: Icecrown Altar This dungeon is open on Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday! To access this dungeon speak with Yui in Shiver Peak (X:124, Y:86)! Haven of Oblivion: Royal Trove This dungeon is open on Friday, Saturday and Sunday! To access this dungeon speak with Emilia in Tranquil Hill (X:430, Y:348)! Essence System Essences are Tradable so you can swap them with other players or sell them for profit. As previously mentioned weapons are not dropped in Haven of Oblivion but are crafted via Essences that are dropped from the various bosses. Faded Essence which can be used for Pikes, Hammers and Staffs. Burnt Essence which can be used for Daggers, Swords and Rapiers. Clean Essence which can be used for Bows, Guns and Sickleshots. Frozen Essence which can be used for Cestus, Katanas and Shields. Aged Essence which can be used for Clubs, Greatswords and Axes. Cynical Essence which can be used for Guitars, Grimoires and Maces. There is two ways to use essences to create weapons. The first being that you can simply fuse the essences using the Arcane Box to create a random weapon out of the pool above. These weapons are automatically bound when recieved. The second being that you can get formula's from Gogo in-order-to craft weapons using foundrys which will grant you a Bind on Equip weapon and an Achievement. However, in addition to the above essences you will also require a Blent Essence which can be created by putting an Esssence of any type in the Arcane Box. Note: Crafting one of each weapon will grant you the Honor Title "Haven's Collector" which grants you permenant Move SPD +5%. Driver System Weapons are now locked at 100% upon being create using the Essence system. So in order to increase your weapon to 120% you will need to collect a couple pieces of each weapon. Each weapon can be converted using the Arcane Box into a Specific Weapon Driver that is used to upgrade a weapon of the same kind. Each driver will increase the target weapons % by 5%, this would mean you would need to collect 4 additional weapons to max out your current weapon. Note: You do not lose any fortifications, gems, etc. when using a driver on your weapon. Trophies Following the feedback on the previous content and their Upgradable Trophies we have aimed to expand on this. You can get a quest from Gogo that when completed gives you a formula to upgrade your Trophies. Note: If you complete all trophy quests and successfully craft all the Trophy's you will recieve the Honor Title "Eternal Oblivion" which grants you permenant Max HP +500 pts. Changes Pet's can no longer be used in battle during 3v3 and 10v10 arena. Increased <Pirate Leader> One-Eye Roger's HP. Awaken Hammer "The Messiah" now activates on both Attacks and Casts.   6. This is unbelivable. All events are not only logged but also evidence is provided that the win was genuine. So if you have a legit concern other than some mad conspiracy of events favoring 1 player over another put in a ticket of the event you think you should have won and I'll happly show you the proof that you lost fair and square. Not our fault that 1 group of players is better at hide and seek or unscrambles or trivias than you 😁
  7. I mean you don't have to have made the game to answer this question. The simple answer is PDPS classes have basic attacks that with capped attack speed can get you 3x as many attacks in atleast over MDPS classes. When they added Magic Basic attacks in the future games they also added Magic Defence too. There was a reason they raised the Defence cap first too as 70% defence came with Dragon Knight and I know that for a fact as they're referenced together just like Elemental Resistance and Sky Tower are. PDPS only have 1 problem in the game and thats been the same problem since day 1. They are easily kited, hence why on official using those -Move Speed gears was a thing. And no adding dashes to every pdps class isn't the be all end all solution to this problem either. I mean just look at a awaken. I gave small edges to PDPS classes such as slightly longer skill ranges on some classes and movement speed and damage buffs and now PDPS pretty much ruin all balance on the game. Yeh you have some MDPS classes that are still top tier like Mecha but for the most part people run dungeons on PDPS classes, dailys on PDPS classes, EXP runs on PDPS classes and even PvP on PDPS classes. Also I wasn't saying people where not saying this is the reason. But I can promise you if 10 people said they quit cause lifes unfair as a PDPS. 9 of those 10 people are lying for sure as most people in the 4-5 years of me working on the game and the 7-8 years playing the game most people who quit who are relevant in the games late game quit for either lack of content or bruised ego. You can tell this by the fact in a few months they join a winning guild and then suddenly come back and are winning again and suddenly these "PDPS problems" that are unchanged are no longer a problem. Whether you believe me or not I don't really care but I've been around long enough to experiance this happening with multiple "top" guilds and their members. Edit ~ Important I'd just like to add after looking into it, I cannot find a single referance to Physical Resistance being lower than 50 pts. This is not me saying people are wrong but I'm yet to see confirmation of it ever being capped below 50. I have found referance to Parry being 50% and that was capped at 50% up until when Dragon Knight was release (Same as defence). I'm yet to find anything on Physical Resistance so if anyone has any confirmation then please do provide it.

  9. I do not disagree with any of the choices he made. That is something I will state from the get go to be clear. However, I personally would have found place for 2 other pieces (You and Fey) that didn't make the cut as in my opinion they are much nicer in my opinion. As an artist you should understand that art is subjective to the person who is viewing and although you might think yours or someone elses was of a much higher talent its not always going to be a winner. I will be discussing with Herakles a general prize for all participants as quite rightly he said and I say myself everyone deserves something as they're all very good (except for one, you know who you are 😉 ). So expect something in the next couple of days. For future events I'll make sure he makes the criteria much more clear as I do agree its a little vague. So apologise for that!
  10. The free ones are suppose to be a hassle to use as a means for the prime ones to be more desirable (This is the most likely case on why X-Legend made it this way). This is also why people value the Alpha tools quite highly also, since you can stack those and they're pretty much free from the Eden Amephysts you collected. Just remember people spend gold, Eden Crystals or even real money on these prime tools for the convience of them. So making the free ones more convient isn't really something we should be doing here. Cutting out loading screens isn't really doing that but letting people afk for longer and allowing people with macro's to take advantage isn't something we should be striving for. People are paying for the convience here. Exactly. Botting is against the rules but it's hard to define someone as a botter when they're just buying tools in guild town. Kinda unfair on the people who spend their gold or Eden Crystals on prime tools just for someone who knows how to macro to not have to spend it right?

    I think he's being sarcastic. But I also think he's misunderstanding that people are more than likely talking about pets with the OP battle skills like -resistance and the Multi-Hit damage spells to help with PvE content. I'm trying my best but we're not releasing the P-ATK and M-ATK pets as of the moment as by request from a couple of players via the ticket system and via privately in game and on discord to myself. This doesn't mean these pets will never be released but they will not be released for a while atleast. That being said there is also a limited amount of pets so I'm trying to spread out the primes so that it doesn't get too repetative. There is a lot of inflation going on in game as people have finally realised how to farm gold efficiently so now the prices are going up on items as thats how economies work. I will try to make pets a little more frequent but I can't promise it will be to the degree you request.

I'm not really going to get involved in the whole "This resistance is too high" as I agree with Norjomah in saying that most people likely don't even have 30 Physical Resistance as with the amount the gems currently give and the amount of places to get Physical Resistance from is very little, you'd likely need to use resistance pots to cap it unless you go all out on it or playing a class with Physical Resistance passive/KP which again is very few. Personally I don't really care and it can be changed in no time but as the attention on this post would suggest its not something people really care for (If you compare this post to half the other posts on this forums which almost always turn into flame wars). So if people actually care for something like this asside from the OP then speak up. I mainly wanted to comment on this topic of "people quitting because of x". I can assure you now, if people had a problem with Physical Resistance and they where quitting over it then something would have been said to me in tickets, privately or on here. People are anything but quiet with issues with the game and if its something that drives a person to quit the game, it would have been mentioned elsewhere. There has been a few people "quitting" the past few weeks and there is a couple reasons why. Some might be due to covid and people not having time to play anymore as they're going back to work / school. Some have quit over the nostalgia dying out (as expected, WoW classic was the rave for a couple months and now you don't really hear about it anymore right?), people who have quit over losing in TW/GVG (Which is the most recent trend and again expected as it happens on the Awaken Server and has been happening for years) and ofcourse there will be some that don't appreciate the decisions made by us (VGN) in game direction which again is expected. No game is safe from people quitting and magically kissing there ass and begging them to stay doesn't do any good either as they will just quit over the next thing they don't like. People where quiting Aeria and Awaken almost daily at their peak activity as thats what people do. Now again I stress this, this is not me saying fuck off to anyone who wants to quit if they don't like something but honestly anyone who says they're quitting over something minor like Physical Resistance without me hearing a whisper about it, they're just full of it. So if you're one of these "quitters" or you have a complaint about physical resistance nows your time to speak up. This isn't a post for flaming each other and this isn't a post for defending points with "people are quitting because of this". Simply put your opinion in the reply box whether you agree or disagree and thats all thats needed. No need to back and fourth argue with someone over it, if you have something you disagree with you can do it in a civil manor and thats it. Also I'm fully aware now that I've responded this could turn into another Safety Stone flame war. Just going to state it now if your post includes anything about Safety Stones or direct attacks towards anyone on this post not only myself then I will simply just hide your response. This topic is about Physical Resistance and things relating to Physical Resistance, nothing more.
  13. The error in the second screenshot is usually down to your Anti-Virus. From the looks of your screenshot it looks like you're using Windows 7. Try adding the game as an exception on Windows Defender / Microsoft Security Essentials.

I had previously brought up an idea that involved a guild vs guild sort of element after TW on the weekdays based on the top ranked guilds in TW making it more rewarding to try even if the odds are against you rather than just giving up. I can't find the post atm but it seemed like people where somewhat hesitent to add more PvP on weekdays atleast. I'm all for more PvP personally but idk if a lot of others feel the same.

  18. Surrender vote will never happen, more of a technical aspect than anything else. However, might be nice to hear some suggestions on the victory conditions as I've had some complaints in the past about the current one. I think its not really the buff / debuff thing thats and issue but just the fact that they can be removed am I correct on that? If so I can easily fix that for the next patch.

It's not as simple as just "locking it to 110%" without having the knock on effect of hitting the currently available weapons nore is it worth the time to fix that and then make 5 drivers per weapon just for a small negligible % change of 1 or 2%. Last time Karah spent 1 day making those drivers and then another day or two testing them. It's 120% or nothing and I will only add it if the poll is atleast 70-30 with real voters (We can check). Also unpopular opinion but who cares, not all awakens are better than the pre-awken/normal 65 weapon. Also the ones that are better are sometimes not worth the upgrade as the difference is so minor its mainly just for the asthetic purposes. I will lock this thread as its just becoming a back and fourth.

    Drop rates

    Although its somewhat possible I just don't think its a good idea. Generally speaking this is not something thats easy to understand and just opens up an avenue for players who do not understand it to come here and flame saying its "too low" or "fake". The drop system is a little more complicated than a simple % chance of an item dropping and I believe this will do more harm than good for a simple QOL change. It's not a terrible suggestion for other games but with how the drop system works its not a good idea for Eden.
  21. Not a bad suggestion but my only issue is this has the potential to create pet duplications if done incorrectly and is also a big task for me just for QoL changes. I can look into this but it wont be any time soon as content patches will take priority over something like this.
  22. I just dont really see a need to mess with a stat that is functional and balanced as it is. Basic attacks give pdps a lot of edge over mdps classes especially in PvE and its one of the main reasons they're the more popular classes to use in PvP as they give more damage this way. I know that many people overcap attack speed at this point but this is similar with most stats in the game right now as stats are generally speaking very easy to cap since 90 gears onwards. The only way to bring this down is with level caps as stat requirements go up and if the gear is lower than the cap then the gear usually struggles to cap all stats.
  23. You pretty much made a pointless post to be honest. You asked if you should hoard stones now or they will be wiped at 70. But then you said you're going to fortify when Awaken Weapons come which are still level 65. So theres your answer if you wanna cash in now you can, if you wanna wait for something worth forting then you can wait. It was never confirmed at all. It was stated if step one failed (which is hasn't) then step 2 would be implemented. I've had to log in for various reasons the past few days and their is plenty of stones on the market for the +6 range. I would also appreciate if you'd stop with this 2 months nonsense you keep spouting about. Unless you're playing for like 30mins a day (which realistically isn't really playing) then sure yeh could take 2 months. I know a handful of players who are F2P who have 2-3 weapons at minimum forted already with sets varying from +6-+8-+10 and the patch came out less than a month ago. So I don't see where this 2 months nonsense is coming from.
  24. In future its better to open a new thread than necro an old one. If you got stuck at 92 there is repetable quests designed to boost your level to 93 when more quests will arrive your way. So if you're having trouble leveling there is that. As for Class EXP again there is good means to level them up in the latest maps 104-112 ish where you can level them all to level 100 rather easily. The dungeon you're refering to usually comes around when we have events.
